• MKS Shared VM Workstation issues

  So, I recently found a problem that I wonder if it's just me or what.

  The problem:

  I'm unable to connect remotely to a shared Virtual Machine hosted on VMWKS Pro 12.1.0

  I have forwarded all ports of port, and I know for a fact that I have all necessary ports forwarded, because I found a way to make it not work only once.

  How to recreate:

  (1) install WKS 12.1.0 pro on two computers on different networks

  (2) check the updates and install them on the two West Kitikmeot Slave Study *, BUT DO NOT REBOOT *.

  (3) on the server WKS, that hosting the virtual machine shared, enable sharing by clicking on edit-> Preferences-> shared virtual machine-> (maybe change the settings->) enable sharing

  You can share about what ever you port here, as long as you remember to carry forward to the internet.

  (4) always on server WKS, create a virtual machine of any kind, any os, whatever it is and once put in place the way you want, right click, then click on manage, then share it.  You can share good looks, make a copy or not, it is not really make a difference.

  (5) on the WKS client, connect to the remote server.  If you use one port other than the standard 443, then you must specify the server name as:(Port Number) (IP/URL)

  (6) you will be able to connect properly.

  7-restart the server of WKS.

  Everything you try after restarting the server will not connect remotely.

  You will always get the following error message:

  Unable to connect to the MKS: (name of user and password) login incorrect

  How can I fix it?

  I failed to reproduce the issue in your steps.

  However, there may be measures that can help,

  Please try the steps below?

  1. on the server, workstation (that share virtual machines), check the State listening to TCP port by the commands below:

  Run as administrator in CMD.

  "netstat - anb Pei tcp.

  Then check if there is a line like "0.0.0.0:903 0.0.0.0 TCP LISTEN [vmware - authd.exe]."

  The port can be 902 or 903 and 904...

  2. open the file config in %programdata%\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini,

  Check the line as "authd.client.port ="903 ""

  3. the port of config file and the actual listening port should be the same, if they are not same, then you may encounter the problem: "cannot connect to the MKS: login (user and password name) incorrect.

  4. change the line "authd.client.port:" for real listening port you get in step 1 in the configuration file.

  Try to connect to the VM server part even once.

• 20 release date: sharing / new Folio issue

• Win 8 homegroup sharing with password issue

  I have a few systems of windows 8 and I have joined in a homegroup. My question is, how can I do ask for a password when accessing the share? I've already enabled in advanced sharing settings of password protected sharing.

  Thank you for your answer, but I used the option of sharing folder for all my actions, but my other computers never requested a password when I access shares.

  ... But you use a homegroup, and this is what is passed, the credentials for the homegroup.  If you want to use standard network folder sharing, do not share the folder through the residential group option.
   
  In other words - if you want to be prompted for a network share of user name and password (valid user name and password you set up on the machine sharing the folder and gave permissions for the folder in question - the share permissions and file/folder) then you must STOP sharing this folder via homegroup on this computer and share it using Standard network share.

  I tried to enable sharing on my application of test of several social issues, but spectator Builder shows that the activate Facebook feature. No option to Twitter/Email/link is available in the page constructor Viewer Social sharing.

  Please try deleting Viewer Builder in the Applications folder and then download and install it again. You should see all four social sharing options in the viewer generator. If this does not work, try to remove and recreate the viewer in spectator writer.

• Questions about the images shared in Photos

  My wife and I have a shared photo album, and I copied a picture inside. So I decided to crop the image, I did on the version in my own library. I was surprised that the changes appear in the shared image. Issues related to the:

  • Are changes as it's supposed to appear on the shared item?
  • When the images are 'shared' in this way, they only live in the cloud?
  • If I delete the original in my library, the "shared" version still there?

  No, after the shared photo editing, share the again edited version.

  They are stored on iCloud and downloads local shadow copies, which are visible in your library of Photos from your Mac.  But shared photos are not added to your photo library, unless you are importing.

  Yes, the shared version will remain in iCloud, until you remove the photo of your stream shared.

  I am currently in E9 and I heard a lot of talk about social media and E10, but not a lot because it was not my goal this year. However, my marketing department is gong to be more aggressive in the coming year with social media, and I would like to know exactly what E10 for social media? Reporting, monitoring, basically anything that Eloqua can make in this area. Could someone tell me please in the right direction for this information?

• Check Mozilla Firefox themes for malicious before their publication code as it does with other modules?

  I understand that Mozilla checks Firefox Add - ons for malicious code and accept only and signs if they are clean and safe, however, there is no mention anywhere if they do the same thing with the topics even if they are considered a type of Add on. So Mozilla checks themes of malware before they are downloaded, because even though they are just images they may still contain malicious code?

  If Mozilla does it would be nice if it could indicate somewhere on his website and I also sign themes. If Mozilla doesn't, it would be advisable that it should.

  Well there is NOT an another SALES ARGUMENT for apple products.

  Go forward - possibly print to PDF and paper - all the documents you need.

  They installed at the same level you were on – or higher?

  On the only software that recognizes you may shoot in old documents/spreadsheets for IRS - or other social issues - LotusNotes now IBM.

  I would like to know if "Sound picture" can be shared through social media...

  For example, I take a Photo 'Sound' of my son laugh... will I be able to share the said picture on Facebook as a Photo WITH sound, as a 'video' or simply as an ordinary image?

  I ask because, with the arrival of the new iPhones, it comes also the function "Picture Live" (which existence already on other devices) and the popularity of this feature will rise and reign over the social media... as well as compatibility with her...   If you took a photo of her and that you want to share, you will get the option share only as a video or Photo. Go to Album > tap your sound picture > press the share button > choose video, this will include sound and image. AFAIK, this works very well for Facebook, etc.

  I believe you can, but why you use Adobe Stock images for this?

  Facebook gives you hundreds of thousands of free Shutterstock images to use on your ads. When you start creating an ad, and you are prompted to choose a photo, you can click on the button Free Stock Images and their research library.
