  • Explorer.exe does not work correctly.

    Hello everyone.

My name is George Sebros and I have a Toshiba Satellite A300.
The reason why I post this new topic, it is that I need a little help from someone who knows something about my above problem:
One day, about 2 months ago... I turn on my Satellite A300.
When he connected, not only none of my icons appeared but also the start menu does not...
The only thing that appeared in a screen totally BLACK, has been my folder "Documents and Settings" which opened automatically.
There was no way I could find neither the start menu (I mean the taskbar), or my icons...
So, whenever I close the Documents and Settings folder that had appeared, the only thing I could see was a black screen...
It was a kind of shock to me and I couldn't believe my eyes...

After a few days, I tried the well-known combination "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" to see what was working and what was not.
Then I pressed the 'FILE', then 'NEW TASK' and finally, I typed the word 'explorer' in there.
That's all! Suddenly, all turn to normal like the day before the problem started. I was happy with it, I could use my Satellite A300 again!
However, it is an indirect way to do my work PC!
This means that I'm still fain to use this indirect way to make the icons and the taskbar appears.
This means that the 'explorer.exe' does not work?
Many programs registry I use notify me on some HKY... files that contain DATA NON. I have to let you know that the explorer.exe is located in the (empty) folders.
It indicates that transplant programs that I use, point out the problem I have?
    Can someone help me?

I don't want to use the safe option of FORMATTING (also known as the FORMAT).
    Thanks in advance,
    George A. Sebros

    Hello

Seems that your Vista is confused upward
You can try to clean the registry and operating system in order to avoid the new installation of the OS.
    Please use the CCLeaner.

I use this tool as well for free and it cleans the registry and other files at the time.
    It really helps!

But if the BONE still does not work properly then you should try a new installation
Of course, this procedure is radically because the HARD disk should be formatted, but on the other hand, you will get a clean and functional BONE

  • "u3ajwry.exe" does not work on startup. What does that mean?

I get the message 'u3ajwry.exe' does not work. What does that mean?

There is no entry listed in the start menu to the top

Can't see the full command and nothing happens when I double click on the edge of the column rt hand.

Errm. Is there is no entry in the msconfig Startup tab then there is no complete command to try and see!

If this only happens at startup, it may be in via a mechanism not covered by msconfig. "Autoruns" should be. You can download Autoruns here

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-GB/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Once again, to see the full command (equivalent column is called 'Image path' by Autoruns), you may need to widen the column by dragging the right edge of its title, the mouse pointer will change when you can drag to expand

  • Run VI Invoke node: VI works, EXE does not work?

It is LV2009 without patches or updates. I call buffer.vi of static reference with a collection of nodes to invoke to run a VI. I don't have a very good reason for it, but don't want this code on the block diagram. I can't wait to put a lot of effort in this since I can just drag the code on the main scheme and I am sure it will work, but I do not understand why it gives me error 1000: VI not in a State compatible with this operation?

In the EXE file, when I check the status of the execution of the buffer.vi until I say it runs, sometimes bad. Same code in VI, sometimes slow. I also tried to replace the static VI reference with a reference open VI by using the name of the buffer and received the same error message. I have the buffer VI included in the compilation under always included.

So I was building an example of project because I didn't post all, boredom was the example ON what EXE has no error. WTF. Then I realized that I had another call from node in the boot sequence. OOPS. I put that in there thinking that the only way it would be mistake was if the VI was running before he called, in this case I wanted an abortion there. It turns out also-error (1044 locked VI) when running in an EXE file, even if this particular node using says he works with the runtime. SO, he tried to abort a VI that was not working. The initial error, 1000, just said not compatible with call node state, did not say that one.

Yes, sorry for the trouble and thanks for the help. Maybe someday I'll understand the problem that I was led to this, guess who is the fact that I can't debug EXEs. Kind of, I think it has something to do with an XControl I always use it because they always appear as corrupted files just before that the debugger fails. Anyway, thanks again, I'll plug that into the real system and see what else does not work.

    ·         You receive error message from Ant?

Method 1: I suggest that follow you the article provide below to solve the problem.

When you run an .exe on a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7 computer file, the file may start another program

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950505

  • Setup.exe does not work on vista64 World Book CD of nas

I am trying to install a hard drive Western Digital NAS World Book software on a vista 64-bit operating system.  I inserted the CD, double-click setup.exe, and nothing happening (get brief hourglass).  SELECT and Rt click setup.exe run as administrator has the same results.  This software CD worked fine on one of my XP systems.

Thanks again.  Nothing in Event Viewer (I learned something about the viewer and that's a good thing).

Contacted support of Western Digital (M - F only bankers hours).  It turns out that programs on the CD-ROM is not compatible with vista64.

The research of their knowledge base on 'vista 32 64 bit' has a faq, saying that the product works with vista64.  No need to download different software.

Will support.wd.com gave several icons of product to choose.  I chose the storage network (drive represents the drive of My Book World network storage) went to download piked global icon of the book and downloaded the installation software that does not work either.  TS had me all first choose the MyBook icon then took the same global icon of the book and downloaded the installer and it worked fine.

There was a single element in the knowledge base data (software cd not compatible with 64 V go...) in response to a query of 64 bit vista it saved us a lot of time. Extremely poor web supported but the phone was very good (if you are a banker).

  • CouponPrinter.exe does not work. I can download and run the program, but does not, print already added the file name to the list of java exceptions

running windows xp, update java 7 51, norton antivirus says file is ok, please help

    HI DJDOLLARROB,

Thanks for posting, as you might expect, there are troubleshooting you can undertake to check why the download does not work. It is highly possible that the source that you have downloaded from cannot be no longer works. Is there a site that you can check to see if it does not work for them either? Also where it is downloaded from?

Otherwise please see if scanitemswhendone is enabled: change what Firefox does when you click on or download a file

If download hangs at the last minute (just before reaching 100%), the cause may be an antivirus software that tries to parse the file and during this process the instance of Firefox crashes.

To resolve the issue, try disabling the analysis as follows:

    1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
    2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue on the subject: config page. A list of parameters must appear
    3. Filter the list by typing in the search bar at top. Enter scanWhenDone. Now you should find the "browser.download.scanWhenDone" preference.
    4. Double-click this preference to set the value to false.
    5. Then, try to download something and see if it still crashes.

Please reply and let us know if this helped you!

  • Taskmgr.exe does not work in Windows 7, 64 bit.

    Original title: taskmgr

Since I installed W7 Pro my "taskmgr.exe" did not work.

I found out it loads the incorrect version. It is trying to load "windows\system32\taskmgr.exe".
    I have a 64 bit OS.
    Load "windows\syswow64\taskmgr.exe".
At least, I think that it is correct.
How do I change Windows to load the correct version?
    Thank you

  • Convert.exe does not work on Windows 7

    Convert.exe

It works fine on windows xp but on my new Dell, it does not open.

    Hans alsted

    Convert.exe

There are likely hundreds or even thousands of small programs called ' convert, exe ", but I'm willing to bet that the one you have is a 16-bit application and you have Windows 64 bit installed on your new Dell printer.

Try to run 16-bit programs on a 64-bit Windows version will never work unless you install Windows Virtual PC (XP Mode aka) (for Windows 64 bit professional, ultimate and Enterprize) or an emmulator as DosBox to run the 16-bit subsystem for Windows 64 bit family versions.

  • HP compaq dc7700 minitowers: BIOS update exe does not work

I have the HP compaq dc7700 with mother 0a58h HP. I currently have the installed Intel e6400 CPU, but I have the Intel core 2 quad q9550 carrying around and based on the official list of HP upgrade that must be supported. So I put it (it was on the right track) but the only thing I got was 9 beeps of equal length. So I thought it was just that the BIOS update. I went to the drivers/software section and downloaded the update of the BIOS (from 01.15 to 4.02 or something). So I followed the instructions and extract the file. Then I opende the flash.pw file but it does not open! He repeated to me that I need the 32-bit or 64-bit version. I have 64 bit. I tried both and did not work. I downgraded to Windows 7 and did not work.

But then, I thought the q9550 CPU uses 95W but the e6400 only 65W, but there should be no problem because he has on some power just do nothing I guess.

Maybe I need to put it on a USB key?

    Please help me. Thank you

    Hello:

The Q9550 is not certainly supported in the dc7700.

The dc7700 won't work any processor with a FSB of 1333 MHz.

The best you can do in this machine is the E7600, and he needs a 3rd party program until the multiplier.

I've heard stories that someone installed the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 (2.66 GHz, 8 MB L2 cache, 1066 MHz FSB)

Here's the problem with the file you are trying to install.

This is a BIOS utility, not a BIOS update...

The drivers have been completely erased from the HP support site.

HP have a major problem with good number of pilots for hundreds of business PC.

I don't know how they're going to solve this problem, but they have better.

It's been weeks that these drivers have disappeared.

I reported the problem 2 weeks ago and all they told me is that they are aware of the problem.

  • VI reference exe does not work

Please someone solve this problem. In my app application.exe will ask the vi to run. I guess to give some defects_feature_information.vi in this way. If this path defect_feature_information.vi is selected in the folder its does not display not error. Fine workmanship. Problem: I've built my application with defects_feature_information.vi as always included. So I guess that choose the path H: / my project/Application.exe/Defects_Feature_Information.vi. In this case, it shows error. Please someone help me. I have included my exe and VI. Note: ProgOpenaVI LV 8.0.vi is high level vi

    Hi anitha.

Can you please elobrate what actually happens.

Do 1 thing use an indicator to see the path that it takes when you generate an exe file.

The application directory to use rather than the absolute path & this extra Subvi should be inside the folder exe Subvi path must be the directory of the application-name of the folder of the Subvi.

    Try this
