  Try going to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers for gmail account and see what is the port number for the SMTP server.  Try to 465.

  Also make sure that you use the correct settings here regarding whether SSL should be checked.  Visit the gmail Web see if you have the correct settings.

  I am not able to send SMS from my smart phone BlackBerry for the last day. I checked all the possible things, including my network, the settings of message, etc. I am able to choose contacts and messages of type, but when I try to send it it gets hanged, the track pad doesnot send it... even if I try to click on the Green tab for options to choose from, it doesnot wrk... so I have to press back, once I press back I see the typed message highlighted in green in my message box and if I click on it it goes away. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  I have had this problem since I bought my laptop. I am able to send only one file. In other words, when I right click on the file you want, there is a separate option "send to Bluetooth" allows me to transfer a single file to my phone or another laptop. But when I select several files and right-click on it and select ' send to--> Bluetooth device ", a window opens but it doesn't detect other bluetooth devices. I would also like to add that the drivers are updated and devices are in the range. The options "Send to Bluetooth" and "send to--> Bluetooth Device" are different.   Otherwise, how do you mean "emails should display"?  I don't understand the problem then.  What do you expect when you start OE?

  If it is not directly in the Inbox, you can have corruption and you can go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  Then see if it works.
