Shock resistant case?

I'm looking for an anti-shock case top for my 6 +.  There are a zillion cases out there that claim they are, but what are the best?  Can anyone recommend some?  I would like to find a case in a vibrant color.  I always lower my phone in the House and forget when a put option it.  A bright color helps me to find it.

Lifeproof cases are known, are expensive and have rather bland colors.  When I looked at them on Amazon, they had bad reviews for an expensive case.

Find a good deal depends on if you want it to be large, rubbery, plastic or thin. Case proof of life are great for going to the beach or go for a swim and all that, but the rubbery stuff fades very quickly and begins to air is not very pleasant. all these cases are very protective against falls.

  • If you want a rubbery case, I recommend the survivor of Griffin. If you go to their Web site, you can customize cases to your liking.
  • If you want a bulky case then I would recommend the otter box Defender or also the suburban otter box (which is not too large, but still has the same amount of protection.) you can also customize these cases on their Web site.
  • Im not personally fan of enclosures in plastic but incipio does very nice case with a lot of colors to choose. Speck also has some very nice case and losts of colors
  • For the slim case which I like most. Currently I have a wavelength of Caseology on my 6s.  It protects against the judgments and lips is triggered for the screen when you are sitting on the table does not touch the table.  on their website, there are a few color combinations to choose from.

All of these cases can be found on amazon for cheap.

Hi, I hope someone can help me.  I like to wear my watch while swimming, so that I can continue to follow my activity.  Does anyone know of a waterproof box that fits the 38mm Apple Watch?  I know catalyst pleads for the size of 42mm and I have contact with them, but they don't have any current plans to release a smaller version.  If anyone knows another option, I'd appreciate it.  Thank you!!

  • Water-resistant case disturbing As50

Hello. Ive already posted asking if its safe to use my AS50 underwater ("how tight is my AS50"), and I am very happy to take it on my first ever scuba diving (up to 12 meters). But ive tried just diving into a small fountain, as 10 cm deep and this happened:

When I sqeeze, a little water will extinguish. This scared me, is it supposed to be like that? Is the seal at the rear, or do my still new camera gone faulty?

Thank you for that - it was really hard to see.

The important part is the black part, it's where the target is at the door. The gap little where you see beeing trapped water in is not important to the case sealed beeing.

If you do not always agree with the case, then simply fill it with tissue paper, a towel or a tissue and let stand in deep water.

If the water, you will notice it immediately.

  • HP G620470CA: G62 - 470 CA do not load - power connector?

    I'm helping a friend with a laptop HP G62 - 470 CA.  It runs Windows 7Home Premium.

I'm a geek of very experienced computer hardware, since 1968, but only opened about 10 modern laptops - always with the help of downloaded books.

The laptop in question has only Wi - Fi networks, and I have only a Linux computer with a dial-up connection, so there is no way to connect the laptop directly to the internet from here.  And I can't view the videos.

The problem with the power connector - a common, but I've read all morning and have not yet find an answer.  There seems to be some interactions between the power brick, power conenctor, battery and motherboard problems.

Like many users, she found her power connector is intermittent, needing stirring so he could connect. As I had fixed the old laptop of his brother with a work of pig after it (soldered to the motherboard) power connector went wobbly, she asked me to look at.

When she showed me the machine, the battery was too dead to allow start-up of the machine completely.  The charge LED is not come yet a moment, and there is no visible light on the power brick itself (I don't know if there should be any on this model).

Put a meter outside the ring and the central axis, I found on 18.5V, positive pin, which looked good and is stable.  Biting moments and the cable has not changed anything.  It seemed that the power supply was the culprit.

I got it home (where I only switched) and studied the issue for several days, download of HP service documents and discovered that HP had improved their design with a nest, wiring-harness-connected socket which is more shock-resistant and easy to replace.  I told her, and she has ordered a replacement of cylinders harness + listed the number of exact model; I installed it, in the process of learning how to work the little clips on the printed ribbons cables and using a printed diagram from the bottom of the computer to save all the small screws and clips, "with circles and arrows and a paragraph to describe."

As both outlets had pinbacks resin-locked up, it was not possible to test connections.  A new differed from the former only by not having only not four tiny, rectangular holes around the hole of the central axis.  Food is not about to mate with these holes, and it lists a tension, so I wasn't expecting that to matter.  Maybe it was a feature for foreign cersions of the power brick, I thought.

I plugged it in no light, but I left in it for awhile in case only the LED was not connected.  Start the machine (including ahd been unable to boot), fortunately, he started and showed 85% battery!  However, only, which is down with the time - there was no load, or at least no more.  I checked the voltage of the charger to see if it may have been damaged by an internal problem.  I found only 13, 75 - 14.01 volts from the outside of the ring to the central pin (positive)!

Appearing to use a battery to try to light the LED of charging, I watched the cable brick and found that there are THREE sets of contact - the spindle, the outer ring and the ring INSIDE. Others showed:

4.75 - 4, 85 volts from the inside of the ring to pivot (PIN positive)

18.5 - 19 volts from the outside of the ring inside the ring (inside the positive)

Whaa?  The 18.5 was what I expected, but it was between two rings and not between a ring and a PIN.

And at this time, I noticed that from time to time, a blue (or white, I guess you'd call it) a DUCT on the connector turned on briefly, then turned red orange and outside.  Over time, it stayed white wheat longer, up to 8 seconds at a time, without showing any ability to charge the battery.

Reading much more here and besides, I noticed that many others had similar problems involving all parts of four - battery, power brick cable, connector and motherboard.  I noticed the battery test can be found in the pages of support and pulled up to HP Support Assistant to test, but the reliable program planted at startup.  It was a version of 7.something.something, the support site said that later was 12.0, so I downloaded that.  However, I can't understand how to install it on the HP machine after it (on USB) transfer to the Linux machine, and the laptop cannot get Internet at home.

WHAT can I DO to narrow down the problem?  If I know what voltages to which contacts, I can try to charging a battery nicad-multi, that would eliminate all the problems of power supply brick.

The laptop battery carries a lot of numbers, but next to the 'made in china' legend is CQ42 HP-6.  A sticker says 112B213G6LA65D9CJ83, and another with a barcode PRTNHP234BK06312120141.

That's a lot to read, I know, but I want to provide as much information as possible to help the members of the forum with kindness.  Again, the machine turns on, but fell to 18% of autonomy.

    Thank you all in advance!

Thank you, Reo51st - that clears up a lot.  As you probably know, the diagram on the power brick shows the symbol for PIN and ring only (with pin posiitve).

Since I posted this question yesterday, I have since set up a battery of 12 NiCd cells and jerry-rigged a connector with tin foil and a piece of cable insulation, and load worked.  Then I drove on Free geek, our very convenient source of Vancouver (and sink - they take your trash for reuse or recycling) of the old computer bits and $18 me have a new power brick.

I therefore declare this thread SOLVED (by me), even if the info from Reo51st certainly would have made me more confident in the test so I saw him at the time.

  • Adding SSD to ProDesk 600 SFF: where can I find the good material facility?

I bought the MFS 600 ProDesk. I want to add an SSD in the Bay 2.5 "and keep the hard drive 3.5".

Read the service manual installation on a 2.5 drive ", page 121 said 'Install four black and blue isolation mounting guide screws M3'.

    The manual says:

"NOTE: metric M3 isolation mounting guide screw can be bought from HP."

Questions about the addition of the 2.5 "to a ProDesk 600

    1. How can I get these HP?

2 are the sons of these screws compatible with most SSDS, more precisely from Samsung?  I have read conflicting information on the web (wow, contradictory information on the web? "It's shocking!)

    3. if HP screws are owners somehow, screws which can be used with standard SSD (thread and length, please)?  (I'd be happy to buy one of the SSD that HP sells on its Web site, but their prices are not compatible with other units currently available by a factor of at least 50%)

Thanks in advance for suggestions and answers

    Ok.

SSD drives are shock resistant. Which makes them very unlike electromagnetic inherited from hard drives, which can be destroyed easily by being moved or deleted.  That's why a lot of people just use tape double sided.  It is a solution of Occam.

    Hello Lindsay,.

Thanks for sharing your experience with shooting Action cam.

If moisture was trapped inside the airtight box before or while you insert the Action Cam in it, it can cause condensation inside the housing. The solution can be the anti-fog AKA - AF1 sheet that can be used to reduce the formation of condensation that could find themselves trapped in the case. Anti-fog sheets and price information can be found on the Sony Online store.

Another suggestion about how to avoid fogging is to insert the unit in the box sealed in a dry place with low humidity and where change little, if any, difference of temperature occurs.

Fix the adhesive mount for a surfboard wax can be difficult for the grip is perhaps not strong enough. To mount the cam of the Action for a surfboard, we recommend that you attach a floating strap in to the mounting hole of cable on the water-resistant case to prevent the camera to lose while surfing.

If my post answered your question, please mark it as an "accepted Solution".

  • HP EliteDesk 800 G2: HP EliteDesk 800 G2 2.5 inch screw drive

Where can I get screws drive 2.5 inches.  They are distinguished by the 3.5 inch mounting screws.  These should be shock resistant mounting screws.

I can't believe that it was so difficult for an answer.  I found that they use the isolation to drive screws 2.5 "on the recent series of mini EliteDesk.

    The correct answer is:

HP part # 594220-001 - past - son of insulation of hard drive (blue color)

They are difficult to find than the 3.5 "drive of isolation living in the after-market.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • the screen crack

Broken screen of z3 mine... It was really heart broken... He fell just less than 1 ft hight with transparent cover ordinary... But really really speaking, I had no idea that the screen get could be broken in such a minimal HGT. He got a crack on top... toch line but superior hair just stopped working... It was really painful, I spent 48000-... Can anyone tell how much it costs to replace these in India... As Sony asked to me to wait 10 days after that they will let me know the calculation of actual costs... Are asked people to Sony for this problem to such a fragile screen, even major manufacturers recall their defective devices and mobile businesses do not solve these problems... I guess that people... At least I fell Sony made me the fool... Sorry it's Sony will not now yr, again clients... Good bye..

    Hello

    I'm sorry to hear that.
Unfortunately, none of our phones are shock resistant. Even if he fell from a lower height, misfortune can be that it breaks. Since the repair process and prices may differ from a market, you'd better to raise this issue with your local support team:

  • First day with the mobile and shatter proof - broken

    Hello

I bought Xperia double Z3, mobile is great and every thing,

In the first day of use, it fell out of my hand on the ground, I picked up there instantly, but I was surprised that the screen was kicked as he was struck by the big hammer!
the functionality of contact has been lost, I went back to the buyer, and he told me that the warranty covers accidents, I told him that I had samsung s4 for two years and it is fell 100 times and harder than that and there was no damage at all to the screen!

They said that the screen was not shock resistant break proof!

I send the local support of sony in Egypt and they replied "good luck with your repair!

How can a mobile screen get bashed like that from a simple fall, and what is the problem with people taking in charge of sony?

Someone knows how to climb to a higher level of support?

If there is, please share the link, there is no such thing as a "phone shatter proof". I'm sorry about your question, but you have 2 options, 1. with your Xperia local as Jean-Claude suggested or DIY 2, for the last dated, you will cancel your warranty, but it might be cheaper, just to buy the LCD screen online and follow this

  • Audio synchronized beating. And then a few minutes in the video he is out of sync for the rest of the video.

I use a CX Activeon (think to Go Pro) with my Nexus 6 record @320kbs audio MP3. I try to sync the videos beating in the beginning of the video. After that I imported the files, first thing I can't synchronize automatically with PR. So I try to get it as close as possible with a manual synchronization.  After I have made modifications as flipping the video to the right orientation and synchronize the audio. I can still see that 1 or 2 minutes in the video, the audio is is more synchronized, but the first part is... What I am doing wrong. or is - something with the phone, record audio.

I use win10 with all of the CC.

    TL:DR

Activeon CX not shot in constant cadence, action camera use Handbreak to fix audio/video synchronization.

    Thus,.

I found a few things with the help of you guys thank you.

The camera indeed don't tire not in a constant rate although there is a setting for that I turn on.

Put a file of 20 min Handbreak and now audio is only slightly off comme.1 seconds of video throughout the moment instead of gradually worsen. After all, which I am fine with it is just dashcam footage.

Also got a new mount so the camera is no longer in the water-resistant case and the audio sounds fine to new just dashcam footage.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones roots resistant skin & case

    Hello everyone.

I just bought the hard roots skin & Holster. My question is when my BlackBerry is in the Holster, I can't activate it. I have BlackBerry it also lights to I'm placing the BlackBerry in the case, the screen turns off and there is nothing I can do with it.

This is a function that I can do to ensure the BlackBerry works so that in the case?

Thanks in advance for any help

    Constantin

You can not. This is not a parameter.

The BlackBerry detects the magnet and goes to sleep. It works as expected. Out of the Holster when you use it.

  • Help me understand in plain language how to stop shock Flash warnings.

I am 68 years old, and I'm NOT a person computer savvy by any stretch of the imagination. I've had horrible problems with warning shock Flash for four or five years now. I checked the support sites; I checked on the Flash of shock site; I looked at help on Firefox. So far, there's no sense to me that I read. I even asked other friends more computer help. None was forthcoming. Is there anyone in this group which eliminates the geek-speak that I have do not understand and explain to this English teacher in plain, simple English how I can solve this problem. There is not one time or a website or social media or any other thing that stands out. Simply, it happens suddenly without warning. Sometimes the continue button works well; most of the time, however, I just shut down and start again because everything is frozen. I NEED HELP!

A thought... you could see if the problem occurs in another browser. If it isn't, who will prove that it is a matter of Firefox, but if this is the case, I suggest to uninstall your PC - Control Panel > programs. Once this is done, the next time that you try to use the Flash you will be asked to install it, and I hope it will be OK.

  • Portege M500 - electric shock on the front left corner

    Hello

I use my Portege M500 more than 10 hours a day to write and read.

What bothers me from time to time is a wake-up call that I get when my left wrist touch the corner front left.
So, I feel the shock that is minor, though only in a very sensitive part. Bothers me.

You give me an advise how to fix it?

    Thank you very much!!

    Hello

I put t know what could cause this problem but I highly recommend contact the ASP in your country.
I mean something like that should not happen and I think that the ASP technician must check the hardware

Perhaps these small electric shocks are associated with the charge of static electricity... who knows?  :|

In any case, you should get in touch with your local service partner in order to clarify this issue!
