  My computer is a HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have problems with one of the HP software programs pre-installed - HP Support Assistant. It appears once a week (it works for a while after Windows has loaded and then appears a screen) and I opened Assistant support and attempted to change his schedule, but he simply refuses to save the changes I have made to its settings. I noticed that the version number is 4.2.5.3. The program when searching for updates (manually triggered), cannot access HP servers, but fails to download updates, cannot gather information can not analyze the system and tells me that my computer has all the updates (which, given the number of HP Support Assistant version) ", is obviously not correct).   Most HP installers contain several languages and you should be able to choose German during the first part of the installation.

  I recommend you to uninstall your current version first by using programs and features.  When it is uninstalled, it is often a good idea to restart the laptop before proceeding with the installation of the latest version.

  I've been struggling for a few days now, wishing to be able to watch some live streaming that others can see, but I can't.  It was suggested that upgrade to the latest version of Flash player.  Tried a lot of things, uninstalling and reinstalling and even the removal of previous versions of flash, turn the setting to Macafee and settings anti-ad on Firefox and using other browsers such as IE, Safari and Chrome.  Got myself into a mess where Setup could not complete due to a dll missing and finally did a restore of the system to a previous date before this and I tried to download it again.

  The process appeared to go smoothly, and the test successfully demonstrated, but said that I had successfully downloaded the release version 10.0.32.18, rather 10.0.42.34 which is apparently the current.  Streaming video, I am eager to watch still won't come for me.  What do you suggest me?

  Yes, you really need to upgrade to the latest version if you want safety last corrections to be applied. Now, more secure versions (supported by Mozilla) are 6.0.2 and 3.6.22.

  If you use 4.0, 4.0.1 5.0 or 5.0.1 you should immediately upgrade to 6 (recommended) or downgrade to 3.6.22. These versions have security problems and is more supported by the Mozilla security patches. People who use these versions are open to attacks.

  Hi Alvaro,

  As Jens has mentioned, you should be able to go directly from F5--> F9, but the recommended way would be worth the extra step to make sure.  (I was expecting to see a F8 step in there, because there was an update of the firmware of camera in F8).

  If you have a service contract on your device, you should have access to all the keys to unlocking via the Licensing Portal, so, again, do an additional step should not be too much a problem.

  If you do not have a service contract, you may be interested by this safety notice , which should help you up to version 9.  If you go this route, you should also ask the TAC request for unblocking F7 key so that you can make the gradual upgrade (or you go directly with the 5-> 9 if they don't give it to you).

  I'm not really clear on the intent of your question.  If you can get the latest version you want to buy it.  When you go to buy, you should be able to see if it has an option to buy an update of the version you currently have.  I can't find the purchase page to check it out myself... I can only find the subscription option.

  I would like to download the latest version from the download site and follow the instructions in:

  Each version of vCenter is a full version and is relatively simple point and click on install.  The only thing that I usually recommend it is that you have a backup of the database before doing anything, just in case.
