should I shut down my computer every day

Should I close my hp desktop computer every day or let it run

Hello

This article may help you decide:

http://Lifehacker.com/5940176/is-it-bad-to-shutdown-my-computer-regularly-or-leave-it-on-all-the-time

My experience: there are many computer facilities were broadcast to 10, or even 20 years without interruption and now nobody is willing to turn them off because they can never turn again. Talk to someone who has a few FEP (Front End Processor) currently underway.

Kind regards.

    Hello

    Method 1

Refer to the article below and try the steps mentioned, check if it helps.

Windows XP restarts when you try to shut down your computer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/311806

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I suggest that you check to see if the problem persists in safe mode.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Method 3

If the previous step fails, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • When I try to shut down my computer with Firefox running it hangs and stops the shutdown process.

When I try to shut down my computer with Firefox running, it does not close properly during the closing. Instead, it crashes (as described in this article) and will continue to do so until I have stop the shutdown process and close it manually, where it will still not respond. There is the substantive issue. Here is the list of the relevant data to identify more precisely:

On the list of programs is still active during the closure, the window of Firefox starts only appearing once as it should be, but a few seconds after starting to hang, it begins to appear a second time on the bottom of the list, with the specific name of the page is a duplicate of whatever it is on the original.

This problem does not occur in safe mode, but it is not caused by one of my addons either, as I figured out after disabling all my addons with tools > Modules rather than the safe mode and still the problem.

He is listed as that passes several times a week, but that is simply because that's how many times I forgot to close Firefox before pressing 'closed' and leaves the room without bothering to check it works. It happens whenever I try to turn off the computer with Firefox is running well.

See this article--> occurs not in Safe Mode

Check and say whether his work after turning off hardware acceleration.

I put the svchost.exe side warning to do something on my computer because if I click on it it will stop me... I tried many things and nothing is working any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

    Disable Norton.
Download Microsoft Safety Scanner to scan your computer infections by the virus.
This is a free security tool, you can perform. It works with your existing antivirus.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-in/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for the use of antivirus software that offers continuous protection.

Once it has run, you have to re - activate Norton. If the Microsoft safety scanner does not remove the virus, I suggest that you contact Norton support because it does not find the virus, he just can not remove it.

    I hope this helps.

and this message when I go to THE BATTERY option "your battery is temporarily disabled. Please shut down your computer and try again when the unit is in the operating temperature"my cell phone is outta warranty... what should I do? kindly help

    hchentanshankar,

    Welcome to the community.

I am sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue.  The battery is likely guilty, but you should check to see if there are any problems with the laptop or AC adapter / CC before you rush out and replace the battery.

I would start by checking the bios, boot the system by pressing F2 to enter the bios, you can also press F12 and select the bios menu.  Once in the bios look for the option for AC adapter warnings, if they are disabled they can and save the changes. If there is a problem with the adapter, you should start getting errors on the adapter.

If the adapter seems well, disconnect the battery from the system and turn off the laptop.  Wait an hour or two and then replace the battery and restart the system and see if you continue to get the message.   If you can run the laptop on battery only to leave the battery completely and then load it again and see if the problem returns.

I know that this may not be possible before you buy a new battery but if possible try a power adapter and the battery and see if the problem persists.  In this way, you can know if the problem follows the laptop battery or the AC adapter.

Please let me know what you find.
