Should I wear my Playbook applications to BB10?

As the title.

My apps is able to automatically resize with density and different screen size.

My application is an a porting android on the Playbook.

Can I use this app BB10?
If so, what I need from my android/playbook application to port BB10?

Android applications on the BlackBerry PlayBook would be also supported in BlackBerry 10.  The main differences that you need to consider is the different screen size.  But you mention that your application handles itself.

Download the Simulator BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha and give it a try.

  • How to wear a PlayBook JQueryMobile project project BB10

    Hello.

I have an application developed for Playbook that is originally a JQueryMobile project.  And it runs in the dev BB10 alpha compiled with earlier versions of the SDK Webworks BB10.

I have to wear and I would use bb10-theme instead of jquery's default theme.

Someone at - it facing the same problem again? Any advise?

    Thanks in advance.

    @itassets

What is the problem?  Do you mean that the theme of jquery BB10 won't work on playbook?  Have you tried already?

As far as I know jquery mobile looks and works the same on all platforms.  The only difference in the app will be your config.xml AND any API, you used.  Some of the API will be same not the same.

  • Need help developing a Playbook application

I need to write a user interface application based for playbook that needs to interact with C++ code

an existing application of the playbook.

I was wondering what would be the best option

#1 develop the user interface using native C/C++ SDK - interface with C++ application code

#2 develop the user interface using native Java SDK - Java interface for my C++ application

#3 develop the UI using AIR - use a feature of the NDK to interface with C++ library code.

Option #1 seems straight forward. Option #2 and #3 might need an interface to call a C++

    methods of Java or AIR.

As I'm new to developing Playbook applications please let me know what would be the best option.

The PlayBook has no support for Java outside the Android player, resulting in applications with a feeling distinctly not native.

However, AIR has an interface fairly good native extension let's you call native code. AIR also has a current user interface infrastructure which is very good.

The native SDK currently has no native toolkit UI and will not be until the release of Cascades. So if you design your user interface with the native SDK, you will need to bring your own UI toolkit. You'd probably want to focus on Qt.

So, unless you are already a Qt or willing developer to wait for waterfalls you probably want to do UI in the AIR.

  • Should I wear to the front through a VPN

    I currently have a Cisco 1905 as my hub router, running v15.1 (4) M4. (192.168.1.0/24)

This router has a static public IP address on interface GI0/0 and the internal address is enabled GI0/1 and we use NAT for Internet access.

I have an ASA5505 (v8 (4)) Branch (192.168.12.0/24) connection to the router with EZVPN and the VPN is setup and works as it should.

I can access the branch out of the hub and vice versa.

I have a security camera in the branch that I can access through the VPN without problem.

The problem occurs when I try to access the camera from the internet using port forwarding.

We have several camera in the Office of hub that we access using via the following command port forwarding

IP nat inside source static tcp 192.168.1.40 80 40001-stretch SDM_RMAP_1 route map

    It works 100%

I tried to access the camera in the Office using the command

IP nat inside source static tcp 192.168.12.40 80 41001-stretch SDM_RMAP_1 route map

    but I can't get through.

I can see the NAT translation in the branch for the port 41001, but I'm not through.

Is this possible? should I wear to the front in a VPN tunnel?

The problems is that the branch office is an Office suite and we rent space. We are not provided a public ip address and I have no control over the router providing an address in the ASA5505.

Any help would be appreciated thanks

If you have crypto-cards running and you prefer split tunneling, then I suggest a completely different way to resolve that:

You can install a small linux box (or Win2012R2 will also do the job) in the main exercise (better would an own DMZ for that) and set up as an agent reverse. This system takes requests and passes them to the cameras.

  • What should I wear my PES with data to a new PC? [was: accounts]

Wie kann ich mein PSE mit den Daten auf den neuen PC portieren?

    Accounts says:

What should I wear my PES with data to a new PC?

    Microsoft® translator translator

The only way you can do this by installing the ESP on your new machine using the DVD and the serial number you have purchased.  Once this is done, you might want to copy all photos from the old machine to a flash drive and then copy to flash drive in your pictures folder and let PSE concludes that they are and catalogues automatically.

This method is ideal if your did not create catalog very sophisticated in your old machine, because you can also transfer the old catalog on your new PC so that you don't have to recreate the catalog from scratch.  If you want to transfer the catalog as well then on your old PC run PSE Organizer and go to:

    File > backup catalog

It is also recorded on removable flash drive

Now go to the new computer and launch Agenda and do almost the same thing except:

    File > restore catalog

Now this almost should help you get started.

    Good luck.

Your Android app should contain no native code and be compatible 2.3.3.

  • Porting applications to BB10: video rotation and display

I'm porting a game of the PlayBook for the Z10. I had to show a video at the beginning of the game and I had some problems in the past with the PlayBook, but they have been resolved.

Now that I'm the same game to the BB10 platform porting, I find myself with another problem linked to the video. I have exhausted all my options, and I wonder now for your help.

The problem I have is related to the default orientation of the device. While the PlayBook is defaulted to a landscape orientation, the default Z10 the fashionable portrait.

So the simple solution is to simply orientation in the file of the bar - descriptor.xml to landscape and autoOrients set to false, right? Well, this solves almost all the problem of porting the game: the rest of the game works really well, I just had to do something with the accelerometer.

However, the original video appears distorted. Here is a screenshot of the Z10 turned:

Here's my proposal: when you test the game with the default/portrait orientation, the video appears distorted as well, but it appears in the entire screen, fits the dimensions portrait. When you set the ladscape orientation, it always fits the dimensions portrait, but now turned.

Get the properties of the screen through the screen_get_window_property_iv() function call while playing the video returns this:

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_BUFFER_SIZE: {1280, 768}

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_SIZE: {1280, 768}

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_ROTATION: 90

There is apparently no way to change the dimensions of the video playback, or through the mmrenderer library or the screen.

What kind of appeal should I use to change the dimensions of the video, so it appears correctly renderered?

    Thank you.

    Hey there,

    This example:

    https://github.com/BlackBerry/NDK-samples/tree/master/VideoWindow

Contains code that you resize the rect accordingly, depending on window size. May be able to help in your quest.

  • Should I wear my watch to bed?

So, I brought my watch yesterday and update to the latest version of the software, now I wonder if I should sleep with my watch on and if it is drained off the battery. I'll try and see, but like some of the reviews of the apple community.

Better to take the watch to sit on the charger while you sleep. In this way, it is 100% when you wake up and ready to go.

A certain amount of battery will be discharged while you wear even in standby.

Congratulations on our new Apple Watch!
