  I used my iPhone to scan my home network using AirPort Extreme. I found 3 open ports on the extreme of the airport as follows:

  I'm a super newbie to the airport. I would like to ask what is the 10000 port for? Why is there a Linux administration tool in an apple product?

  Note that ports above 1023 including 10000 could be anything and should generally not be worried.  It seems that 10000 is for example used for VoIP call.  So, being identified as Webmin is probably a false decision simply because who uses also 10000.

  'Default' printer can be set to be the 'fax' instead of your main printer.

  See the following topics:

  Print to printer without first record in the file

  In general, if you do not configure the fax - and that you do not accidentally - access you should not have to worry about this.

  You can find more information on fax in the User Guide, Page 62.

  If you have any concerns that 'something' is entered in the configuration of the fax that you ignore, you can check / look at your configuration of the fax machine (as well as all of your facilities to printer) using your EWS link on your printer.

  AFAIK Miniport WAN is a part of the Ethernet controller and you will need to install the LAN / Wlan driver.
  You should go to control panel-> network-> Lan-> properties control.
  Here, you should check if all protocols are installed.

• Mass delete contacts on Devour: not through Google

  This we ' are for geeky expert to devour.

  I need to mass delete all contacts on the contacts list of my Devour directly, not through Google. Read on to see why.

  I had bad tip from Verizon when it is load my list of contacts from my Treo when switching to devour. All contacts appear on my Devour under the scope of the Source as 'unknown '. I have about 580 contacts IHN the phone (still messed up, as explained later complications, below.) I need to delete all contacts on the phone contact database. I have read all the help on changing the contactnlist and most of the suggestions consult Google bugs that do not work due to the data of source Treo. I see only a built-in mechanism to remove a contact at the time - make a list of contacts, long wait on contact, Sekect "remove contact". It would take forever to get rid of all these. BTW: There are about 8 addtl Ceres which came through MotoBlur associated with Verizon account short, for the most part.

  I don't want to do system reset because I'll lose all my e-mail & text history and all loaded apps, right?

  When I go to Google, the contact list looks somewhat OK (apparently came from the 'unknown' on my phone list), but it does not sync 2-way. If I make the changes online in the Google Directory, they appear on my phone - probably because of the 'unkbown' (Treo) source.

  If I could remove my Contact list on the phone, mass I could re-sync my phone from the list of contacts on Google because they would no longer have a source = unknown for existing contacts.

  Other complications:

  (1) I have a Notes transferred over the Treo fields. Some notes have returns to separate lines. Notes display in Google and on my phone to OK, but Google's CSV export generates a new record/line whenever he sees the "new line character" mess up the data structure for this record, which ruins any download data to Google.

  (2) Treo helped contact storage/search by name, first name, and company name. {I hope one of these days Devour will get her act together to do this, because it is a tool of business for me - not a way to deal with my buddies. The Treo, I had about 80 entries to contact no contact – just the company name and phone number. • Disabling native ring drop-down

  Does anyone know how to disable the native drop-down list of controls of the ring and enum. I work (disabled) when I use the event filter and throw the mouse down event. I pop up my own fall down in a sub VI in this event and it works perfectly. However, when I try to get mouse support for this control via an event loop control, I can't throw the mouse down event because it seems to ignore all the events that are configured for this. I if a timer in case case would give me enough time to receive the event into the loop of surveillance, but unfortunately not good it (never fires). Maybe I should describe a little better:

  I have two event nodes that are put in place to trigger on a mouse down event. The first is filtered to remove from the drop-down list the current LabVIEW. The second loop is top sink my code for my own downfall. This works perfectly for each type of control, I want to (string, digital) except when labVIEW runs special background code for the menu drop down. Why LabVIEW destroyed the mouse down to all the nodes in the event if only one is filtered. I have a way around this, but I WANT it to work that way for various reasons. I want no additional code in case of loop as a queue or messaging to build to handle this. It would defeat the purpose of my experience (of which I'm sorry I can't be more explicit in the details).

  Why must my code be found in the events node in order to make it work? If there are two nodes of events registered for the same event, they both should receive them without worrying if one removes it by filtering. right?

  A dark place in the LabVIEW help file:

  

  To filter events, LabVIEW send event sequentially to each structure set up for the event event. The order in which LabVIEW sends the event filter to each structure of the event depends on the order in which you record events. Each structure the event must rule on the case of event before filter LabVIEW can prevent the next structure of the event. If a case of structure of event changes the event data, LabVIEW passes the data changed to structures of later event in the chain. If emissions of a structure of the event in the chain of the event, LabVIEW does not pass the event of any structure of event remaining in the chain. LabVIEW complete the user action that triggered the event configured only after any event structures treatment handle event without throwing.

  For example, you run the vi with the filtering event loop before running that the vi with the event no filter, the filter event loop would first register (register of events using a vi containing the static events).   Changing the code to save the two events as events filtering and without mods on the first lap of the event should allow you to act first and then filter then.

  I looked into this further and concluded that this problem has been corrected in TestStand 4.0 and higher, so the next time that you upgrade you should not have to worry about this problem more.

  Just to make sure I understand, you have the Word documents on them with backup discs and wondering if they will be recognised by Windows 7.
  If this is the case, then you should not have to worry. Windows 7 will read the disc properly. However, as with XP, you will need to install the correct program that you would use to open files.
  In other words, if they are Word documents, then you will need to have MS Word installed or installed works for viewing.

  I like the fact that you can move the fans and it's cheaper. I also think that if one of the fans couldn't you could just buy a replacement.

  I go with this one, but keep in mind it is at an angle of permanent, so if there is a problem, this isn't for you.

  I understand that you are concerned about the Linux Client of Ralink showing on the connected peripheral routers.

  Although this question would be better asked directly from D-Link, I have some information that may help to explain.

  The Linux Client of Ralink is probably the internal chipset of the router itself. RALink is a popular manufacturer of wireless network card used by many well-known companies. HP, GIGABYTE, D-Link, Belkin etc...

  This device should be nothing to worry about. If you want more information I would say communicating directly with D-Link. You can access their support here: D-Link - supported.
