Should what drivers I after a clean installation of Windows XP Edition family on basis of Compaq d530 CMT model?

I had to do a fresh install of Windows XP Edition family with a different drive than what was originally on the PC. I installed the network driver, but I don't know what else I need, also far than go to drivers, because there is so much to choose from. Also, I can't start Windows without the installation disk in the drive. If it is not in the drive, he'll get me through the entire process of installation and configuration. Thus,.

1. What are the other drivers and updates do I need?

2. what should I do to be able to start Windows without the installation disc?

Thank you in advance!

    Hello

Just unzip the files, you should be able to right click on the file and select "extract here". Once the files are extracted, just locate the .exe file and double-click it to launch the installation program, from there just follow the guests to install the driver. You may need to restart the computer for the changes to be detected. :-)

You can make it complicated for help us to you. In this post , you wrote that you have downloaded an ISO file that you found on the net. Here you say you bought a DVD.

You will need an official Win7 disk (or ISO real) that corresponds to the type of product key of Windows you have. A legitimate Win 7 disc will not ask for drivers.

    Start Win 7 installation disc

    Follow the prompts

    Enjoy

If you do something else than that, then you don't have a record of Win 7.

How can I restore old files after you perform a clean installation of Windows Vista

If you have an installation clean back to factory settings, you normally wiped your hard drive clean during the process.

    You can try this program:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/Recuva.html

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that allows you to analyze your hard drives or media cards for files that have been deleted or formatted. It presents you a list of files that have been found, as well as an assessment of their potential for recovery, a preview option, and a hex viewer to inspect the content. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g. images, audio etc.) and choose between a quick and a thorough analysis approach. The program also includes a secure deletion option that allows you to permanently delete files that were found while parsing, to avoid any future recoveries.

Run the hard drive HD diagnosis extended CD scan manufacturer to know with certainty the State of the reader.  If your brand has no bootable diagnostics in the link, use Seagate Seatools burned onto CD or SeaTools for a USB key .  Follow this with a full check disk command from the installation media kicked prompt know with absolute certainty the State of the reader.  If he repeated the errors after you run the two tests twice, I replace it or at least keep everything backed up in real time.

Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista

I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.

I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.

Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

Since it is an internal adapter to ensure it is enabled in the settings of configuration/F2 (BIOS/CMOS) often like you

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
