  I'm going to show a hidden field, once one of the items in drop-down list is selected with an if statement then. I tried to put the code below in the code above, but it does not work. I am familiar with livescript event management system, so I'm not too sure where the if then statement must be submitted. Should it be set in the * click the section? Or the initialze section? If someone could shine some light on what to do here it would be great.

  My example display only text. When you view the drop down from the window of the object, click the link tab. If specify the item values is checked, then boundItem will return what is in the value column during the passage of what is in the text column. If you have added an additional element in the list without adding an item of value, maybe that's your problem. In my example, if you check the box, it will be 1, 2, 3 in the value column. If you then in the code, you have added the this.boundItem part, case sections will have to be changed from 'TextField1' to '1' and the same for the 2 and 3.

• Hide the drop-down list when you print only when "PLEASE SELECT" is selected (unused field).

  Our form has several drop-down lists that by default the option "Choose", and not all of them are used whenever the form is used.  When we print a copy of each document, we would like the (unused) field "Choose" to disappear when printing - to make a copy of paper filter.  Is there a script for this?  I tried to use only the general framework ' Visible but does not print ", but of course, the field prints any - we need to print only when there was one another option as the default"Select"is selected.  Thanks in advance for your help.

  You can use a custom validation script, something like:

  Event.Target.Display = event.value = "choose"? display.noPrint: display.visible;

  To put this into effect, you will need to make a different choice and place it back to "choose." Another option would be to place as a custom Format script.

• Photoshop Elements, all drop-down lists locked

  After downloading PSE11 and from the trial version, all dropdowns are grayed out and locked... File, Edit, Windows, layers, etc. all lists than the gray text and are not available for use... I am not able to make or save anything.

  Please help... and Yes, I tried an opening image and editing it... and still the same problem.

  Trial versions are supposed to be fully functional... and yet nothing works... Help, please!

  The layer list is grayed out unless you have an image open in the main window in Expert Mode

  What about the menus file or edit in Expert Mode?

  My advice for your case would be to build your own simpleChat UI with the simpleChatModel that we provide and you can have the freedom to do whatever the desired user interface. Our example of SimpleChat folder samepleApps built a UI using the SimpleChatModel cat.

  However, if you feel to follow the path of quick fix, you can simply override the createChildren() or other functions in your subclass of CustomSimpleChat of SimpleChat and use only visible/hide no matter which component. You can look at the source code for player 9 in SimpleChat for more details. Its useful as a reference in many cases the same if you use Player 10 swc.

  For your specific case, you can do this in your subclass

  The ampersand is reserved for accelerators. However, if you place two times

  (one after another), it will appear.

• Space Designer logic IRs are installed, but still not appearing is not in the drop-down list on interface Space Designer?

  I use Logic Pro X 10.2.

  I can't load my Space Designer IRs logic on interface Space Designer via the menu drop down. IE - I CAN load IRs one by one manually by clicking on the button IR and trawling through my library of Macbook etc. and do it this way - but obviously this is not cool...

  It's where my Space Designer logic IRs downloaded by default:

  1. Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps/plug-in Settings/Space Designer

  (2) users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps / Impulse Responses

  In the Handbook of the logic of the effects, it says "all impulse responses with Logic Pro are installed in/Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple folder. Deconvolution files have an extension of file .sdir. »

  So I copied the IR files in there too.

  I don't have this folder below - I think not that it already existed on my Macbook Pro. But some people have mentioned that they have their IRs logic there:

  Library / Application Support / logic / impulse responses - so I put this folder and copied the IRs in there to try, but nothing happened, if I deleted again to return my computer to original settings.

  I also tried to copy in Library / Application Support / logic / settings of plugin / Space Designer, but this did nothing no more... so I deleted them back.

  The IRs only, who are actually working properly - IE, they show in the drop-down list Space Designer window (see photo) are some Lexicon 480 L IRs that I downloaded and according to the instructions on the site Web 3rd party, I put them in:

  / Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps/plug-in Settings/Space Designer

  / Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps / Impulse Responses

  (The IRs of logic are there too... but obviously, they do NOT appear with the lexicons in the menu drop-down). I also tried to install any other lexicons PCM90 without success. Tried all possible places.

  Just very frustrated at this point... any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope that my post is not too complicated... I'm quite confused myself at this point...

  It's okay...

  Note: This is the system library not library user... which is where I'm guessing that you have been looking for...

  Go to the menu bar of the Finder... Choose send, and then tap option go to the folder...

  Now, paste the following text in there and press return.

  / Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple

  You should find all the answers there y...

  The user users folder /Music / Audio Music Apps / Impulse responses is for presets save you yourself via the drop down in the plugin itself... more all 3rd party presets... who could settle there...

  I have a drop down list with numbers 1-31 on one of my screen, but when I go through the interview and click the drop-down list button, it shows me numbers 1-9, then 3 points «...» ' said there are more options. How to reach these figures which are not visible?

  For OPA 10.4:

  1. open the appearance.properties file in NotePad ++ or any other text editor (.. \(Your-Project)\Release\web-determinations\WEB-INF\classes\configuration\appearance.) Properties)

  2 find this section:

  # Global switch to enable or disable the search comboboxes

  Enable-search-comboboxes = true

  Search Max-results = 10

  3. do one of the following:

  -Change: enable-search-comboboxes = false

  OR

  -Change: max-search results = (a larger number, for example the number of items in the longer list)

  Note that regardless of the changes made in step 3 will apply to all drop-down lists in the project.

  I want my bookmarks to display in the drop-down list only in the sidebar that I don't want to use

  Is that the drop-down menu that shows if you click view your bookmarks' button next to the button star bookmarks in the Navigation toolbar?

  Note that when you to bookmark a page by clicking on the star, then the new bookmarks is created in the unsorted folder.
  The unsorted folder does not show in the drop-down list.
  You can click on the underlined blue stars another moment to change the bookmark and move it to another folder.

• How to have a single list of items in drop-down lists separated?

  Software: Acrobat X (10) pro Windows

  I want to create a form pdf in which drop all lists are filled with the same list of items to choose from. If I use the same field name for all drop-down lists, the selected item in a menu drop-down is automatically selected for all lists. This is not what I want. I want to be able to select an element that is unique and different in each drop-down list. I could of course keep lists of items for each field (using the separated field names) but a waste of time!... especially since the field lists must be updated separately. There must be a better way to do it.

  Any idea how this could be done? Thank you.

  Here's a sample script that defines a list of items in a table first and uses it to update a number of drop-down menus, name dd1... dd10:

  You have at least two syntax errors. The first is that you used the wrong operator for comparison. 'Is', not '=' (this is the value assignment operator).

  The second is that you did not put blocks of code inside the curly braces.

  Hi - I'm wanting to use a selection from a drop-down list for hide/show 17 subforms which contain only text. I tried if/else instructions that I used in the same way before but I have problems of implementation of that time. Is there a better way to do when several subforms are required to show/hide.   What event trigger you the action on? I have the following to the Exit event and it works.

  If however you have the button 'Specify Item values' clicked on the link tab, you need to change the "Hide" values for their specified either value "1".

  I'm trying to show/hide subforms with a drop-down list selection. I found a lot of information on the subject and ended up with what my script:

  However, it does nothing when a selection is made in the drop-down list. I have the "SubformZZI" initially defined as 'Visible' and the 'SubformZZR', originally defined as "hidden".

  Any suggestions?

  Check if the form is saved in dynamic form. File-> save as and choose dynamic for the type of shape...

  Other that that, you should check if you have given the values for the selection of the drop-down list as '1' and '2' in the tab of the control's binding.

  I have a field from the drop-down list with three choices. Based on the selection, I need a specific text form field to appear and the others to stay hidden. (Or if it makes the code cleaner, the resulting field could be a drop-down list, too, with the selected choice.) I don't know Java well enough to extrapolate the code from the examples online and it fit my forms. I can provide an example of form. Thanks in advance for your help.

  There are ways to run this.  the easiest for you would be to add this script to the event (calculation of the Properties tab) to calculate the field that must be hidden.  Take notes, all "/ /" is some tips for you to understand the code.  You will need to put this script in all the areas you want to replicate the behavior, change the value depending on what you want to accomplish.  the word 'event' means myself to make you understand.

  This works if you have a small amount of fields.  If you manage to have a large number of similar fields, let me know because there are other, faster ways.

  Hello I need to create two drop-down fields on a dynamic PDF in LiveCycle. The first field contains three choices. When a user selects an item in the drop-down list first I would like to a new field of drop-down list has been shown. For each item in the first drop-down list appears a new field drop-down list with unique values. If the user chooses blue drop-down list of blue shades indicate in this menu drop-down will be various shades of blue to choose for. If the Red is chosen, Shades of Red dropdown with appearance and if yellow is displayed the same occurs. Also if the user must go back and change their selection in the first drop-down list, they can do the same. Any suggestions?

  There are 2 ways you could do this. The first is just to have the 3 drop-down lists for the second box to separate and do them all hidden. The output of the first dropdown event would then have the code that would make it the second box become visible, something like (in formcalc):
