Shows of 64bits 21.0 Firefox Windows 8 sometimes suspended in the Task Manager

I have a laptop of 64-bit windows with Firefox 21.0 8. In the night I turn my computer off (not restart), I have fastboot or anything and when I login I run firefox and nothing happens. I can open Task Manager and find firefox and it says that it is using 178 k or an infinitely small number of memory, then state instead of saying 'running', he said 'suspended '.
I then finish that firefox and start a new one, and it works fine.
Why it does not the first time that I start it well?

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • Windows:

      • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
      • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
    • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
    • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • View Manager does not load at startup (Windows 8 - confirmed activated in the Task Manager / start)

During the recent update MDD, I can't get it to load automatically at startup.

    I am running Windows 8.1.

I have to run it manually every time that I boot - which is a pain.

I activate under via Task Manager startup items (oddly there are two DDMs that appears here, both are enabled).

    Any advice / help?

    Thanks in advance!

It seems that you have installed the display manager Dell with privileges "Run as administrator". DDM cannot load automatically with this option for reasons of security, that is, it cannot start without the explicit permission of an administrator - Windows does not.

Right-click on the MDD program or shortcut and select Properties, then cliquer click on the Compatibility tab, uncheck the box "Run this program as Administrator" and then click on "change settings for all users.

Or just reinstall it with the "Run as Administrator" option unchecked. DDM itself doesn't require elevated privileges.

  • Firefox by opening several processes in the Task Manager.

This has happened for a while now and I tried a few things to fix, but I can't identify the cause of it. In the course of a session, Firefox will open processes additional http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a253/ravenillusion/Screenshot2014-05-14144644_zpsedeb97f0.png. Each of these processes use about 4 MB of RAM and can be closed without affecting Firefox. When you close Firefox these additional processes do not close and will prevent you to reopen Firefox until they are closed. So far most I timed were 50 of them and close them manually is a pain.
I tried to adjust my addons and that did not solve the problem. I have a feeling and a believe it's connected I get an error every time close Firefox:

  • Firefox won't work, even if current running in the Task Manager.

We have about 5 users having Firefox refuses to open. In the task manager the firefox.exe is running. When we run as administrator, it works sometimes, but runs faster. We tried the ESR 38.2 Firefox and that worked for a day or two. I deleted their profiles and installed Firefox fresh with no Add-ons, even a day or two later, it opens. We turned off hardware acceleration, no change. The only thing I can think that I have not done is to clean the registry.

  • Firefox is running in the Task Manager, but only opens a window.

I can't get Firefox to open a window. I tried firefox-p (Profile Manager) and firefox-safe (safe mode), but nothing works to open a window. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but that solves nothing. I haven't changed anything recently, so perhaps there is a update (?) Here's what happens:

I try to start Firefox, and the Task Manager indicates that Firefox is running. It employs about 32 k of memory, but the window never opens.

I click Firefox again. Manager tasks indicates 2 Firefox process now. The second is to use about 4 k of memory. Running Firefox repeatedly adds additional tasks to Firefox, each using about 4 k of memory.

After about a minute, the additional tasks of Firefox (the 4 k ones) start closing 1 by 1. I am now down to only 2 Firefox process, using 32 k and 4 k of memory, respectively. As far as I know, these processes will last forever, until I have shut them down manually. If I run Firefox again without closing the current process, it creates another 4 k process, which finally closes itself. If I close all the processes manually, I can start over from scratch. Meanwhile, Firefox never opens a window, or give a clue showing that it is running, with the exception of the processes listed in the Manager tasks.

I deleted the one in my USER folder without change. There are a couple more in various C:\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles files, so I deleted those too, without change.

It's a custom location. Normally, the profiles are under AppData\Roaming, I think you already know. There is a shortcut:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\

This folder must contain a profiles.ini file (.ini file extension may be hidden), which shows the names and paths to your profile folder (s). If you check in a text editor such as Notepad, this file contains sound data?

If this started right after an update, it could be a problem with security software, put an end to the commissioning (rules of program control) or program files has been corrupted.

You can check your firewall and other security software for program restrictions.

To meet possible corrupt files, I suggest:

    Clean reinstall it

We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (no incompatible or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (A) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 43.0 https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (B) the release of Firefox (if any).

    (C) to rename the folder of the program as follows:

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

    (D) to run the installation program that you downloaded in step (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

A cleanly reinstalled Firefox starts up normally?

Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \OldFirefox\Plugins
    • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
  • Firefox window blocks everything else on the computer screen

for some reason, the FF window now blocks EVERYTHING else on my computer screen. for example, if I open a PDF file, it opens BEHIND the screen of FireFox. normally the PDF file would be open, and in the new window on my screen, hide at least a portion of the FireFox window. no more. If the FireFox window is open, it blocks everything on my screen. even when I click on these glazed elements, FireFox remains visible and above them. It is a serious problem, because it basically means that I have to close my browser when doing anything with other applications on my computer screen. which, of course, is not realistic and will force me to start using another browser.

reinstall your browser. but still why is this a problem, you can open them in the toolbar at the bottom of the scree with a single click.

No, for some time nothing worked. If FF was open, the thing any blocked FF window on the computer screen. you could click on something else and he would still be blocked by the FF window.

but I went to the control panel and set the window again and properties file to "default" and everything back to normal.

  • Firefox will not hold, but shows in the Task Manager, after updating graphics drivers from AMD 13.1.

    Hello

After update for drivers AMD 13.1 on my 5770, Firefox will not launch; It doesn't, however, appears in the Task Manager. I want to emphasize that it will boot into Windows safe mode; When I opened it in safe mode, I used this time to deactivate all plugins, modules, extensions and created a new profile. This did not help. I also tried launching Firefox in its safe mode and had no luck with that either.

I encountered this problem once before, when trying to upgrade to an earlier version. I think I was moving from 12.1 to 12.4, but I'm not 100% sure of that. In the end, my solution was then to retrograde back to my previous driver. The steps mentioned in the previous paragraph has not helped at that time, not do a complete reinstall.

experience of 15 years, and that computer repair baffled me.

Please follow these steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

  • Cannot stop a task from running in the Task Manager. Windows 7 premium every time I have...

starting my computer and go to the desktop, I get a window that displays C; / ProgramFilesx86webarcade.  The specified module could not be found.  I tried to end the task in Task Manager, but it does not stop.  It always appears when I start my computer.  In the Task Manager when I check the box show processes from all users, I am able to complete the task.  If I do not check this box, I get denied accsess.  Someone please help me with this.

Thank you!  Thank you!  It worked!

  • Explorer Windows has stopped working. Same for the Task Manager.

I have Windows Vista and have had this computer for several years.

I tried to work on something yesterday and I found that all my Office 2007 programs would be would break immediately at the opening, while they were working fine a week ago (the last time we used them).  I ran the diagnostic program came not upward with anything and then installed a bunch of windows updates I received automatically.  When the computer restarts now, I get a window in the corner that says 'Custom settings', then a window appears and says that Windows Explorer has stopped working.  I can ctrl/alt/del and open Manager tasks, but when I try to do no matter what to whom, it also stops working.  I not to download anything so I really don't think it is a virus.

I can't open programs or menus, even if I think I can get a screen of command.  I ran all the tests in the installation disc and did not get any where or the other.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you

    Mike

I can show you a workaround until Microsoft fixes their problem.

As soon as you enter the office hit

1-CTRL/ALT/DEL to get into the Task Manager
    2. click on the tab Applications (top left corner)
    3. click the new button on the task (lower right corner)
    4. in the Open box, type explore and click the Enter key
5 do step 3 and 4 once more as quickly as possible

This should stop the process of recycling the error message

After stops in the process recycling, you can leave the Task Manager and minimize the Explorer window.  Also, you should be able to leave the Task Manager and windows Explorer now.  If this is not the case, just keep the Explorer minimized window.

You should now be able to use your computer as usual.

Let me know how it works for you.  If it works well, spread the word.
