  I recently reformatted a Satellite A105-S4274.

  I noticed today that my calendar sync has not worked for a week or two.   I wiped my handheld completely computer (settings / options-> Security-> General settings options-> push the menu button and choose "scrub Pocket")

  Restored from backup, and now the clock works again.

• Navigator shows sometimes false image

  Recently, I noticed that sometimes, Navigator shows a different/false image than what is in the main screen, both in the library module, as well as in the develop module.  At the same time, when this happens, the name of the file above the film is bad for the main image... but it is the correct file name for the image displayed in the browser.

  This does not happen always, but often.  If I click on the main image to enlarge, it does solve the problem.   I can 'fix' the problem if I move the cursor of the mouse on the correct image in the Filmstrip at the bottom of the screen.

  I can't say for sure, but I think that I started to see this happen when I started using HDR from LR.  It does not appear to happen more often with the HDR-. DNG files created with the HDR feature, but I also see it happen on other files (RAW files... have not really seen on jpg or TIFF, however, although I don't have too many of those).

  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

  Many people complained flaky behavior of the browser, since at least 4 LR.  Please add your vote and the details above to this bug report in the Adobe official feedback forum: Lightroom: Navigator photo evil poster preview pane.  It will be a bit more likely that Adobe could finally pay attention to the issue.

  I build and maintain a data warehouse and often use DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE for the loading of large amounts of data. I noticed that sometimes, especially when the size of my lot is large compared to the total number of rows in the segmented table, CREATE_CHUNKS_BY_ROWID creates a lot more than pieces that I would have expected, which most contain no data. For example, in a recent essay, I had 33K lines in the segmented table, and I specify a batch size of 10K. I expect about 4 pieces. I had 1002. All works fine, I'm just curious about these many (occasional) empty pieces. I always run a GATHER_STATS on the segmented table before DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE.

  Simplified: the ROWID is discontinuous.

  Hi, I noticed recently that my calendar events are not sync to my Apple Watch more.  The rest of the watch seems to be work/sync normally (mail, contacts, iMessages, etc.).

  I am running OS 2.2.2 and iOS 9.3.4 Watch on my iPhone 6 s.  So all the latest versions.  I've seen some suggestions online indicating I have to reset or re-pair the watch and phone.  But I also saw that it does not in all cases to solve the problem.  In addition, it seems like overkill, since everything works normally.

  I only use Apple Mail (iCloud) and there is nothing special about my calendar.  No Outlook or Exchange is involved.

  Someone else had this problem recently?  Any ideas how to fix?

  The following steps can help (check after each front to jump to the next):

  • For optimal performance of your watch, make sure that the Wi - Fi or Bluetooth connection are enabled on your iPhone (and keep them permanently active).
  • Restart your iPhone and your watch:

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  Since I bought my MacBook Air last spring, I had problems with calendar. I initially it synchronized with my Google Calendar. But after about a week I started to have a notice that says 'movement calendars to the server account' and everything freezes. I can only get out by stopping the calendar. Any advice?

  Thank you for being part of the community of Apple!

  Based on what you said, it seems that you may be having problems with the calendar app.  I have several calandars myself and know how it is important to keep them all in sync, but it works correctly.

  The first thing I recommend is to back up everything on the computer. Nothing that I will propose should result in no data loss, but it's always a good idea to have a backup.  Your computer has software called Time Machine.  It is a fantastic software for backing up your computer.  Information on how to use Time Machine is available here:

  Once you have a good backup, make sure that the computer is running the most recent version of Mac OS X.  The current version is 10.11.6.  You can check which version of the computer is running by clicking the Apple Logo in the upper left corner, then click on about this Mac.  The window that opens should say "OS X El Capitan" with the Version number below.  If it runs something that El Capitan, follow these instructions:

  Update of OS X El Capitan

  Retest the calendar app once OS X is updated to the latest version.  If the message does not appear, then you should be all set.  If the error message is returned, continue with the following steps.

  If the system is already running 10.11.6, and then do the following:

  1. Quit the application calendar.
  2. Go to the Apple Menu in the upper left corner of the screen.  Click on System Preferences > iCloud.  Uncheck the calendars and reminders.
  3. It will ask you "If you want to remove calendars and events reminder of your system. Click Yes. You should have an up-to-date copy of iCloud.
  4. Launch the application calendar. It should show is no longer the error message 'Moving of the calendars on behalf of the server.
  5. To add the iCloud return account to the calendar application, click Calendar > add account > iCloud.  Sign in with your Apple and the password.
  6. It can take a few minutes for the calendar day.

  This should keep the error message appears again.

  If you have deactivated plugins and plugin-container should not be executed. It's one of the reasons I suggested malware scans.

  The Windows XP Task Manager lists the processes running. It will list the plugin - container.exe but I don't think it goes further. IIRC a Sysinternals utility was required to get information on the processes associated with the plugincontainer.

  I upgraded to v. 21.0 and I noticed that sometimes (more often recently) parts of the browser interface is just off. If I move the mouse to the blank parts, some of them reappear, but some will not. Refresh the browser (close and open again) sometimes work and eliminates white sometimes it doesn't. There seems to be a conflict with something on my OS with this version of the browser.
