Sierra Messages App is forcing the use of the discrete GPU

Since the update of my mid 2015 15 "MacBook Pro to Sierra, Messages.app requires the use of the discrete GPU and kill my battery time.

All the world fell on this and if so, have you found a solution?

Here, even with a MacBook Pro in early 2011... problem seems to be based on the new 'features messages"that you can use in iOS 10.

From messages app, the internal GPU is used until I get a message with one of these new features to messages. Then the GPU will switch to the discrete GPU AMD and continues to work with him until I left messages app.

the problem is, when I create in the messages app a new account with my appl ID (for example on a new mac) I also use with my iphone, so everything worked very well for the starting point of creation.

Can't do.

iMessages are pushed by the iMessages servers to devices recorded at this time there.

They are not held on servers and are deleted as soon as receiving devices accept.

Messages app does not appear new conversations

Recently in a vain attempt to get Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to open files without complaining about permissions I tried to reset the permissions and a few other terminal-y things that I probably shouldn't have been messing around with.

After rebooting my computer, my Messages App went to the default view (no overview of conversation, abbreviation for each person within a circle) and was empty of all conversations. When a new iMessage would come to my phone, it wouldn't show up on the list. However once I started a new conversation with someone in the Messages application the conversation would be there (as well as messages between me and this person). When a conversation is present and the person texts/iMessages new messages appear and I am notified.

Any ideas?

App people linking the bad Skype account?

I put this question to the Skype support team, but they suggested that I come to Microsoft on this issue, I would be interested to know if anyone here can help.

Now, I know, Skype will create an automatic for you account name when you sign in with a Microsoft account. I got my Skype account, I then linked with my Microsoft account, so the two are now linked. He says in the Skype for the desktop application and the application Skype for Windows 8 - but the app people for Windows 8 displays the name of automatic account, because I have given.

I tried closing and restarting the app and I tried even restart my computer laptop, but for some reason some it does not display my account name Skype "good." only automatic account name. Then once my contacts have all good on the phone, I booted up my tablet of Windows 8 and installed the Windows store people, Mail, calendar, messaging app. After the opening of these applications, they have downloaded all the new information my accounts registered previously and properly linked contacts.

Then I reinstalled the soft people, Mail, calendar, messaging on my 8 Windows Media Center (which is what I did a restore of the system on the other night). He did NOT download the right contact linking information and started to give me the links randomly wrong once again! So I quickly uninstalled these apps to stop synchronization. Then I looked on my 810 Lumia again and fixed the small number of links contact who broke the glass 8 MCE.

Back on the Windows MCE 8, I ran disk cleanup to remove all temporary files and restarted for good measure. After that I tried to reinstall once again, people, Mail, calendar, messaging app that finally downloaded the right information links for my contacts!

iPhone app Messages incorrectly reports that the messages are not delivered

I send text messages with the Messages app on my iPhone. I've never had a problem until recently.

Recently, all of my text messages are marked by a red error message "not delivered". But the beneficiary is in fact receive these messages.

Looks like you are having some incorrect Messages notifications appear on your sent messages. Not too sure if recent changes have something to do with it, but I would check your message settings to check everything is in order, it. You can also take a look at the link below. How to have separate conversations w / the same person in messages app

Hey guys,.

is it possible to have several conversations with the same contact but different addresses in the messages (El Cap) application?

My problem: I have two conversation with the same person: I text him through iMessage using his e-mail and SMS (phone number, no iPhone) that appears in the application messages through continuity (or let do or what they call that). However, the iMessage cat and the cat of text message (which is separated on my iPhone) is mixed in a chat on the Mac (which is a mixture of blue and green bubbles). And when I type a message on the Mac it's a lottery if it will be sent as a text message or an iMessage. On the iPhone, it is clearly separate.

How can I have discussions in the messages.app on my Mac?

Problems using Messages app for you sign in to messenger FB

I used to use the messages app on my mac to chat on messenger FB. As you may know, we can do this by creating a jabber account in the messages application. However, for these past months, it has just stopped working and I'm basically impossible to connect to my jabber account (e-mail FB). Whenever I try to connect, he asks me to enter my password then it says that my username/password is incorrect.

Well, they are not bad I can use the same passage to connect to my FB and I checked my username on FB just to be safe.

I did everything possible to try to resolve this problem. Called apple care, went to the genius bar etc... None of them know what to do. 90% of them did not even know he xas actually gets set up an account jabber and cat by FB messaging directly from the messages app.

Basically, Facebook has closed their Jabber server (those with @facebook.chat.com IDs)

They were launched from a separate application for Macs and have a different game in place in login pages in a browser for the cat.

10. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appears. If you don't see it in about 15 minutes, the test probably won't be all within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved and you have to start over.

11. when the test is completed, or if you have stopped it because it was taking too long, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

I have an iphone 6s, and everything is up-to-date. I know that one of the new features is that you can see the photos when you use the message app but for some reason that I don't see anything. It just looks like old-school e-mail forever.
