• GPS "Signal search"

  Hello...

  I have had the DROID for about 3 months. About 5 weeks, the GPS began to stop randomly. No matter what application I am trying to use will not locate me - even a simple compass. I know other people with this phone and none of the questions. I've seen a few other discussions about this, but none really past the reset (as you can see below, I went).

  Try 1 - Phone - has come a troubleshooting, which ended in a recommendation to the battery on the phone to reset it. As I was on the phone, he had to wait... I did, and the GPS worked immediately.

  Try 2 - Store - representing battery out and of course, began to work again.

  Try 3 - Phone - representative said that there is no trace of this problem for my phone model, yet once ended with the recommendation to remove the battery.

  Try 4 - store - representative said that the setting "Use wireless networks" must NOT be checked, because interfering with the GPS (total bunk, but hey, I'll try anything).

  Try 5 - store - representative said that a factory reset would solve all the problems.  Not only did cause my phone to stop randomly over the next few days, but GPS still not yet (but the random shutdown problem was fixed when I took not so well placed battery and succeeded him safely).

  Try 6 - store - Advisor said that I probably have an application that "embarrassment" the capabilities of the phone GPS and recommended I have uninstall one by one to see which is malicious.  Just to be clear, this is a COMPLETE list of the applications on my phone right now: Advanced Task Killer, c: GEO, compass, GeoPointer, Pandora, and Radar.  I looked through the comments for these applications, there is announcement of the GPS issues.

  I certainly uninstalls, but what I need is a suggestion on what to do tomorrow, when it will probably happen again. All suggestions are welcome!

  Sarah, if you made a data factory reset and did not add any other third party apps before you test your phone after the FDR and you still have the anomaly, there is a problem with your droid.  -Dan

• acquisition of data from the old Spectra via GPIB Analyzer

  Hi, I got an old parser of Spectra (MS2601J, anritsu), I want to get through the GPIB measurement data. I downloaded the driver for MS2601B/K on the site, but it does not work. commands such as "INI" cannot be recognized. I tried the MAX for the finding aid. You can find it, but if I send the command ' * IDN?', no response will not returned. I checked the manual and sent the command "\r\n INI", there also was no answer. I'm new to labview and perhaps I wrong interpret these commands. Does anyone know the format of the MS2601 order and tell me how to get the data of the instrument by GPIB?

  Normally, you can select the scale X of the chart with the mouse and right click to disable the Auto scale or to access the properties.
  You can also type the range values you want directly on the displayed scale. For example, from 0,0 on the origin.

• Search for data in a 2d array and trigger a signal when it is recognized

  Hi, I'm looking for an interactive way to find data in a table that contains a 2d array in a cluster. Data in table 2d. I have attached the vi containing the table. I want an interactive method to search for the codes of the 2d table (found in the 1st row) and once found a signal to say it was found. The signal varies in what category data code has been found (if engineering, law or other). BTW the I'm looking are in fact data entry using a barcode reader. Use a table 1 d search function? or is there another method?

  Just to make sure that we are clear here.  We try to find the cluster that contains a point of data in the first row of the table 2D?

  IVe had my iphone 6 during almost 2 years and recently it just started constantly looking for signal.

  Things I did to try to fix it myself;

  -Reset my phone 10 + times

  -held power and the "home" button to reset 10 + times

  -Reset network settings

  -Went to my service provider and have obtained a new SIM card

  This news is always looking for signal

  -Put my SIM in another phone... I have full signal bars

  ... Is this a hardware problem, the device itself?

• How can I make Windows Media Center play 21-2 (CBS)? He gets full signal on the search, but does not play.

  I don't know what the reason for this problem, but I know there are across the country, in other markets, with WMC did not play all of the signals that it recognizes, even when they are large network signals OTA.

  I hope anyone in the DFW area, has experienced this problem and know the exact fix so I can view the CBS programming, for which I seem to have perfect signal, but can not get of WMC to play.

  I checked with a contact at Microsoft, and they suggested to try another
  tuner. (If it were me, I'd buy one from a vendor with a massive return of rock
  policy).  The list of compatible tuners is

• The music does not open even when no signal.

  I have a spotty cell service where I live. When at work and I am in one of these areas of service not, my music even will not open. I saved music to play offline, but the screen is not yet open. (If I'm in a 'dead zone') no cell signal) does not even open the music.  It searches only. I can't open until I again service.

  Really? Argh! It will be a nightmare when I travel through the mountains of Colorado.  Looks like I'll be getting my Nano out of retirement.

  My MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012 running 10.11.6) struggled to connect to my Drobo Mini - from the first day of the purchase of the Drobo Mini in February. Sometimes it connects, sometimes not. I worked with the support of Drobo, who went so far as to send me a replacement, but still no luck.   At startup, the reader sends a signal to the adage of "I'm here, let's connect." computer Or, the computer continually detects when a device connects. Whatever it is, a device or another is dropping the ball.

• The most convenient airport or TimeCapsule blocks google search

  I think that there is a virus or some kind of my network home preventing me from Google search.  It seems to work without a problem when I use use Wifi Hotspot through Verizon LTE, but through comcast cable, it does not load.  I had Comcast service person come and check the signal and until the TimeCapsule is loading and fine.  When it reset the modem and the TimeCapsule it worked for a minute or two, but then the problem comes back.  It has been almost a week to have this problem.

  -Does anyone know how to fix this?

  Last Comcast guy says to TimeCapsule is nine years old.  and the problem from there.

  What version of firmware is installed in your Time Capsule? For information, launch the AirPort Utility (it's in your Mac utilities folder) and select (click on) the time Capsule. His version of firmware is adjacent to the versionof word.

• What is the difference b/w Google search Mozilla Start Page and search bar?

  Hi Marc, it won't make a difference if search you from the home page or the search bar - both use the same default search provider.

• Airport Time Capsule: Suspected of weak signal

  Hello

  I have 3 Apple wireless devices all. The main router is the ATV, followed of an Airport Extreme, extending the network and a former Airport Express, also the extension of the network. Briefly, it is a three-storey house, on the first floor of which is a daylight basement (windows and doors on three sides), then the second and third floor (all wood of the frame).

  I'm almost completely Mac/Apple-centric (my son except for the PC game), there are 6 Mac (PPC and Intel) and 4 iPhones on the printers network every day, matching, smart TVs and casual with a device visitors or 2. Generally, there is no connection problem apart from the complaints unfounded. There are a variety of El Capitan, Yosemite, Leopard, OS 9.2.1 and iOS operating systems. Computers are my MBP to 2008, two MacBooks circa 2010, 1 iMac (circa 2010), 1 lime iMac 400 has PPC G4 MDD and iPhones - 5s and 6s (2 of each).

  I studied this weak signal suspected by the search for possible answers on the internet, try to use various applications to diagnosis Wi - Fi and browse the various parameters of the airport. I was not able to "find" a smoking gun or even a reason suspected for the signal is so poor. "So poor" refers to my dissatisfaction with our signal coverage - my expectation!  It is perhaps as good as it gets and I have too wait.

  The layout has my ATC in my office, ground floor, the west wall of the House and approximately 4 ft above the ground. The AExt (from ATC) is through an open door and a flight of stairs and on the ramp (half wall). If you stretched a string directly between ATC and AExt would be 16' - 20'. The AExp bounced around, but currently it is in our gym, which is part of the structure of individual garage. The AExp is approximately 45 ' - 50' of the AExt and 65' or from the base (ATC). My goal is to explain the variety of signals.

  I'm not the most scientific. To drive off the coast, I don't understand why there are 4 WiFi signals reported. 2-5 Ghz and 2 to 2.4 Ghz. "The only basis ' creating a wireless network" is the ATC, the other two are "the extension of the network. There are 2 reported BSSIDs and I forgot how to determine who is what hdwr.

  Walk with a MB and it is Wireless Diagnostics app, it seems, most of the signal issues are explainable. One unexplained is when I get out the MB to the gym, the signal "through the roof" - it probably doubles in strength, and that's where the Express is maybe 60' of ATC. Sounds good, but why, when I go back to ATC, the fact the signal drop in half. I want to Express signal overall. I guess the Express to be the weak link, but of course does not appear like this. My main computer, the MBP, sits 15' and at glance of ATC and gets that weak signals - I guess that it could be the Airport card in the MBP, but I'd like to think not, that I have no way to test it. I'm sure that all this has to do with the 4 signals being broadcast and the differences between networks 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz.

  So, why is my best farthest signal from the router (ATC) and why is it the MBP of low signal (MB too), the nearest router. Oh, I have no neighbors to 500' or more. Sorry for writing a book.

  When you extend a wireless AirPort network using intermediate connections wireless base stations, it is important to understand how fundamentally. So please forgive me if I go to the places you already know.

  Extended wireless airport works wheel - as with the base station extend over the hub of the wheel. Each of them extending base stations would be on a spoke of the wheel. With the new 802.11ac 802.11n base stations, you can not extend linearly. For example, in your game both the extreme and the Express would be on another spoke in the wheel, step along the same spoke. Make sense?

  That said, the station of further base your Express, would have a harder time getting a signal strong enough to expand it, while extreme may not have this problem. Basically, this would explain the gap between the quality of the signal between these two base stations.

  By default, each of your simultaneous dual band base stations provide actually two wireless networks; one on the 2.4 and the other on the 5 GHz bands. Base stations extending each of these repeat if they are in the range. Note that the higher frequency band (5 GHz) would have a harder time penetrating objects, such as walls, ceilings, etc. and it is basically only usable in the same room. I'm guessing what to do in distance between base stations, the extreme is able to expand both networks, but the Express (especially, if it is a model of generation 802.11n 1) extend one or the other.

  For routers to Apple, the BSSID is the MAC address wireless base station itself.

  To each base station that spread, the level of the signal from the base station can be high, but real bandwidth of the signal will be the same as what he receives in this place.   Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

• iPhone 4 continues the search for carrier

  Recently, I set my iPhone 4. And the iPhone keeps searching for service or signal or what they called it. I tried just like update my carrier setting, reset the network settings, turn on and outside airplane mode and even restore the phone. The most funny thing is always successfully can I activate my phone without going through signals. It certainly isn't because of the sim card because it works for my 5s. Any help?

  The 4 and the 5 s using different size SIM cards physically. You cannot use the nano-SIM of a 5 by 4, which uses a micro-SIM card.

  Also, what did you recently to "fix" your iPhone 4?
