  Hi Ansari07,

  I don't think that this level of control is possible with the AKD. The reader is supposed to close its own current loop on board for the control of switching and outputs of phase. The AKD offer couple, speed or modes of control position, and you can talk to it by Ethernet on the service port, via a field such as EtherCAT or CANOpen bus, or with an analogue signal +-10V or step/dir commands.

  I don't think you can get around all of the internal firmware in the AKD and get direct control of how current passes through the phases.

  Now, the thing is customer want to transfer/migrate their client access licenses Server and Terminal Server CALs for Server 2003 to 2012 server.

  But is it possible to transfer/migration of CALs client Server 2003 to 2012?

  May I suggest Windows server 2003 to install as a virtual operating system in Hyper-V
  to use their existing CAL?

  And is it as additional permit is required to use Server 2003
  Hyper-V?

• Clarification, pls. Any use of the SD card before update?

  Please do not use this as a cause of ranting, etc, but I need a simple clarification that I can't find clearly in any of the threads SD.

  If I understand correctly, an SD card is completely unusable now. For example, the files cannot be transferred here via a program such as Quick Office.

  the digital and print values are different.

  pages scanned copy 65 - this means that 65 pages have been executed by the scanner with someone using the copy function. the report shows 66 printed pages 'copy' which means 64 of these copies were only a single copy and 1 scan someone made 2 copies - which gives you a total of 66 pages printed from the copy function.

  pages scanned to accommodate 86 = that means 86 pages were executed by the scanner with a person who uses the "scan to network folder" or "scan to computer" function

  That's a total of total of 151 pages run through your scanner. only 2 values that you add to the scanner are the "copy" and «scan to host» numbers copy of 65 + 86 scan-to-host ='s 151 total scans

  total impressions are 829. pages printed from copy fuction are 66 - if you subtract 66 829 that gives you the number of pages that have been printed from a computer = 763

  763 pages printed computer + 66 pages printed using the copy function = 829 total number of pages printed

  Background: following a fresh install of Windows 7 on a new hard drive, the DVD drive in my laptop (Dell XPS M1730) was not visible. I bought the laptop computer with an earlier version of windows, and everything worked normally until the original hard drive crashed. When the DVD was not recognized after the clean install, I assumed at first it was a hardware problem and bought and installed a new DVD player. This does not resolve the issue. The DVD player itself performs a power upward when the system is turned on. It opens and closes normally.   Question: I am unable to follow the steps in resolution 4 as written. Step 3 says "In Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on CD and DVD devices and then click Surdesinstaller." My Device Manager does not a selection of ' readers CD-ROM/DVD-ROM ", I'm looking for clarification on the procedure of resolution 4 update or reinstall the driver.

  After leaving open the Device Manager and the laptop unattended for an extended period (over an hour), I returned to find a pop up advising me that the DVD device driver has been installed, and a selection of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM had been added in the Device Manager. The DVD is now visible.

• Clarification of Nexus VPC

  After a recent deployment of the switch, I see some very strange transmission problems layer 2.  I'm not sure if this is related to a problem of configuration on my part.  I would like clarification on the VPC, and I hope you can help me.

  It is my understanding that when you have a series of double-sided VPC between, say, a pair of N7700 and several pairs of Nexus 9 K or K 5 switches, that all the field of VPC ID must be different.  However, a contractor told me that each number VPC - associated with the uplink of etherchannel to the Nexus 7Ks - must also be unique.  A graph that shows my dilemma is attached.

  What you show, it's perfectible acceptable. The two areas of vPC in the Nexus 9000 layer, domain of the vPC 117 and 118 in your diagram, have no knowledge of the other, and so the same vPC and port channel number can be used.

  Hi all

  I'm looking for a little clarification regarding Zonebased Firewalls (Cisco 1921)

  I have a ZBF with a number of internal areas, non of these will need to talk about them, I have an uplink to a router upstream provider that provides return services to our data center for remote sites. Am I right in thinking that I need to set up the interface between the ZBF and the router of the provider in its own area?

  Customers will access services back in our data center, but they will have to go through this WAN area.

  I hope this makes sense, I think I'm on the right track, any help would be appreciated.

  When you configure ZBF there are a few rules:

  security zone = interface / interfaces.

  Data between two security zones created is droped by default

  So you need to add interfaces in areas, create pairs of area (that make sense) and assign a policy to this area-pair, in politics, you select (using the class-maps) shiuld traffic that you want to browse your device and check its status.

  Example configuration for your scenario:

  IN security zone
  OUT area security

  interface item in gi1 (inside interface)
  Security IN members area
  int Gi2
  security to OUT-members area

  type of class-card inspect OUT_CM IN match-everything (this traffic we want to enable)
  use any desired match criterion (addresses, protocols, ports, DSCP, etc.)
  !
  policy-card type check IN OUT_PM
  class type check IN OUT_CM
  inspect

  (inspect means that an answers for your sessions will be allowed to return)
    
  IN source zone destination pair IN security - OUT OUT

  You can use many classes in a single policy map, the main point is that you must use the same type (inspect, according to ZBF)

  If you have several internal areas, you must write several pairs of zecurity, and if you lazy enough-use even political in each zone-pair, or use of individual policy for each zone-pair.

• Need a Clarification on the installed component and run Simulator Configuration

  I need clarification on what the plugin Eclipse is telling me. There are two parameters that are confusing me. For components installed (found under preferences/Window/BlackBerry JDE/Installed Components), I have a choice of 5.0.0 4.7.0,4.6.1, 4.6.0 4.5.0 and 4.3.0.

  Depending on which component I select when I go in the tab Configurations.../Simulator/course walk, I see a different mix of devices.  In all cases, there is a default Simulator.

  Initially, I assumed that each JDE component supports a mixture of different devices, and that is it compiled correctly, I would be assured that the app would work for all devices on the tab run Simulator Configuration.  In my tests, I found theopposite.  I also assume that, for each component of the JDE, there is a 'default' Simulator that was representative of all devices in the drop-down list run Configuration Simulator.  In my tests, am not sure what actually represents the Simulator 'by default'.

  Can someone clarify how to JDE and Configuration simulators run installed interact and a developer show how to ensure that their application is running on a mix of devices?

  When I finally get to the point where I am ready to deliver, what are the points of decision of installation?  Is it enough to simply require a specific version of an operating system (for example 4.7?) or do I have to create a grid and check the two model number and version of the operating system?

• Clarification of the policy of startup SAN

  I would like clarification on the policy of SAN Boot. I was always under the impression that you were supposed to use the storage port WWPN. But what happens if you have many ports of storage from the table (16 for example), this is not possible.

  The purpose of this policy is to simply force the HBA to open a session in the SAN fabric?

  If Yes, can I use one of my real picture or just make one, correct?

  Since all zoning is done by the SAN switch (Brocade/MDS/Nexus) and LUN masking to the level of the table, I think putting the real WWPN to a storage port is not necessary.

  Yes, a 'false' WWPN will work and they connect to the SAN infrastructure... Photos attached show 2 ways to do this... However, if you install Windows 2012/Hyper-V, I suggest using WWPN valid because it seems not to be able to manage multiple ESX possible access paths when you first install...

  I looked through the forums enough to know that MSD is VERY picky about the version of Java installed on the local computer used to access the control of conference center.

  Is there a definitive guide to which versions of Java work with which versions of TMS or how many installations of Java could affect this delicate balance? We got hell keeping Java Update while ensuring that we are able to access MSDS. In addition, in your personal experiences, which browsers you find work best with TMs?

  We run TMS 13.2.1 and usually access the CCC of machines Windows 7 x 64. Any clarification/help would be much appreciated.
