  • Is it possible to temporarily switch to silent mode to blackBerry smartphones?

Previously - in my Nokia - I had the opportunity to spend my phone to silent for a period of time of my choice. After that, the phone would go back to normal. The advantage of this was that I could never forget return to normal. For example, at the beginning of a meeting with an estimate of the duration of 2 hours, I program the phone to a silent period and after that he would go back to normal in two hours. It was so convenient. Is it possible to my BlackBerry 9000?

This isn't a standard option on BlackBerry devices, however, there are applications that can do it without input.  As long as you enter the time in your calendar, you can configure it so that it changes automatically profiles according to the needs.

An application that you can try to check is called ProfilerPro: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/4048

Take a look at this and see if it would work for your needs.

  • Silent mode Z10 blackBerry works do not (Z10)

Has anyone noticed that when you set the phone on 'Silent Mode' calls and message tones are still coming across as in Normal mode? It's like the Silent Mode and Normal mode are the same. In addition, mode silent, the sound button is gray. I have downloaded the latest update to Os and tried to restart but not luck. Any advice on that?

-All right, in this case, you can simply to be dealing with an upgrade that do not 100% as it should. Out of curiosity, the vibrate mode working correctly?

While I really hate to recommend, if it is an important feature to you, it may be worth your while to back up your device using the BlackBerry link and reload the software on the device (if it can wait, you can still see capture being I don't know when the next update is coming if the next update fixes things for you...). To do this, follow the instructions in the link below:

If you have any problems, post because I know that I had some initial problems doing myself.

On my android I could put my phone in silent mode without going into the settings by pressing the power button and clicking on silent mode. So, how can I put the Z30 in silent mode without going in the settings.

If your last setting was silent, only touch the bell icon will toggle between Normal and silent.

  • Priv SmartKey WHEAT peripheral Mode support blackBerry Smartphones is locked as Hervé?

    Hello

You want to buy a Priv for various reasons, including the physical (and mythical) keyboard BB, but would like to know if it will work with my Frédérique Weiser Lock.  If I'm not mistaken, this requires not only Bluetooth Low Energy support (which is confirmed on the technical page), but a specific subset called 'Device Mode' a number of not supporting handset manufacturers NOT despite claiming the WHEAT support.

So, I would just confirmation on it if possible.

    Thank you!

Just confirmed with a colleague who has a karim that he has no problem with PRIV.

    I hope this helps

Updated October 17, 2016; Frédérique site does not list PRIVATE as a compatible device. While the app and lock may work with still PRIVATE, please send any questions about devices supported for Frédérique.

  • Landscape keyboard in Mode for blackBerry Smartphones has all the keys!

Really panicking here. Updated my sys to 4.7.0.75 software, and now my keyboard in landscape mode has all the keys. The keyboard looks like a hybrid of the full qwerty and suretype keyboard view portrait, with two letters in a single touch. Some keys have letters on them.

In addition, portrait view multitap keyboard has all the keys. There are exactly eight keys with letters attributed to them. Areas where there would normally be keys and letters are empty.  View portrait suretype keyboard works perfectly fine.

I don't know how it happened. Someone at - he lived the same problem? Anyone got a fix?

Remove the battery for 15 seconds, then replace them.

  • Airplane mode on blackBerry Smartphones?

The storm has a flight mode, which disables all wireless features, but allows other applications on the phone to use on commercial flights?  For example, I would like to be able to read the emails I had received and even prepare responses that would be sent once I left the airplane mode.

Yes, there is a connection manager. You go there and you can turn on or off the Mobile network and the Bluetooth.

  • Mode for blackBerry Smartphones Bypass in case - Storm2

Is there a way to bypass mode 'sleep' so that in the case? I use it like a vent riding in my car; It's the only thing I use this holser for and I know that he uses a lot of battery. He will be in a charger while I drive. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

There is not a way through the operating system.

    Two options:

    1. remove the magnets from the case (use a paper clip to determine where they are located) or get a Holster without the magnets of the sleeper.

2 see the BBLight application, which will keep the device on. I don't remember exactly, but I think that it will work even in the case.

Nevertheless, in the case, your always adjustable device for you inform messages, etc..

  • Silent calls of blackBerry Smartphones

I keep having a problem where my calls go silent. I don't hear the person I'm talking about or what they cannot hear me? I keep pressing in mute or something? Any idea what the problem might be? The phone is bad?

It could be as simple as your face hitting the mute button while you are in a call.

She held on an angle, away from your face, would be the first step to correct.

Let us know if this is the problem.

  • Want 'Real' Sleep Mode to blackBerry Smartphones back!

I read about 30 posts on this topic and person not seems to answer that question on the recently revised change change "standby key button / mute.  I don't no case my 9700, so a TRUE sleep button is very useful.  Some positions indicate that the lock button (left button of the upper part of the appliance) keys is the same as the day before.  IT IS NOT THE SAME THING!  Keyboard lock has Nothing to do with placing the phone in a lower power state.  With that, does anyone know if it is a button or a process to put the phone in real (other than by phone Holster) standby mode?

Thanks in advance for all messages that are relevant and useful

Where do you find the idea that 'pending' was less "power status" the keyboard lock?  Indeed, they are basically the same thing just moved to another button and a new wording.

There is no button or process to bring back "sleep" on a 9700 without degradation of the OS to a previous version.

  • Emails & SMS mode impossible blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I am faced with this particular problem with my 9700 for the last two days or more.

    I followed three email accounts configured with my camera;

    (1) Enterprise / Office Mail ID (folder named as desktop computer)

    (2) yahoo Mail ID (folder named like Yahoo)

    (3) ID (folder named like GMail) GMail

Now in the Messages, the Yahoo & records SMS; I am only able to view the emails from desktop e-mail id. The Messages folder which conveniently include messages from all folders displays only messages from the office. Similarly for the Yahoo folder. I'm not even able to see my SMS SMS & MMS folder.

Pls help me to solve this issue.

After looking around for solutions, these issues have been resolved by a soft reboot.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not able to get my phone to work unless in safe mode

There are two problems I see. Yesterday, I've updated througn Office of BB online. I have now deleted the BB 7.1.0 CoreApplications four times. When I start my phone one of the two things happening. I can enter my password, but when I hit the key enter the phone crashes and will only go to safe mode. The second thing that happens is it accepts my password, but immediately the following message - Eception Exception: Java.Lang.Error there is an option to click OK but when I get my BB freezes. I have installed and uninstalled all languages twice, I restarted a dozen times or more, I reinstalled a version more ancient dating back months and not seen no change to these questions. I can work the phone in safe mode, but this isn't a solution. I find this very frustrating. I would also like to be able to talk to a human being on this subject but can't find a number on your website. A WTF happening? I'm about to launch this phone in the tray and get an IPhone!

Hello and welcome to the community!

I think that you may need to perform a clean reload OS... from your post, I can't quite tell if you did that.

Please visit this official download portal as you go along. If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. After installing the operating system on your PC package, please remember to remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Please refer to this information, which is at the top of each page on this site:

Contractually, BlackBerry cannot provide any support from first line for nothing. All support first line begins with mobile service providers, to the place of origin of purchase or an authorized service center (it varies according to the region and the specific question). When you bought your device and the services, you should have been informed about your methods of formal support... If you weren't, you need to check your place of origin of purchase or your service provider mobile as to what those who are for you.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Message from blackBerry Smartphones: MTP Device Mode is enabled on

I just did a hard reset (remove battery) on my Storm2 9550.  When it finished start, I started the Desktop software and connected the phone via the USB port.  I received the following message:

This Blackberry device using a connection of the PSG.  Some features of media for your device mass storage mode, which interrupts all active media transfer protocol (MTP) connections.  You want to mass storage mode?

I don't know exactly what that means or if I should answer 'Yes' or 'no '.  (I had a bit of luck you are looking for this particular online message).

The BlackBerry Storm smartphone can connect to a computer in one of the following ways:

    • USB mass storage mode
    • Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)

MTP allows a BlackBerry smartphone user transfer media files between a computer and a BlackBerry smartphone and provides support for multimedia files that have specific requirements, such as restrictions associated with the management of digital rights (DRM) technologies.

A BlackBerry smartphone appears as a Portable device in my computer when connected to the computer using the PSG. It does not appear in the devices with removable storage section and has not assigned a drive letter.
