If you get only your homepage, it worked. You should probably do the same for your other browsers.

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then take a critical look on the list on the right and, in case of doubt, disable (or delete).

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
