Is there any solution for this?

You, of course, took umbrage to my last post. For that I apologize, there was no pejorative intention. I am a newbie in the forums and am digging my way along. I have marked your answers answers by mistake, I'll try to fix this.
I solved the problem, I tried to open files in the Qcad application by clicking on the list of recently used files. It will not work in a new session.
    The correct procedure is:-
Open click, Qcad - click file - open (this opens the index page of Qcad from the saved files) - click the required file - click Open.
There is no problem, with the exception of this incompetence of users.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

  • Vista does not recognize the previous Windows forms (2003) and Excel spreadsheets. Is there any solution for this?

Vista does not accept Windows 2003 documents and spreadsheets - is there a solution?

    Hi wavedave,.

By 2003 documents and spreadsheets are you referring to Microsoft Office 2003? Vista is not a copy of Microsoft Office as part of the operating system; You can buy a copy of Microsoft Office. However, if it is simply a case of you is not not able to read (to create, you will need a copy of Microsoft Office) there is still rlevant application "Viewer Office." You need a viewer for each application, but, basically, it allows you to 'see' the documents word, excel etc. documents without having a copy of Microsoft Office on your system. As I said, you can "show" them if you need to change or create excel spreadsheets or word documents, you must purchase a copy of office.

See this link for more information on the viewers of rleevant: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloads/office-online-file-converters-and-viewers-HA001044981.aspx

  • 8.1 for Windows and Firefox 36.0.1 the text in the forms box has no carriage return. Earlier versions, as forms of work. Is there any solution for this?

Before this version of Firefox 36.0.1, the < textarea > HTML worked in my forms. View Cart returns. In the version of 36.0.1 that they no longer work correctly. However, when I enter a carriage return, it displays a space instead of a line break. I went to test basic textarea
    < textarea > name = cols 'comments' = 20 rows = 10 < / textarea >
to make sure that I was not introducing anything with other languages.
I use Windows Pro 8.1. I drove back to 35.0 Firefox and everything works fine. I installed 36.0.1 and it stops working.
I have access to another laptop also running the same version of windows and Firefox and it seems to be done as well strange things. I'm suspicious because I started to notice this immediately after a windows update last night. The laptop also known issues that he immediately after a windows update last night.
I still have another computer running a different version of windows and Firefox and it works very well. It seems that the issue is where there are windows Pro 8.1 and Firefox 36.0.1.
Guys do you have an idea what is happening here?
    Thank you

The current version supports the white-space for a text box property and it is possible that the Web site uses spaces: pre instead of spaces: pre wrap.
The former will prevent Firefox of text wrapping.

You can check that out in the Inspector via the context menu.

    See:

The white-space property is currently working on HTML < textarea > (bug 82711) elements.

  • Since version 18.0.0, Firefox regularly replace some parts of my screen when it is enlarged but not active (Outlook or Word); is there any solution for this?

Any time I can get Firefox enlarged but not active (so it is behind another active window / application) on Windows XP Pro SP3, it regularly replace significant portions of my screen. If I move the mouse, type, scroll up/down or anything to change the screen, the active application is slowly starting to appear. For example, in Office 2007, when this happens, I can continue typing a sentence in Word or Outlook and this line is displayed, but the rest of the message area displays remnants of Firefox. If I move the mouse along the Ribbon of Office, it will be displayed in pieces are the reached mouse. This problem has been held regularly since the version 18.0.0 and persists in 18.0.1. I prefer not to minimize Firefox so I can move conveniently via Alt - Tab from Firefox and the other application, in that I work, but this problem that is almost impossible. FYI, when I'm in Firefox, no other pop application on top, not other applications show otherwise, so I know that the problem is caused by Firefox and/or interaction weird with the new version and installed plugins, drivers or other software.

Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? (I have trouble determining your "more system information" if it is enabled or disabled). As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?

  • Whenever I print a page of Firefox (since the upgrade to the beta version), it is confusing and difficult to read. Is there any solution for this?

I tried to print from pop ups (permissions of insurance) and just an impression of the current web page and they all come out pell-mell upward. All the data on the page but is not in the necessary format. It is used to print in the same layout as what I saw on my monitor and now it isn't. Not at all.

  • Since the upgrade to El Capitan, Lightroom crashes after sleep and requires Force Quit. Is there any solution for this?

It happens constantly and is extremely frustrating. Everyone knows this or does anyone know a fix?  I use an Imac, retina 5K to 27 in late 2015.

    Thanks in advance.

Disconnect all your external drives, then check if blocking is occurring always. El capitan has made some changes that actually a bit lazy with reassembly of external hard drives after reactivation, and it's a good idea to check if the cause of your problem is the external drives. If this does not prevent blocking problems, you can reset your Lightroom preferences files. See here: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

my computer and the internet is loading and running slow

    Hi Charlesdurbin,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

If I understand correctly you have a performance issue with your computer and the Internet.

He would be grateful if you can answer these questions to help you further.

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    2. what version of Internet Explorer you are using, if you are using Internet Explorer?
    3. is it limited while accessing a particular application?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Optimize Windows 7 for better performance: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Optimize-Windows-7-for-better-performance

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again, the data files that are infected can be cleaned by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:

I suggest you perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

Clean boot will check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: Once the diagnosis has been made, make sure that you try to step 7 of the article to reset the computer as usual

  • Very slow start and run for Dell Inspiron 6400 XP times

"I have a problem with an Inspiron 6400 brought to ' horribly slow start and run time.  XP Pro 32 bit SP3 patched up to date.  Cleaned up a lot of "undesirable", as the partially uninstalled programs, cleaned the files temporary etc. with CCleaner, cleaned and optimized the registry afer all the cleaning has been done, defragmented, tried to start without any of the boot files, disabled all unnecessary services and uninstalled virus checking software, (but ran several anti-virus controls) etc. - no help.   Safe Start Mode is faster, but... not at all normal - 1 1/2 minutes of screen to logon instead of close to 3 minutes.  A lot of memory (2 GB), which rises to 600 to 700 MB runnng all the stuff I've tried.  Hard drive is 1/3 used out of 120 GB with a 2 GB swap file.

One thing I'm still scratching my head over - beyond the horribly slow boot - is very slow access to files even though everything seems to work normally, but as molasses in January.  Looking at the performance of the Task Manager tab when I run a copy of a file (whether via a cmd window or with Windows Explorer), I see a near max processor would be and the other with a small business.  Even if the customer says he had been getting worse for some time, after checking and cleaning of all things 'normal', my next thought was perhaps a bad disk or disk controller driver, but chkdsk ran very well (although it took hours) even if I ' d I have already updated all drivers (and even the DVD firmware and BIOS) on the Dell web site.  Oh, and I ran Dell Diagnostics (from bootable CD) updates all with no errors found.  And access to the slow file even with symptoms had max-processor occur with a copy of the file on a USB key that seems to eliminiate the hard disk, the disk controller and the pilot.

The other interesting part of the display for a file copy task manager is that the processes tab simply shows System Idle 97 to 99%, with a percentage of casual for other processes as Explorer while I see 1 max out procesor on the performance tab.  That the same copy on your desktop shows 3-4% of the CPU usage and who is with active antivirus software.  I'm almost ready to fall toward a Windows reinstall, but would like to find the real reason behind this problem of puzzle...

It of almost as if he's using PIO instead of DMA disk access, but... don't know how/where to test this.

    Look at:
    and

Solved!   Thanks for the links, especially to each other.  An old but still a goodie!

For those who have enquring spirits (and anyone else who stumbles across this thread), the primary IDE controller has been set to PIO and locked it.  Who would have thought that Windows slowly reduced the transfer speed, whenever he saw 6 errors on an IDE device until it has been reduced to PIO and then he locked it?  But the procedures described in the link of winhlp.com showed how to solve the problem.

There are actually several problems that led to the final symptoms.  According to KB817472, the Atapi.sys has been improved in XP SP2 only degrade the speed of transfer on 6 consecutive errors instead of 6 cumulative errors.  And even though everything I have (Microsoft update) was seen and showed that this area was to SP3, I found that the driver for the controller layer IDE was the SP2 version.  Someone ran sfc previously perhaps?

Oh, and I know now that the Task Manager process tab does not time processor kernal, but the performance tab.  Good to know...

Thanks again to all who have responded.  Starting at the time of connection-question now is 40 seconds.   You'll love Untra DMA mode 5.   There is still a lingering question in my mind, since I've had the same symptoms of slow copy of a file on a flash drive.  Perhaps a link in some way to the way that Windows treats a flashdrive as a "drive"...

  • Slideshows are very slow loading and sometimes cling to images?

I had a problem with slideshow not loading or getting hung up on images. I tried it on several computers and having the same problem on all of them, I optimized my images for the web and no image is longer then 1.5 MB. I don't know what to do at this point.

    www.raswimmers.com

    A few tips:

    (1) avoid using system fonts.

Your main menu and perhaps other text blocks, use system fonts. When a system font is used the block of text is converted to an image. This result in a request to the server by the text block, which slows down the loading of the page. If possible, use a Web font. If the edge of the Web fonts do not include a suitable font, then consider using a font 'Web Safe'. Only as a last resort, use a system font.

    (2) when a masked image is on a solid background, Cook the solid background in the image. This will make the opaque image that would be encoded as JPEG rather then PNG. For a photographic image, JPEG is generally 1/5th the size of the transparent PNG original without significant reduction in the quality of the image.

    (3) for the images of the full slide show screen, use enregistrer to save for Web in Photoshop, then select setting the lowest quality and compact size you can tolerate in terms of image quality. Your images are 2048 on the long side and about 'high' quality JPEG. You can consider if 'Medium' is tolerable. It's always a compromise of image quality performance and page load.

1.5 MB for a single image is a bit. In general, a good goal for an entire web page is to aim for 2-3 MB in total. Average U.S. broadband speed is equivalent to about 900 k per second downloads with the average is higher on the sides and lower the Central US. Thus, a single 1.5 image will take a few seconds to download.

In the case of a slideshow Muse will load the image with the page, and then load the other images in the background after the page loaded, so in general, you can just have images in a slide show beyond the data total guideline of 2-3 MB.

If you encounter a case where a slide show is at a standstill, please send us the URL of the page so that we can investigate.

  • If FF 39.0 on a new PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 bits - in the sidebar search results bBookmarks are slow - is new facility there a solution for this?

Recently I've just set up a new PC with Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) as the operating system. I just imported bookmarks from my PC in one. HTML file, I created from my old PC. Now whenever I type a search term in the search box to refine my search for one of my favorites of many, sometimes even by typing in the term search begins to lag while I'm typing more letters. Search term/terms once entered, it seems to take 15-20 seconds before the results list appears. This used to be almost instantaneous in this same version of FF (39.0) on my old PC 64 bit of Windows 7 (Home Premium) to bring up the results. I already tried to install the add-on called "signed 1.3.1 - 0 maintenance of the premises and this time there really doesn't make any difference that it helped when I got FF 38.0.5 on my old PC to Win 7 64-bit." Can it still be addressed. Please update as soon as POSSIBLE with the solution.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the < shift >
