Since the upgrade to you Bird 45.5.1am cannot access the calendar. Don't have re-installed lightning but no tabs or menu items added. Have restarted you bird &; PC reboot.
Since the last update to Thunderbird 45.5.1 cannot access the calendar (where I hope to recover all my appointment with the doctor for 2017). Have reinstalled Lightning (then restarted you bird, & also tried a reboot of the PC) and although if I have Add-ons Manager access it allows me to disable or remove 4.7.4 Lightning there is no way to access the calendar - there are no tabs, menus or extra sidebars. Also tried different keyboard shortcuts, F11, ctrl-shift-C that does not receive me in two. Any help would be appreciated / thank you
Resolved in the clear light of day and with my newly saved profile, I used the delete option in the Add-ons Manager to uninstall the lightning. After the reboot of you bird I have re-ran then install Lightning of the Add-ons Manager. That worked and found my old calendar events as well - if all is good now.
Hope this info helps someone else who has the same problem.

Windows 7, since the recent updates I have problems with the browser IE Office
Windows 7, since the recent update computer slow. Right-click Office nothing. Yahoo email try to attach the attachment will not do but Chrome browser without problems. Also when you go to setting > Security > delete the browser history, the box that appears at the bottom of the screen asking you to confirm the deletion does not appear. In addition computer is overall slow with IE. First I ran my Trend Micro... nothing, McAfee Stinger nothing, then symantec, microsoft difficulty programs nothing. can you advise, that these problems are your last updated?

For years, I used iPhoto to edit my image - sharpness, contrast, highlights/shadows, Lighten/Darken points. Since the update to OSX 10.11, iPhoto has disappeared, replaced by pictures, which seems to have very little editing tools. I am disgusted. What are the options should I now? A friend suggested using Adobe Lightroom.

I just dragged the new LR icon from the control panel CC. Updated the catalog, and then remove the old icon of LR.

Upgrade from Windows XP to W7 nothing but problems.
I recently bought and installed windows 7 Home Edition premium, because microsoft does not support the windows xp more. Now all of my terrible looking graphics and I am unable to do my 'easy transfer' of my settings in my computer. It is said that there is not enough memory. Why would the transfer to proceed with the transfer if there is not enough room to put them on the same computer with the new windows operating system 7? Besides, why don't the Windows Upgrade Advisor warn me that my system would not support it. There was some software incompatibility issues but nothing that serious. I would like to go back to windows xp or windows 7 starter edition would work? I have a 2 GB of ram with a 32-bit op system. I fell I just lost my money and even less hours spent working on it. I realize it's time to upgrade, but want even this computer works for children and the wife.
Advise Windows isn't the end of everything, being together. Common sense and human interaction and research is always the majority of computing in my humble opinion. If a program can still tell you the answer - and in fact always reason - is it a good thing? ;-)
From my experience, we should always do their own research - investigating on their own. Ask others who have more experience in everything that they might plan to do a few questions so they could avoid an error. Yet, at this stage, human beings are still the best source for experience.
Windows XP should work fine for that machine. In fact - it was designed essentially around it (the machine has been designed around Windows XP--came with it). I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Windows 7 and in trouble, but I assure you - with the right material, that Windows 7 is the next Windows XP. :-)
