  The 'volume' is a hard disk, a partition on a hard drive or a storage as a USB device.

  OS X automatically saves your document frequent while you work on it. If the volume of the device / it records on a summer formatted to allow 'versioning', you will be able to use Time Machine to open previous versions of your document. If it has not been formatted like that, you get the message see you, and only the current version of the document will be saved.

  A possible scenario:

  • During installation, the 64-bit OS is recognized and installed the 64-bit version of the redistributable.

  To get back on track with my browser House, I didn't reactivate installing Firefox 3.16.6 (I kept the Setup file fortunately) and he replaced the horrible Firefox 4 and everything was back to normal. All my favorites and quick links were still in place.

  I think it's full of bugs, and my recommendation is to look for Firefox 3 and (without uninstalling Firefox 4) run the installer as usual to return to your old browser (much better and fully functional).   Article knowledge base, I tried to delete the application rule for Firefox to my firewall software (Avast Internet Security) and add the rule. This does nothing.

  The program is essentially dead. I'll try to go back to version 19 to see if this solves the problem. In the meantime, the 20 version is broken on my PC.

  UPDATE: for the record, back to FireFox 19.0.2 solved the problem. The program now meets all the favourites and manually entered web addresses in the URL bar.

  I disabled the maintenance service that updates 'in silence' of Firefox. The plan is now simply ignore all the Mozilla prompts asking me to upgrade to version 20.

  Problem solved, for now.
