• Suggestions of Siri - Recent Contacts

  So I was checking the recent contacts in my Suggestions Siri and I noticed one of the list I have no recollection by contacting at least. However, this person's name was among a list of people I have had interaction with the last 24 hours.  Is there something I'm missing here? Is this something that happens frequently? Is this a bug? Is there something about the search algorithm, I do not understand?

  The reason for my concern is that I want to do that I was not black, and this person or maybe someone got a hold of my phone and contacts without my knowledge. If this is the case then I have a big problem to deal with.

  The proposed contacts are more than just a simple "recent contacts". The contacts that appear depend on not only who have contacted you recently, but also on your location and time of day. For example if you always text your boss during the days of the week when you are at work, your boss will be there Tuesday if you are at work, even if you have not sent a text message their show recently. If you had a day off and have been to the beach, even if you approached your boss the day before, their contact is not necessarily show.

  Welcome to the Apple community. I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say "communicate" with the Apple Watch, so I'll give you a few options that can respond to your request.

  (1) the Apple Watch supports Siri, just like the iPhone and the Mac. To apply, simply say "Hey Siri" while the wrist is triggered, and your watch will respond. Alternatively, you can hold the digital Crown and Siri will be activated. As soon as Siri is activated, you can ask him questions such as "what is the weather today" or "reminder", or "Let's start a workout."

  If you are still at a loss, with regard to the types of orders that Siri will accept, you can always ask. Say 'Hey Siri, what can you do?' and she will give you a list of commands that she will answer to the.

  This feature is available on your model of device, from your home screen, press the Menu key > Options click on > under the title of launch of typing , don't forget he is set on universal search rather than shortcuts application.   Siri call me John instead of my name and all my devices now sign me up as a person.  Siri uses a contact detail that is not mine but a friends and there are not in my contacts fade, so I can't delete it.  When I look at my contact card is all of my information.

• Siri don't text my contacts in iOS 10

  I have a problem with my iPhone that I didn't have before the update to iOS 10. I think that it is somehow connected to the Contacts, but I can't understand that.

  If I go to Messages and select an existing thread, can I message someone quite easily with the keyboard. However, if I ask Siri text my wife, or text < name >, the message does not send. He finds himself in a new thread called iPhone, with a bunch of unsent messages. I tried to delete contacts and adding them back but have the same problem.

  This thread name "iPhone" sounds like a clue.

  These contacts are set up in the correct form?  Maybe they were imported from an external source (e.g., Facebook) and therefore not be configured correctly?

  • Each contact has a name configured correctly?
  • Is there an "iPhone" identified as such by a domain name?
  • Is every single person (not duplicated) in your contact list?

  You can save old iMessage (or SMS), perhaps with son multiple recipients, including your intended recipient, which could be confusing for Siri?

  I do a lot of driving on the road. I health home where I travel to the patient's home and do some physiotherapy with them in their homes.  Many times I find myself adjust my schedule, while on the road in order to accommodate a schedule patient or let know that I'm running a little late.  One of the best features of the Siri is that it can call the numbers for you while you are busy with another task, IE. at the wheel.  Well lately, I noticed that she tells me she can't dial a phone number because the number is not in my contacts.  Unfortunately, I can't put the numbers in my contacts because it is my personal phone and any personal information of patients cannot be on my phone, computer, etc., I usually have to call on the road.  Before she could dial the number without any problems.  Now, when I say"Siri, please call 352-xxx-xxxx, she said," I'm sorry I can't find this number in contacts, you would I look for this number somewhere else?  No matter how I word it, even just saying "Siri, I know this number isn't in my contacts, but I still need to call 352-xxx-xxxx" I always get the same prompt of Siri.

  That said, is it possible to fix this?  It would certainly make things a little easier for me while driving instead of having to look at the bottom of the phone to dial the number.  For any help or suggestion would be so appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

  I just tested a call by saying "call 800-xxx-xxxx on my iPhone 6. He knew immediately. I'm in iOS 9.2.1. Have you tried leaving out the ' Siri, please... " » ?

  Have what troubleshooting you done? Update to the latest version of iOS? Reset the phone? Restore network settings? Restored from a return to the top? Restored like new?

• Contact ID forget the fingers after 12 hours of not used

  So I had my parents a nice Air 2 iPad with cellular data, a very good product.  The three of us each added that a finger and touch ID worked incredibly for several hours.  However the next day it would not remember neither my mom or dad.  He remembered my thumb, but then that stopped working a few hours later.

  We each added a finger several times.  However, the model is the same.  The Touch ID forget our fingers after about 12-24 hours of not used.

  My brother seems to have no problem with his iPhone 6s.  Its feature is also running iOS 9.1.

  I conjectured that perhaps the problem was that Touch ID did not like several people using the feature to unlock the device even.

  Anyway... now that I have, exclusively, have been using my new iPad (cell) Pro my theory is different.

  The drawing is the same... Contact ID works fine immediately after the addition of a finger, but overnight stops working.

  My current theory is that it works better with the phone and iPad because iPhone users tend to use their devices more continuous than iPad users.

  (at least my parents and myself) iPad users often leave the unused and locked iPad for 12 to 48 hours...

  I think that Touch ID requires frequent use to recycle permanently for the fingers "added".

  Maybe, maybe iOS 9.1 is bug in what concerns the contact ID.  Perhaps a future update may solve the problem.

  Or maybe, simply the cell iPad version has this issue.

  All things considered, I'm not discouraged by these products that they are worth every penny.

  FaceTime with iPad Air and Pro is an amazing experience.

  For backup of your contacts from your Yahoo account, you will need to disable wireless synchronization.

• Siri can not make phone calls

  Talked to the hotline from Apple Support today. They convinced me to try reset the network settings. However, this does not have the problem.

  So I decided to reinstall from backup again (their second and final suggestion): I stored the new pictures that I shot with the phone before restore the device with exactly one that I used when the new machine was delivered two days ago:

  If it was the same data as iTunes sent to the same device, it worked!

  Interestingly other small issues were fixed as well (for example some photos were missing in camera rolling despite the fact that they were on the phone) and the whole process was not too long, since iTunes stores now sync settings for the lists of reading, books, movies, and photos on this unit (except for the initial setup of the new device two days ago).

  In my opinion the iOS in the update interval can be the reason of this problem-free second run: 7A iPhone shipped with iOS 10.0.0 but I updated to 10.0.1 after initial installation.
