Siri on my Mac isn't able to use applications such as the Messages and Photos.  How can I fix it?

I have upgraded to Sierra and try Siri.  I can't get Siri to send messages, find files, or open photos.  He said "I don't see an app for that.  You will need to download a.  What is the problem.  How to do those things that are given as examples in the documentation online to work?

Assuming that you use correct dialogue for Siri to send a message, for example and you have MacOS Sierra properly installed and that you have system preferences > Siri enabled:

Check system preferences > Security & Privacy > privacy > location Services and be certain "Siri & dictation" is enabled.

Correct dialog box is something like: "send a message to Joe.  Hello period. »
