Site Internet on this computer errors
Hey there, I'm not able to open some websites, it gives me weird errors. It was working fine.
1 have you tried in "no addons" as well? Is that nothing better, i.e. sites do not work in this mode, or you can reset this mode?
2 . Gray button:
What is a level of user account or an Admin account?
If the user try an Admin account and reset from there.
If his admin already, create a new admin account and see if you can reset the account.
Creation of the user account - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-user-account#create-user-account=windows-7
If all else fails, try this - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737/en-gb and run the fixit instead of the manual version.
3. or maybe I should ask upward - 'What are the weird errors' when a site opens. ? Is it just that it opens or is there a specific error message?

I've seen this problem on another thread, but no solution was available in 2012. Has he been found since then? All other software on my Windows 7 PC can connect to the internet, but not parental control. I'm just trying to set up for the first time, then maybe there is a code secret/rain dance? Help!
Hello Chris,
Thanks for the reply and we update on the State of the question.
I appreciate the efforts that you have taken so far trying to solve this problem. It is possible that the Webroot SecureAnywhere software could block Windows Live services.
I ask you temporarily disable the security software and check if you are able to connect to the Services Windows Live for you connect to the account of the safety of the family.
Note:
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Let us know the results, so that we can help you.

I get an error message that says that this computer has a network card installed and configured. I have a linskeys wireless router and we have two laptops that work very well. Hello
Go to the Dell website and download the drivers for your model computer.

I saw the answers to this question if you have Internet Explorer 6 or 7 but NOT for the new verion, 8. I tried following the steps to fix for older versions of Solution Explorer, but it did not work and I still get the same message error "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. "I AM the administrator, even if my son also share the computer. This error message just started a few weeks ago, and today I go to Internet Explorer 8. I use Windows Vista Home Premium. Any thoughts?

The solutions proposed in this forum for the error message are excellent and detailed. However, they apply to IE6 and IE7, so I'm not able to follow the action steps.

Okay so if please bear with me and be patient. I'm not tech savvy. I know enough to be able to remove an old hard drive and put another one, but when there are errors, I don't know what to do.
Here's the situation.
I have a Dell Studio XPS with Windows 7 installed. I started having these notifications that my hard drive could be a failure. I tried everything that I could find to fix it without having to buy a new HARD drive without success. The current system has a 1 TB Seagate hard drive. I installed a memory additional bar thingie right after that I got the computer about 4 years ago. (If someone tells me how to find the properties of real system, I post them if necessary). Anyway, I bought a new WD 1 TB black disk hard to install before my old dies and loses all my photos and documents, etc...
I took the old drive yesterday and installed the new hard drive. I put back the case and turned on the machine. I put in my Windows 7 installation disc. He began installing Windows 7... It's completely past the initial screen where it says it to load it and the other... I had accepted the license agreement, but did not have to make a profile and do the work and the reader. I hope all this makes sense. Then it pops up this message "installing Windows could not set up Windows on hardware on this computer." I couldn't figure out what to do from there. I got the new drive and put the old one back to and here I am. I tried to find solutions to this problem, but I either don't can't make heads or tails out of the responses on the internet or the solution is not exactly my problem.
Please help if you can! And if you have any suggestions, please dumb them down so I can understand what to do. I CAN do if loaded, you just have to not talk too irritable. Laughing out loud
Thank you in advance!
Maybe not...
The Windows installation is not happy about something, and since it gets at least started which is a good thing, but your installation problem can not really be with Windows - perhaps something about Dell hardware or your 1 TB HARD drive.
I looked at your system and found this article that you can read to see if it sounds like your original question:
Windows Setup could not configure Windows on hardware on this computer.
http://www.Dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN293812/en
Since Dell has written an article for help on this subject, it means they've met enough times to take the time to compose the article and put it on their WWW site (but, they say, it is a possible resolution).
Could you take the issue in the Dell online community where experts hang out (especially your amber light).
Another good place for support is www.bleepingcomputer.com where there is a similar topic as your question (except Vista) on a Dell and a new disk of 1 TB (also a Seagate) and Dell ideas did not work, but someone else has found a way to fix it:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/453378/installation-fails-to-complete-on-new-HDD/
The bleepingcomputer for your error message search reveals other areas and people who have got things to work in different ways, then it is perhaps another place to look for ideas.
If the installation still fails it would not hurt to do the BIOS setting and see if things are getting longer, and since you are going to write the current settings before proceeding with the adjustment you can always cancel the adjustment if things get worse.

Original title: necessary emergency assistance, cannot log on to pc, password not recognized
Last week, I bought a brand new model of laptop Asus K55A. All had been working fine without any problems, but when I tried to connect today (after previously working well earlier today a stop and then restart a few hours later) I could not signed. The message I get is: "your computer is offline, please enter the last password used on this computer" OR "that password is incorrect. Make sure that you use the password to your account Microsoft "and then gives the address to visit to reset the password as an option.
I am now on a different pc and (after literally hours of trial and error messages on the site of Microsoft live!) have managed to reset my password - obviously successful because I used it to connect to this form. However, when I restart and try to connect to my own laptop, I just get the same thing. It is not to recognize the new password! As I am the ONLY user on my laptop has no way for me to go at all! Help, please. Without him recognize the new password, my new laptop is completely useless!
NB: I'm not too so there are a limited number of questions technical I can answer, however the above should give you the gist of the question, if all goes well computer savvy. Windows 8 is the operating system in question, btw.
"PROBLEM SOLVED-"your PC is disconnected"Message in Windows 8.Here's how I fixed my Asus laptop, but works the same on all the others, I'm sure. Easy instructions are here:www.nextofwindows.com/How-to-deal-with-your-PC-is-Offline-message-in-Windows-8/I went to the Business Center at the apt community I live in, pulled the decision-making network of one of their boxes and plugged my laptop, efficiently connect to their internet. I did not stop their computer, I just it out and put it in my laptop. Then I logged on my laptop with my hotmail account. It was all she wanted. I was in!I disconnected and close my laptop. And reconnect their their pc network cable.I pulled my laptop to make sure, it was fixed, and it is. Awsome. We had to plug into a network with a network cable, taking care of her.You have no idea how long it took me to find this simple answer. All the sites I visit is very good, except for a single site, out of the blue that everything on this website is smaller, but only from this computer from other computers, the site is fine, as also the website is very good if I use IE10 or chrome, so somehow , I think I have to set the size of this much smaller than all the other sites, if possible how to reset, every time I have to go on this site I have to open it in Internet Explorer, which becomes a little embarrassing. Thanks in advance

Hello. I had repeated BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) since I've owned this computer.
Product: HP TouchSmart 300-1017 PC Desktop
Product # NY604AA-ABA; [Personal information]
W7/64.
"DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.
My last HP support ticket number is 805 154 7061.
These BSOD occur only when the machine is in
STANDBY or hibernation,
NEVER when it is active. NEVER.
I called support 5 - 6 times and spent hours trying to get the problem solved.
They took control and made things such as the update of the BIOS, the DL updates, etc., but the problem persists. Then on a reminder 24 hours later, they ask if everything is OK.
WELL, WHAT * IS * OK UNTIL THE NEXT BSOD.
These efforts have NO analysis as to what could be the cause of the problem.
I'm tired of trial and error approaches, involving mainly conjecture.
I have right to more effort has been to resolve this problem.
Information about the BSOD settings on the causes of the problem are listed below.

Ox9F errors are pilot errors. Often they are solved by updating the graphics driver, but it could be any driver. Sometimes something wrong in the system can cause a problem to another driver - they can be very difficult to solve.
I saw a document on the Microsoft Web site that may apply - I might try what it says and see if that makes a difference. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/982091
Also - make sure that you have updated the graphics and TV tuner driver (and everything that needs to be updated) - there were a few difficulties for crashes and blue screens in some of them.

Try to Hibernate but effectively all restart laptop
