  Hi all

  I got a flash site, then decided to reorganize in html5. So I did a site bare bones Board animate, published on the web, and he did a lot of nice organized files to download. I went into Dreamweaver CS6, delete the old files and new files downloaded. However, I kept getting the message. After a bit of Googling, I realize that I need an index.html.   You can rename your landing index.html page in the web root directory. Make sure that if you have other links to the original page, then those who are also updated.

  Another option would be to put a redirect page index.html in your web root, which automatically redirects to the correct page. Use this option only if you cannot use the first.

  Then, you can use VMware PowerCLI to do that.

  It is called Invoke-VMScript cmdlet. It can be used to run the exe, batch file or powershell script inside the virtual machine. It requires no network connectivity, as it uses VMtools to run the script.

As some of the symbols are located differently on the keyboard.

  Hi Fonia,

  Your laptop was supplied with copies OEM licensed the OS and utilities (such as Norton 2005). OEM license means that the products are available in the language of the country where they were purchased.

  If you want English language versions, then you will need to purchase the versions entirely under fired directly from suppliers (or possibly download them from the web sites concerned).

  The English version of the Toshiba Utilities can be downloaded from the web site of Toshiba UK.

• Windows Update has disappeared from the BONE. __

  I am using windows 7 32 bit.
  Windows Update gives me an error "Windows update does not work because the service is not running. Please try to restart the computer. When I open windows update by using the start menu, it takes about two minutes to open, then there is a red X beside where it says click to launch updates. When I click that is gives the above error.
  Also in my fix PC next to the clock. She has that I click so I can not change this setting either this "change window update.
  Seems that windows update has disappeared from the BONE.

  Welcome to the Microsoft answers community site. I suggest you try these options:

  Option 1: Make sure that Windows Update Service is running, or if a force start it takes

  1. open run it and type services.msc, and then press ENTER.

  2 locate the underside of services in all install services list.

  Windows Update (a)

  (b) BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service)

  (c) cryptographic Services

  3. check that the status is started. If the condition column is blank, right-click on the service and select start.

  4. always make sure that the Startup Type is set to automatic, and then restart the computer.

  Run the Microsoft Fixit tool to reset Windows Component Update.

  I'm sorry, but your problem seems to be with Sony.

  Sony is responsible for all their updates for Vista operating system support, they delivered, not Microsoft.

• Can no longer access secure Web sites after infrastructure changes

  OK, before I tell you what is clear, is not the infrastructure changes.  I have several other devices that all work very well in the same environment.

  Now that what is obvious is the road, here's what has changed.

  I swapped my old DLINK router for a firewall PA-200. I can't access to 90% of SSL sites now and I tried just about everything I could find on the subject.  I have:

  • I connected to another laptop and it works fine
  • I have connected an iOS (iPad) device and it works fine
  • I have re-registered the DLL.
  • I erased slate SSL.
  • I have reset all settings
  • I started properly
  • I have reset the settings of Internet Explorer (even if the problem persists for IE and Chrome)
  • I disabled all extensions and modules
  • I turned IPv6 on and outside
  • I changed the public network to work from home
  • I deleted all temporary files
  • and I pulled the hair remaining, I had all the way
  • I checked the date and time are correct and consistent at the bios level and the level of the BONE

  I know there must be something simple and stupid, but for the life of me I can't find.

  After many tests, reconstruction, etc... I found the culprit.

  I have two bold 9000. Today I 'accidentally' removed the operating system on one of them with the help of the JavaLoader (of JavaLoader wipe - an option). Now I want to reinstall the same OS that I had. I have not found my service provider in the list of BlackBerry download sites.

  Is there a way to extract the BONES of my second BB BOLD 9000 so that I'll be able to install it on the one I wiped?

  I do not know if what you're asking, it's possible, but it is also not really necessary. You are not limited to your own package of carriers OS (if it's quite strange that they are not on the list...). You can use any carriers OS package... the only drawback is that if you use a version that is not supported by your operator, you can go back to their supported version if they refuse you support (they can).

• Unable to connect to Internet Explorer or Chrome, Google, I suspect sabotage

  Last week, I contacted Linksys for advice on my router.  I wanted to know if I should replace it because it's quite old and my new computer was really very slow.  He was very violent and spent about two hours to get cables changing cables and the settings in my computer.  After about two hours of this nonsense, he told me that I had no access to internet, which indeed I did when I called him.  My provider is Verizon DSL.  Now, after all of his actions, my problem is more serious, I can't connect to Google, Internet Explorer, or any other site that requires internet access.  It appears sometimes, sometimes not.  Our conversation became quite heated at one point and he hung up.  I wonder if he sabotaged my computer out of spite.  I know it sounds paranoid, but I'm an older woman who have not grown up the acquisition of computer skills.  I took lessons and do my best to follow.  It was so insulting to me, I wonder if he did something to deliberately to ruin me more out of spite.  Of course I had reported him Linksys and they told me they had no record of my call.  I am a pensioner and R.N and I met some psychopaths in my time.  Could you tell me as to how I could check that everything is as it should be on my brand new computer.  I have the icon wireless turned on on my computer.   Thanks for any help you can give me.

  Microsoft had a bad wifi update recently decommissioned wifi on laptops a lot, a lot, and you need to reset your netsh ip stack to restore your connectivity.
