  Skype crashed on the Dx11Interceptor.dll module, which most likely belongs to amBX Gaming Software FXGen. Try to uninstall this software.

  I have the problem that, after Skype has launched an upgrade installation crashes with a blue screen and restart the laptop. If Skype is on autostart he immediately blocked again.   So, I decided to get Skype today so I could discuss with my friends. I launched the Skype app first, and it says that the connection failed. So I decided to get the desktop version of Skype. I downloaded, installed and it worked fine. I registered and signed with success, when all of a sudden it appears with an error message Skype has stopped working and windows is checking for a solution. It is then implemented with windows can not find a solution. I thought I'd better try again, so I did and it happened again. I have decided to re - install Skype and restart my computer.   The first thing is to check for an updated version.

  If your Blender is up to date, try:

  (1) start in Safe Mode and then restart normally

  If this does not fix it

  (2) try to launch the mixer to a new user account. If it works, then the problem is specific to your account. Let us know

  While the suggestion of D.Schink will work, it will remove all your call history and the cat. There is a much less destructive approach:
  
  Download Skype for Mac 7.7. You may need to run twice, but it will fix the crash at startup you see.

  I'm having a problem where my Skype crashes randomly on my computer at work.

  This is what makes it very frustrating to use. My guess is it's a video driver problem but I downloaded a new driver for it already.

  My Skype crashes whenever I do the first call or receive the first call. Whether by Skype phone or Skype to Skype.

  I have to sign out of Skype and then reconnect you for each call.

• Skype crashing when opening a cat.

  Hi all

  I had a problem the last two days where Skype crashes a few seconds after I opened a conversation with someone. I tried to reinstall, reboot, delete shared.xml or the config in my user %appdata%\skype as folder file has been suggested to me by live support, but without help. I also tried to delete my registry, ending all transfers in Skype and turning off all the stories of cat. None of which work. There is also no error, it seems fair that "Not responding" then asks me if I want to shut it down, wait that it reacts or look online for a solution.

  The only time where he has worked in the last day or so although I was remote accessible for a person to Skype. Then, the problem doesn't happen at all, and Skype has worked for a bit, but after some time, the problem returns.

  Someone at - it any other ideas? I use Skype every day and be limited to my tablet is a pain.

  It seems that the Compact view is indeed a work around for this issue and hope that Skype move to find a real solution for it soon.
