  I couldn't resist the offer of eBay for the new C615 40 + $5 exp. money of shipping 30 days return back to one side most seller (148079, 99.4% positive), so I went ahead and ordered.

  I have 10.8.5, Windows 8.1, and soon 10.9 on the Mac, so after my expereince here once I've been able to gather.

  Exactly what the title says. I did EVERYTHING on the title page, and yet it will not work. Curiously, it uses the same MICRO webcam but not the camera. I run this last update of Skype and vista.

  To be honest, I've never heard of this problem, but if you want to use the webcam with external software such as Skype, you must first close the webcam software. Example of webcam starts with Windows and that you should close it before starting, it is a 3rd party program.
