Skype is out of control, freezing constantly!
So, with this new update to make "easier to use Skype", which is Microsoft speak to say "make incredibly painful." Since the last update, where Skype now has ads in CHAT where I talk to my friends, whenever the announcement is about to change Skype will freeze if I'm in a call to someone else or if I'm on this direct chat. Whenever I have send a message to someone, Skype freezes. Whenever I connect, Skype freezes for about two minutes for no reason. I tried to uninstall and then reinstall, I've done virus scans etc but nothing do not have this problem. I do not understand why now, they have the right to ads on my face as I will click on them like this, but it's incredibly annoying. What should I do?

Use the Spotlight UC is out of control without reason
I find more and more Mac running 10.11.4 where Spotlight is just out of control without no reason that I can discern.
If nobody is logged on, Spotlight uses no processor.
As soon as someone connects, Spotlight resumes the process of using CPU number one. He is currently at 166,4% (of multiple cores).
No matter if I disable mdutil and kill Spotlight... Spotlight returns and eats CPU.
Reboots don't matter.
10.11.4 reinstall combo did not help.
Clearing the cache didn't help. / System/library and / users.
Create a new user and login, Spotlight jumps to first place.
Secure startup, Spotlight pops up.
Network cable, no difference.

Two things come to mind:
1) restart mode without failure, then normally again
(2) force Spotlight to reindex

Portege R600 - the touchpad cursor is out of control
I have problems with the touchpad on a Portégé R600 running Windows 7.
The cursor is out of control. When I'm scrolling a page and you have to push the slider on the page, the screen scrolls down out of control.
Sometimes I can fix it up by double tapping the touchpad, but also often, it does not work. When I type the cursor will jump to another area of the page and insert the typing it.
The combination of these problems sometimes makes the laptop almost unusable.I noted that several forum users have brought up the variations of this problem, but received no response.
Anyone can shed light on how to fix?
Hello
I think that it s a temporal question regarding the sensitivity of the touchpad settings and the Microsoft windows OS.
First, you must change the settings for the touchpad as PalmCheck sensitivity and sensitivity to touch.
You can do this in Control Panel-> mouse-> tab-> settings the touchpad device settingsIn addition, you must make sure that the operating system is clean and that some background process don't affect the functionality of the touchpad. In many cases the touchpad don't work properly because of system overhead.
Clean the registry with CCleaner, don't disable some no necessary process in msconfig and at least update the touchpad drivers. -
Satellite Pro 6100: cursor moves out of control on the screen
Hey guys,.
I'm seriously going crazy right about now... my problem is the following:
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100, Windows XP Professional with SP2, memory: 512 MB.
About two weeks ago my cursor began to move up and down whenever I pressed the space bar. It has gotten worse since. My cursor moves out of control across the screen (there are usually in the upper right or lower left) and I can not recover. I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my external mouse (optical), because this problem also occurs when I use my pointing device. Even in safe mode.
The thing I've tried:
Ran Spybot: Search and Destroy
Ran Adaware
Xoftspy RAN
A ran Symantic Antivirus 10 (complete analysis of the system in safe mode)
New keyboard
New motherboardNothing helps. I'm this close to format my pc. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do?
Thanks in advance!
Hello
I put t he understand. You have changed the keyboard and the motherboard, but you did not recover the OS with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
The first procedure that you should do is the new installation of the OS before you change or replace anything on the laptop.Unfortunately, it is not easy to say why it occurs. A friend of mine has a similar problem with the cursor. The cursor has jumped on the screen and it was not possible to open applications. It has (or service) resolved with the replacement of keyboard.
If the new installation OS doesn't fix this strange cursor, so I recommend you contact Toshiba.

Hello saandeepa,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your touchpad freezes on your HP Pavilion Notebook 15.
Let's start by ensuring that drivers are up to date. You can find them here: Synaptics TouchPad Driver.
Also take a look at this document for issues of touchpad in Windows 8: use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad (Windows 8).
I would like to know if that helps at all.

Exactly when this happens to you (using a particular application or game)?
The same thing happens if you use an external mouse?

color laserjet 2840 scrolling out of control control panel
My HP color laserjet 2840 Control Panel scroll out of control. The screen lights up and you can read "Hewlett-Packard", but nothing else. Under the words "Hewlett-Packard" that seems to be something (probably the word "Ready") scrolling to the right on the left of a way very fast, unreadable. I can't print with this problem.
I recently installed a mod for additional memory, but preinted fine a few days before, so that's not the issue.
If anyone has any idea how I can return to the "Ready" State, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Thank you for the reset option.
Since my original post, I called HP support and they told me that they don't support any more of my printer. I was even unable to discuss the issue, which has been quite disappointing.
I ended up out the memory mod that I mentioned in my post and the screen of the printer stop scrolling. I had the feeling that it was the question, because it was the only variable, but it was the good mod, so I wasn't sure.
In the meantime, I was forced to buy a new printer because I needed one and now I have an extra.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu. Skype freezes constantly on my installation of Windows 7.
So, uh, I just got Skype 6.18 today, and I had problems with him constantly freezing and usually become numb, with it taking about eight to ten minutes to load a notification on one of my contacts is online. Literally everything I do in it causes unresponsive. I tried what allows Internet Explorer, turn on a certain services which, for purposes of performance, I had turned off, uninstall all the drivers webcam I had installed, remove programs a little while everything else which I think can help or even relevant, but, so far, I have had absolutely no chance. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on an Acer Aspire X3400G with 4 GB of ram installed, a 3.10 GHz AMD Athlon II X 2 255 dual-core processor and a graphics processor NVIDIA GeForce 9200. Anyone think they know what may be causing this?
I have IE 11. I disabled my antivirus scanning program messaging and that seems to have solved the problem.

Bookmarks freezes constantly all sorting manually in Firefox 19 and following
There is a bug in bookmarks. I use Firefox 19, one a Mac and firefox 20 on the other. Whenever I arrange my bookmarks in the relevant files by using the "bookmark manager" (that is, sort them manually), each bookmark a few minutes Manager freezes and does not respond. This clear gel through things like - being not able to scroll upwards or downwards, not being is not able to move files in a particular folder and so on. Its frustrating... as I constantly have to wait until what it thaws. It happens every time! Have tried disabling add-ons that might have had problems, but it did not help...
How many bookmarks do you have?
Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.
You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

Skype on Microsoft Lumia 535 freezes and stutters
Hello dear Microsoft,
I'm really happy with my 535 Lumia from Microsoft. Great phone, great price.
Skype however (which is the preferred application) really bad though behaves.
It freezes and stutters all the time.
For example, to open the application, it takes very long. To see my recent contacts takes another 30 seconds or more. To type a message to a contact takes another 30 seconds and while typing, it freezes and stutters once again.
Performance sucks, basically.
We soon expect an update? This is a really bad situation, where Skype on other platforms of works like a charm, but Ms mobile platform, just sucks...
I hope that this is resolved very, very soon!
Kind regards

You should know that you do a backup of your data and your settings if you use this tool.

Is this a HD failure? (I've replaced twice over the years). It presents the motherboard? Somethings obviously lacking. Apart from the backup, what can I do?
Perhaps unrelated: I wonder constantly updating my browsers (doesn't matter which). I am running 10.6.8 I need probably put first before update of Safari, Chrome, Firefox...
End of 2006, MacBook Core Duo; 3Gig (667 mhz) HD is 750 GB; running OS 10.6.8
Hardware can have a fault that could be the cause of the shimmering screen.
So maybe it's something to watch. There may be utility Console logs of
the exact time of day (hours, minutes, seconds) with details about this situation.
You can try to reset the computer by using the SMC reset instructions; the part of what
can help is to be able to reset... In addition, a different reset NVRAM can have another effect
and they cause no harm. This could be seen as part of troubleshooting, as it
does not offer a cure for failing to display components or other material exhaust.
• Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support
read this document to support before trying anything.
• How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
Some users leave computer chime three times, reset, the use of this. Make sure that the audio is not muted.
Given the age of the computer, there may be a UPS or any other room display could be
exhaust. There are a few parts that could cause this symptom; and let the flicker
occur when moving the display (open/close), there is a circuit of the logic board to display
which may be replaced by a new cable or other part. And if the computer is still using
the original hard disk drive which at is a moving part (rotation with pens) & could be replaced.
• How to download and install Firefox on Mac - using Mozilla Firefox:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-download-and-install-Firefox-Mac
The browser. You should have no trouble using Firefox, because they have a version for use
in Snow Leopard 10.6.8. That's probably the only browser to update for Mac Intel processor number now.
A computer repair may involve the display inverter or other components, best contact
a service provider authorized Apple working on older models of MacBook vintage and that
can get the parts. The Apple Store is not going to fix the vintage computers, options exist.
Or you could read up on some of the problems most currents & answers to see if your skills can
be sufficient attempt a DIY repair. (Or use the guide to see what it can lead to repair?)
Although an Apple Store Genius appointment can be useful if they could test or review the unit
unless he has a strange behavior during a visit, they may not be able to offer suggestions; generally
a manager of the Apple Store Genius visit has little or no cost for advice. Former computer problems are
usually outside their current Applecare, parts and warranty flow. And with some models,
product knowledge is better an authorized Apple specialist or a well-known service location.
They would be more likely to have sources of parts and knowledge on how to fix older models.
• Core 2 Duo MacBook repair guides - iFixit.com:
https://www.iFixit.com/device/MacBook_Core_2_Duo
There are online repair guides, such as those of the iFixit.com site for Mac repairs and do this
give you a good look inside the computer & parts appear as well as takeapart sequences.
Sources for parts and service are companies that accept laptops during the expedition
to their repair facilities; These can vary and are across the country. (Or several countries).
Two I read on the United States, are not exclusive, but serve as examples: wegenermedia.com
and powerbookmedic.com - I sent an Apple laptop to Alaska wegenermedia
based on the good reputation of a few years. they did a pretty good job when I am the
portable back (he was in very good condition, with original and software box) I finally sold to a
type more aged 30 miles away who had never owned a computer before. He's 85 years old & used 5 years.
I have provided two years of support (like a neighbor in a small, sparsely populated area) & helped him learn.
And did not offer to have helped him understand the internet, wireless, printing and so on.
If the computer you may be worth the cost to check it out to the course, or you might get another almost
like that, already repaired for what companies can charge to the difficulty that one. I have a MacBook
(MB1.1 1.83 GHz 13 inches) with 2 GB of RAM, disk HARD 160 GB, OS X 10.5.8; and it flickers sometimes.
The unit still works better if open and set up as a desktop with USB keyboard & mouse so unit
the screen does not move much. So that much less flickers in this situation. You mileage may vary.
Good luck & happy computing!

Toshiba controls freezes Windows Explorer on Satellite L350D
Hey guys, my Toshiba controls (Mute, play, stop, next and forward) buttons literally freezes Windows Explorer. I'm not 100% sure if there is a driver that comes pre-installed, but if there is then could someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this?
Also, if it helps I have my folder 'TOSAPINS' containing all the programs that came pre-installed with my laptop.
Thank you for your support.
Hello
Do you mean that your internet explore crashes by pressing control buttons Toshiba?
That s strange.Never heard talk about this issue, but as you know nothing is impossible using the Windows OS ;)
However, I recommend the update of the OS and the cleaning of the operating system using CCLeaner (free software).
In addition, you could reinstall the package of value added because this package contains applications that control buttons of Toshiba.Good bye
