• Major problems with all versions of Skype 6. Need help

  So I do experience wih prolems any version of Skype 6.
  
  When he settled at the time when I restarted the PC, it has been updaed to 6.18 (appears as Skype 6.3 in "Add/Remove Programs" just for that, say.)
  Now, I'm fine with that, as I have means that some the Skype service works.
  What I am not satisfied, is that Skype does not load.
  
  Picure this:
  An older model netbook (Acer Ferrari One 200 to be am.), running on the same OS, it came with 4 years earlier and used by my moher to do computer mundane things like banking online and facebook.
  It has seen better days... but everything worked. And since it uses the PC for skyping with family, she needs.
  Now, it was an urgent need for an update so I have obscured the disc and slammed into Win7 Professional x 64 and updated until today. Everything went well, until I loaded Skype.
  
  Skype loads its window, but it has a white screen and when I hover above the mouse keeps flickering from the top down and with the loading circle.
  I thought I'd take just the time of loading, but after 2 hours of doing nothing, I deleted and tried using older versions, with no luck.
  
  What bothers me because I never had this problem before and nothing doesn't fix...
  Recently, I reformatted my laptop and no problems with Skype what so ever, so it became annoying...

  AMD K8 (cpu)

  4 GB DDR2
  ATI Radeon HD 3200
  HARD DRIVE 500 GB
  all on a card mother Acer in California (S1G1/BGA).

  OK, so I did some research and here are my findings.
  Any or all (I'm guessing that most of them) the following updates are required for Skype 6 work on any Windows 7 PC.

  I went to uninstall Internet Explorer 11 of the option "Turn on / off Windows features.
  The second PC started after the RS, Skype loaded correctly.
  This means that Skype needs files are only some of the updates surrounding and not IE itself.
  From this perspective, that would mean that these updates should be part of the updates required for Windows 7 and not optional according to it if we have IE installed or not, or at least now that Skype is owned by Microsoft that these updates should be added if Skype is present, if Internet Explorer is present.
  If here belong to other programs like Skype that are Microsot who require these updates to work, they should be added to the update list if this specific program is present on a Windows 7 system.
  It makes no sense that the functionality of the program, a program owned by Microsoft, would not have these done updates availible for her if Internet Explorer 11 is not present on the system.
  I know this is a problem with very little, but it's always a program however.
  What can be done to fix this?

  Y at - there a line of code that can be added to Skype that would make it possible to access that the MS update of database in order to install these updated files basic features needed?
  There must be... Send this along to a supervisor who would and could focus on getting this fixed a problem (even minimal).

• Need help for a friend

  OK me and my friends had problems doing a group chat and we discovered that remove the Skype under AppData folder seems to correct the problem. Ute friend rmy is illiterare when it comes to the finer workings of computers and it does not find its appdata folder, and it was never upgraded to Windows 10. From some that it should be easy to get the folder appdata, to my knowledge, but it needs help without worrying. I need someone who knows the older operating systems to give me a brief walkthrough of how to go to appdata in windows 8. I tried to send him a how-to, but it somehow lost on it.

  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP.   I would disable them. but you have to download Autoruns:

  Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

  You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

  Solutions Explorer, it seems that you have too many toolbars for me, but you should get each of them to see if you want it to run as an add-on, you could also disaable each addon one at the time and the surf for a while and if all is ok, leave this option unchecked.

  Hello Microsoft Forum,

  I want to keep this short, as I now have serious problems.
  I have Windows 8 Pro, with each update installed.
  I was looking through the net by chance, then the messaging with a friend.
  My friend has design a logo, which he sent via Skype in a .png format.
  When I double click on the logo, the problems started. Everything has become very slow.
  The image does not open and only after 5 minutes of waiting Windows Picture Viewer began to appear.
  The strange thing is, open Windows image viewer my file .wav file music stored elsewhere, not on my desk (the photo was about all this on my desk).
  Image viewer of course could not open the music file.
  So I decided to open the Task Manager, but the error described in the title, "Taskmgr.exe - extended attributes are incompatible" error came, does not let me to open the Manager.
  This also occurs with most of my programs. I get the same error with Regedit, MSconfig and other configuration utilities, and also some programs starts, as Mumble (Murmur Server can, however).
  In fact, all system tools and, more generally, all in need of Admin privilege does not work. Some of these programs give the error message, some simply do nothing at all.
  I'm the admin user and UAC is set to the last row (no notification).
  In safe mode, everything is normal. In addition, disabling antivirus (ESET Smart Security 6) does not solve the problem.
  I followed a few articles I found, which describes the fix from my sound theme on None or default Windows Setup.
  I have, however, never changed anything with my theme, the sound was enabled by default.
  Setting the sound theme "None" did nothing, just like the definition of the theme options.
  Opening to the top of anything with sound (once again a left-click on the icon in the taskbar to bring up the small volume) literally takes ages.
  Right click on the sound opening in the bar of tasks and sounds to change the theme, then takes forever.
  With forever, I hear, I see the labels and buttons to come with 5 second delay between each.
  This is a high end machine with an i7 - 3770K and a Corsair SSD ForceGS, 16 GB @ 1600 MHz RAM and a GPU GTX 670, so normally everything happens at the moment.
  The sound is the only part affected the slow opening of Chrome, Explorer, and some programs that do not work, are at the moment.
  I'm now writing this getting messages of "program does not" and "Incident at sending information" certain programs, in fact utility built into Windows.
  I wish I had of emergency aid, as this is my main work computer
  . I'm missing a few hours of serious work because of this bug, which was published in a 'stable' of Windows version.
  Edit 1: I forgot to mention that I already tried cmd as Admin ' sfc/scannow' option in Mode safe mode (with or without network, cmd does nothing when open as Administrator without mode safe, does not yet show upward) and in the Advanced Restart public services
  Edit 2: I have not installed new hardware or software when this happened in the same State as everything worked.
  I really want to reinstall everything, I hope that a solution to this.
  Edit 3: One of the programs, which frequently closed (I received a message '(program) stopped working' him) is the host of Console window.
  Edit 4: I have disabled all the codecs to start in safe mode, nothing has changed (an article describes install codecs Audacity caused the same problem).
  Edit 5: Now after a second attempt in SafeMode as administrator cmd, command "sfc/scannow" reported an error that the problems have been found, but could not be repaired.
  Edit 6: I also tried (Cmd as administrator in safe mode with network) repair DISM, could not complete because of an error.
  Edit 7: Tomorrow, if I can not find a solution, I'm going to take drastic measures, like restoring to a previous safe point, using the options of recovery and if necessary, even refresh/powerwash/reinstall everything. However, I hope that these measures are not necessary, because they require a lot of time.
  I hope that my question is understandable
  . Excuse me for my arrogant desire to answer, I normally invite people in the forums, but this made my computer unusable work, resulting in some (financial) problems.

  Hi Richard,

  Since the problem started happening when you tried to open the image file that has been sent to you on Skype. There might be a chance that the image file would be infected by the virus, due to which your computer is facing this problem.

  I suggest to run the Microsoft of Networking in Safe Mode Security Scanner and check to see if it helps:

  Your first screenshot shows the layer style dialog where not all types of effects are indicated on the left. Bottom left of the dialog box, you see a small icon fx with a menu arrow drop-down. Use drop down the menu and make sure all you click on show all effects or restore the default list. I don't know what you're trying the shoe on the second screen capture.

  

• Need help developing 'a server scenario' - and MOA & Stuff

  I need help with the following scenario.

  I have several machines to virtualize via the DRAC or ILO, and I have to keep the local interation in a minimum possible.

  In some sites, I have only one server, do I need to create a virtual computer on a USB drive, install ESXi on this same machine and add to the ESXi virtual machine create earlier.

  I tried to use a CD multiboot I've done with the installer ESXi and MOA on the same disk, to eventually reach:
  1. create a VM with MOA (Windows 2008 R2) cold start
  2 - test this virtual machine with VMware Player on MOA
  3 - reboot
  4. install ESXi
  5 - create a VM 'work' of vsphere client (from my desktop over a wide AREA network)
  6 - start MOA on this work «VM»
  7 use moa to add my VM created in step 1 to the new ESXi

  
  I can't get to step 5, I can't find a way to import the virtual machine to ESXi, I tried adding converter 5 MOA Build, but no dice. Above all I do not see my ESXi host, or I get another error when you try to run the converter 5 4 or 3, the converter to connect on a Vserver, witch, I have not at this time here.

  So any who has any light for me or another possible scenario to reach my goal?

  Of course - there are several ways to do so.

  You say you have Workstation on your generation? -Then, you also have vmware-vdiskmanager.
  With vdiskmanager you can import VMDK in ESXi.

  Other options will need to use WinSCP to transfer the virtual machine - vmkfstools can be used if you are generating MOA with NFS support.

• Vmxnet3 questions. Need help!

  Hi all

  Deploy a virtual computer using powershell and powerCLi. Each VM has 4 adapters vmxnet3. Windows server 2008 is installed unattended.

  After windows setup is complete, I rename the LAN and INF1 INF2 INF3 adapters by running a script and restart the virtual machine.

  Once connected the names are preserved. But when I stop the virtual machine and poweron, adpaters, names are not preserved. . They are referred to as the connection to the LAN, local area connection2 and surrounding area connection3 connection1.

  Show Device Manager that previous maps are disconnected and from new cards.

  Any help much appreciated.

• Need help to reinstall itunes

  Recently had to withdraw Windows 10 votes against 7, on doing so, iTunes didn't work.  I tried to remove iTunes, but get an error not found the path iTunes6464.msi. So I can't uninstall.  I tried to download the latest version, but when it comes to uninstall the old version it fails because it cannot find this file.  Need help to remove and reinstall so it can connect again my devices.
