  I use Windows Vista 32bits on E5500 and everything works fine with the big exception of the audio driver. I used the latest version for this laptop which is A15, no other versions are available on the downloads page. The pilot is very unstable and crashes all the time. Pressing the sound keys does not change the audio levels instantly as expected. There is a noticeable delay in the volume control after I pressed the button. A few 4-5 or more seconds after I press Volume upwards or downwards until the press is registered. A very weird situation and nothing helped so I deleted the audio driver of Dell. I use the default Windows driver now and so far everything is ok.

  Everyone has experienced a weird behavior like this on the same computer laptop? Do you know where I can find an old audio driver for E5500 so I can test again?

  If the Ctrl key pressed, while pressing the F11 key repeatedly (about once per second) at startup does not work, it means that the recovery partition no longer exists.  If this is the case, you cannot restore to the factory.

  This would also be the case if the hard drive has been replaced.

  As pointed out already, the sync problem has nothing to do with 48 k against 44.1 k and everything to do with the fact that the timing of audio recorders is a little sloppier than VCRs. Both camcorders will match very well and can derive only one or two images in two hours, if at all, from my experience with multi-camera shoots.

  You can either speed up the clip a little bit, or put a razor cut in the audio clip from time to time and change the next piece of audio on a frame or two to maintain the necessary synchronization. Tedious work.

But when I export my project as I have done several times, the "Denoiser" effect does not work for the first 3 seconds + for all the clips that I used to assign for.   Looks like the attack is a bit slow, or you need to provide some reading room early for the filter to act accordingly.  I would disable the effect.  Then went on the audio together the chronology of a .wav file and that a hearing and apply the effect it.  At the hearing, place a marker at the top of the file.  Then copy about 4 seconds of audio / sound of your file and paste it before the marker.  This should give some time before reading the effect of work.  When he is satisfied with your editing, 'Apply' effect to the file and save it and import that into first.
