  I think you're looking in the root folder not your home folder.   Tilde ~ in front of the first slash indicates the folder.

  Try this...

  Quit Safari.

  Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

  Type or copy paste the following text:

  ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Safari.plist

  Click OK, and then move the com.apple.Safari.plist file to the trash.

  Restart Safari to test.

  The embedded screen keyboard should still work even if the physical keyboard isn't.

  Try this first...

  Press and hold the Windows key and the space bar.

  If no joy, go to the search bar and with the built-in keyboard, type the filter keys and choose key filter on or off.

  In the window of the ease of access to the keyboard, disable FilterKeys.

  If you are on a windows machine Please make sure that there is that no duplicate instance is running in the the Task Manager for Dreamweaver.

  I have some difficulty to understand certain behaviors, I see with the indicator of State TOC. It is my understanding that Captivate 5, the status indicator is displayed only after you reach the end of a slide. In newer versions, which has changed and that a user only need to show a slide to trigger the status indicator.

  One of those who would be acceptable to me, but I feel something different. My OCD is structured so that only the first slide in a slide group appears in the table of contents, as they are more like chapter stops slide granular level, browsers (I have 174 slides in the project, so the chapters are more digestible). Entries in the table of contents do not end unless all the slides in the chapter were read, not only the initial slide that populate the table of contents. This becomes a problem in specific chapters, those who I change things at the user to interact with the software in demonstration and involve an offshoot, which have no end, unless all of the slides in this chapter are affected. Why is this? The table of contents should not depend only on slides shown in the table of contents? If so, I can assure you this slide from the opening of a chapter, that of the filling of the table of contents is seen until the end. Instead, it seems to be related to branching in these chapters, even if the blades are not represented in the table of contents.

  To be clear:

  • I'm afraid with this indicator of status in the table of contents; I am not concerned about the production of reports for the course as a whole (I handle this in a different way).
  • I set the button to launch the activity on the slide to the next slide, first chapter 'Continue' ensuring that the slide is seen until the end.
  • I can reproduce reliable that the status indicator does not appear unless all the slides in the chapter/group was seen, and it seems permanently when each slide saw.
  • This does not vary with the grouping of slides; I removed the Group and have experienced the same behavior of status.
  • I am aware of the TickTock widget, maybe use it if necessary, but I am intrigued by what I thought would be simple behavior.
  • I am not concerned about a rigorous check that the users have completed all slides. I just want to the table of contents to show that a chapter has been visited, and to this end, the initial slide of activity is good enough for me.

  Any ideas?

  Indeed. Unless all the slides in the Group table of contents are visited, this element will not be marked as completed.

• Loss of connection network several times a day while actively using internet. Will not stop after that.

  I read a lot of posts on the Vista network connections problems when changing modes of consumption, or when the wireless adapter is inactive. None of them apply to me because I lose my network connection when I have my laptop plugged in and I'm actively using the internet (for example, watch movies online). After trying "diagnose and repair" options, nothing seems to work. The only way I found to get internet again is to restart my computer. What makes it still more difficult, is that after that happens, my computer doesn't shut down normally. It freezes at the blue screen that says "shutting down". Whenever this problem with the network connection happens I am forced to make a difficult start (hold the power button until the power is off) if I want to use the internet again. It's only happened for about a month, and it's happened before and after that I installed Service Pack 2. I don't remember installing any software a month ago with the exception of Windows updates that I can't uninstall (the button uninstall is hidden for some updates). Any help I can get would be much appreciated because it is very frustrating to have hard to start my laptop several times a day in order to continue to work on this.

  I regret that no one answered earlier.

  Since you don't have physical access to the router, this will make the diagnosis very difficult.  And, given that this problem is intermittent, once again, very hard to track down what is causing the problem.  You can very well just to lose the intensity of the signal.

  I mentioned the switch on the laptop because if anything goes wrong, who "could" cause this problem, and given that the laptop is no longer under warranty, you will not be able to have your factory repair it (for free of course).

  I don't see what other suggestions from the Forum can give you.  Once again, with this problem being sparadic (intermittent) and since you share Internet access with someone else and do not have physical access to the router for troubleshooting purposes, my hands are basically related...

• Firfox is always loaded on my computer, but does not open. Would not open after that I did a restore (have XP).

  I did a restore (Windows XP). After that Firefox would not start. You can see the "Hourglass" for a second, but nothing happens. I tried the Mode SAFE Start and it wouldn't work. I went into the program file and tried to open with the .exe of the fie. Nothing, I don't don't want to lose my favorites by installing a new version. I have tried creating a new profile becauae I don't know if I can do it right or even if it would work.

  I advise that you think... a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. But it's not too difficult.

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  First, save your profile by saving a copy of the profile file... See: profiles of boards - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
     • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
     1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
     2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
