• Problems with a digital slide switch.

  Hi all

  First off thank you in advance for your help.  Here's a description of my problem.

  I try to use a digital slide switch to adjust my z-scale on a graph of intensity.  I use several images to create a high dynamic range (HDR) image and having a slide for my z-scale to adjust it on the fly is much easier to use then manually punching in numbers.  My problem is that I'm covering about 7 or 8 orders of magnitude from min to max in my z scale.  So I need, in order to see all the data in the HDR, the slide image to cover the range of the min max value of the image.

  When I put the mapping scale logarithmic slide, so I can more separation in the values and see and scale through the easier lower end, scaling is automatically truncated to onle 3 orders of magnitude.  This does not work for me, is there a way to fix this?

  Example:

  When I put the scale to be the minimum and the maximum of z on the graph of the intensity scale in the slide.  I have values of z scale 2.47E + 7 to the max and the min 0.  The maximum value on the scale of the slide = 2.47E + 7 and the min value = 2.47E + 4.  I need the minimum value is 0.

  Try to set the property Z Scale.Minimum a small positive value such as 0.1 or 0.001.

  I created a slider and a digital control.  The minimum slider is set to zero. The CNC is an integer ranging from 0 to 20. The maximum cursor is 10 ^ (numeric). The cursor is wired for the graphic intensity ZScale.Maximum property node.

  Works very well.

  Of course, I would put the changes in a structure of the event instead of writing to the nodes property on each iteration of the loop.

  I seem to have lost my master slide view button.  Who should be directly under the button Reset Master Slide.

  Any thoughts on how to get it back... and what I could do to make it go away?

  Captivate 8 or 9? Have you tried the window menu, Master must be registered to slide the Panel. I'm not sure, because I never use the beginner UI which is apparently the case for you. Have you already used reset classic, maybe that will help as well?

• Slide show buttons

  Does anyone know how to change the default slide show buttons which currently exist "<" photoshop buttons?

  Just select the next item in the (>) mode creation; Double-click it and remove the container more symbol (or the less - than symbol if you select previous) which is nothing else than the text. Now import and Place your Photoshop button somewhere on the page (Ctrl + B) and cut (to move it to the Clipboard). And then double-click the next/previous empty container and paste the button from the Clipboard as an Inline element.

• Highlight the button when the slide switches slide

  Hi all..

  I have the slideshow which works perfectly with the help of this forum... the 3 external loaded SWFS rotate with mitigation effect in / performed themselves as well as by clicking on the button. What I would add is to have the buttons change appearance (tint or whatever it is) - just to show what drag the user sees currently. I am very new to AS and I would appreciate it really is someone would just point me in a direction where I should place this function. Thank you very much advance - here's my code:

  The color of button mute Audio always on red although the sound turns power on and off when you press.  When the switch is turned off indicator turns white for a second.  Please suggest me the solution so that the mute button becomes red and white on the operation.

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  IDT Audio Driver - Windows 7.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When it finished, restart the computer again and check if the 'secret' led now changes colors correctly.

  I am a new user of Captivate 9 (no experience Captivate). I have a project with buttons to trigger changes multistate and navigate between slides. In most cases, the buttons change to a red/pink color when clicked. How can I control the style/color of a button when you click it to prevent this? I have the same result with an overview of the project and the published file. Thank you!

  Check the object for the buttons styles (you don't say what kind of button that you use) in the Style of the object (to be found in the preferences) Manager:

  

  Look for the button type you use (the screenshot is for the default Quiz button, you see there is also a button to default text style, and style to the other type of buttons, all forms have both possible States because they can be used as buttons). Expand the style (by using the triangle) and watch the rollover State. You can change this State, in a low State as well. It's not clear your question if you speak the turnaround or the Down State. It is the States integrated for the buttons. The color you see in the States depends on the theme you use in your project. Each theme has a theme color palette.

  It is normal that a button has these States, why would you want to have the same status for the three: normal, rollover, down? I have published a few articles to CP9, where you will see different types of States of the buttons, here are two links:

  I have a laptop Toshiba A200-13O. I broke the below, wireless button while it is switched OFF... my first question: is there another way I can activate the wireless?

  I have attached a VI that simulates what I'm working with right now... order 1 and 2 control simulating a sequence of control that I have who controls a valve... Control 1 opens the valve and 2 control closes the tap.  The counter in the Structure box should give me a way to sense "the hunt", which is basically when the valve moves too fast so he pulls past the set point and reversal, once he does so many times, in this case 5 times, a 'Real' signal is transmitted to the Signal LED and I am eager to make , it is consider as True and have this 'click' switch so my signals is redirected, and my current thinking is to have a flat structure sequence in a structure of event in order to use a node called "Reint to Default" and then change the value by default if effectivly flipping the switch back and forth. Once I get this figured out part so I'll be shortening the time the signal is sent to the valve.

  I have built this thing 20 different ways, but still can't make it fit... the 'real' counter is always just a single blip as the while loop runs.  Anyone here have any idea or suggestions on how to do.  All that I am really keen is the equivalent of a single pushbutton switch... push once and it's on, push another and it's off.   .. single .so True and it is, and then only real and it's off.  I don't know, maybe I just do it more difficult that it really is.

  Fair value the mechanical action Switched pressed instead of locking.  Then use local variables to switch state.  In other words, when you get the status of overtravel, write a fake to the local variable.  Switch when Pressed, it's like a push button switch.  Click once and it is enabled, click it again and it is off.  Just look at how you use local variables, so you do not have a race condition.

• Is there a shortcut or an alternative ot turn it on wireless when you lost the wifi because the switch button seems no longer works? my laptop is hp 8560w

  The switch for the wireless button is always orange and nothing happens when I press them.

  Its possible, you could go into the BIOS of the laptop and make sure that the wireless hardware is enabled (available on some models only). Consult this manual for possible help with that...

• How to stop a slide pause button?

  Hi, I use CP 9 on Windows 10.

  I'm 9 Essential Training on Lynda Captivate, and the teacher showed me how to use a form as a button to enable / disable subtitles.

  However, the shape is a pause the slide at some point, as you can see in the screenshot.

  (I can see from the video that the guardian is having exactly the same problem, but it does not it)

  How can I stop the pause button slide? I just want that he be sitting there for the entire project.

  Will not start ranting about the lack of comprehensiveness/good practice courses for Lynda.com Captivate (I like and I use it all the time, for other applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition,). The essential to know is the chronology (in basic training I always spend at least half a day for this feature), and you won't find much about it in training. For me, it's basic training!

  Go to the properties panel for this form button and turn off stopping there.

  I see you are using this form to a normal slide button. Why not put on the master slide main if you want for the whole project? Let me also indicate that your form is a break at 7 seconds, preventing several images to appear. The button will disappear at about 13, 5seconds, which means that the user will no longer have the ability to enable/disable CC? Longer life for the rest of the slide (CTRL-E).
