• Stop the slides automatically advance to the next slide

  It seems this would be a common request, but I can't find a solution anywere.
  Captivate automatically moves to the next slide when the previous slide ends. I would like to stop and wait for the user to click on the 'Next' button on the control of playback.
  I don't want to have to add another button 'Next' to each slide. It would be redundant and time consuming. I just want to use the next button in the playback controls. How can I get each slide to stop and take a break?

  Can I have answered my own question, BUT I would like to know if experts here have a better way to do this...

  Solution: Add a new text button to slide 1. Empty the text on this button. Select the option to make the button "transparent". Then copy the button to the Clipboard. Select all of the slides in the project. Hit the dough.

  All the slides have now a 'hidden' object that stops them. They can click on the next button in the playback controls to move forward at the end of each slide.

• LR6 will not automatically start when the memory card is inserted

  Hello

  Recently upgraded to LR6 from LR 5.7.1. When LR 5.7.1 was installed, it would automatically start when the memory card is inserted. With only LR6 installed it does not open when the memory card has been inserted.

  Yes, Autoplay is still trying to run LR5.

  There is a previous thread with notes on how to edit the Windows registry to resolve this problem, if you are comfortable doing.

• Why the CTI will not go away from the next?

  Hi all experts,

  I want to assure you that all my clips are aligned side by side without gap. I voluntarily leave a slight space between 8 & 9 clip and move my left & placed CTI on clip 2 (ie the left opening)

  So I test the function sequence > Goto Gap > following in the sequence but the CTI does not move!

  Why the CTI doesn't move right away between the clip 8 & 9 clip?

  Any ideas?

  Previous/next in the sequence will work only if there is a gap through all the titles in a sequence, video and audio. Instead, try next/previous on the track and make sure all (or part) of your tracks are targeted in the headers of the track.

  Have a new laptop with Windows 8, and although all of the checkboxes are checked for connection automatic wifi to internet I always have to do it manually.  Reset the computer laptop back to factory settings and started from scratch but still the same problem.

  I'm looking using Captivate quiz in some provided training based on html. I have this type of structure:

  Page html with a conceptual content.

  Html b. with a conceptual content page

  Page c. html which displays a Captivate quiz question

  Html d. with a conceptual content page

  When the user finishes the test successfully at point C, I want to automatically advance to the next page of the html (D).  I'm assuming I could use a tip action in the Quiz properties. In other words, 'the success = Execute advanced Actions', then to run our javascript gotoNextPage() function.  But it does not work. Is there a trick to do something like that?

  If you test this output on your computer, try to upload to a web server and test from there.

  I find a lot of actions executed in Captivate JavaScript works only when the content is served from a Web server.

  I have the same problem, but I use a USB cable to the radio.

  Everything worked fine until I upgraded to the latest IOS 9.2. Everything works fine on the computer, but on the phone that you only get to play a song.  If you keep hitting the shuffle icon it changes songs but it's a pain.

  Come on Apple just your updates are not good enough.  How about testing before releasing upgrades.

• Captivate 5: slides will not play automatically

  I am facing a problem with Captivate 5 (just starting to use it, in fact still a trial version but the full purchase in a few weeks) that I hope someone can help me with. I have a presentation of 32 slides with audio (imported by blade) and some animation boxes and setting highlighted on some slides. Animations and highlight boxes are synchronized with the audio. When I saw or publish it in format pdf, I noticed that it does not automatically play the slides. The audio starts automatically, but must press the play button to get the boxes/highlight to start animation timing. So if you press the play button 5 seconds after the start of the audio on a slide, and then the highlight boxes and animations will not match upward (they would be 5 seconds behind). In addition, the slides didn't automatically advances until you press the playback button (and the "timing" on the slide runs until the end).

  I thought it was something in terms of do not have autoplay, but I put it on auto run. I even played with having the preloader up to 0 to 100 just about everywhere in between. I also played with the settings of each slide to see if it was something in terms of the action of dragging out. I fixed to continue, and even updated no action (where I had to click on the next button to move forward), but then again, nothing helps.

  Also, where this is relevant, I have a next and back button each screen. On the first screen, I have a text entry box (I shoot the variable in another form), and the length of the blade is defined by the audio (a few seconds).

  What can I do to fix this? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

  What is the chronology of the first slide? I see not all objects, because you're talking about a text entry area that is not visible. What I see, is that you have a fade the first slide and the 2 buttons pause the slide to about 1.5 seconds after the start. The slide itself seems to be much longer than the audio, unlike what you said in your question, or you have an object much later? In this case, the problem is with the two buttons that do a break before this object. Could you post a screenshot of the full chronology of the first slide, maybe what you see is only linked to that?

• How can I prevent Captivate to advance to the next slide, after the end of the audio and I click on click to show/hide sidebar box?

  I currently have a slide that plays audio.  While usage is listening to the narration that I can click on three different click the boxes with advanced actions to open and close text boxes, I want the user to read the value.  When reading narrative ends and I'll click on the boxes to click to read a text box, it moves to the next slide.  I understand that I may have to replace the box with smart buttons click but I don't know how to stop the progression to the next slide.  I already have a next button that is put on pause until the user clicks.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm on a tight schedule.

  Quickly, I created a sample file, just have a slide with three form buttons that act as the toggles and a next button. The first three buttons break late exactly at the same time and the next button.

  Since it's the slide by clicking the audio stops no audio at all (common misunderstanding). I created a shared action, with the purpose to display and the variable (mine are labeled v_one instead of v_visib) as parameters:

  This problem occurs if a service that is required for Windows Update or Microsoft Update is not registered.
