Slow rate of AirPlay

I use AirPlay to get streaming football online (from the Australia, is not available outside the internet streaming via browser) my MacBook Pro (via the wifi of 5 MHz) to my Apple TV and then (via HDMI) to my TV big screen. When the action on screen is fast (i.e. 90% + screen redesigned between the ribs), it becomes very bad on the TV due to the loss of images: according to my estimate, it falls to 3 images per second. The frame rate video of MacBook Pro is much better and watchable, is not a streaming problem, but a problem of airtime. I'm using the latest Mac OS, not sure of the Apple TV. How can I improve the frequency of images on the big screen?

  1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
  2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
  4. Restart your computer.

If you're still having problems, try disabling bluetooth, if it is enabled, also try to use 802.11n for wifi if you are currently using 802. 11B or 802. 11 g. You can also try to remove any other software associated with the screen sharing or streaming to remote screens that you may have installed at one time.

  • Slow down the AirPlay - Apple TV does not work properly :-(

    Hello.

I had a problem of airplay slow play movies, DVD or any video support 720 p or higher on my old one year Apple AirPlay and new Panasonic TV. I've been through problem solving, including restore and optimize my Telus router (which has 2.5 Mbps upload and download of 25mbps speeds) on an Apple Support phone call and was then advised to take my camera to Apple, BC Richmond Genius Bar (case ID: 1045139977).

When I arrived they had me down as a problem Apple Watch, and then once they realized that it was a problem of the Apple TV me (despite what it says on the original packaging - I still have) it is normal for an Apple TV, reading of a film, and you cannot broadcast any video without a few jerks about about every 3 seconds. They suggested that I use a hdmi cable directly to the computer laptop and then tried to upsell, me a new Apple TV unit which they said it was much better, but "still could have the question!

To say that I was surprised is an understatement, and a household with 4 iPhones, three Macbooks and a new Mac Pro, I was appalled by the level of service and selling the tactics.

    (1) if the device will not show a movie of 720 p, then market it as such is very hypocritical. Is this correct?

    (2) given that the assistance service knew it, so why waste my time sending me in a bar to put genius to to try to sell me another product? They have no diagnosis on the unit other than connect to confirm my question - and a clip ran slow and jerky in the store with their own TV and router.

In the past, I received good support from Apple, but looks like things are going downhill fast if this is the new business model and the service. :-(

It looks more like your network. I have several ATVS (gen 2,3,4) and always listen to content 1080HD homeshare/airplay without any issues that you note.  Since homeshare/AirPlay uses LAN speed from your ISP has zero impact (unless your broadcast outside as vendors, Netflix, iTunes, etc.).  There might be local interference that is nearby, appliances, etc., it could be setting of firewall/router that has repercussions Hello.  For example, in my cabin, I came across a similar problem, every 10-15 minutes, we arrived to realize that it is a pump water on the line of property installed by the Department of Forrest.  I ended up building an enclosure for the pump with the insulation. 5 years later I had no recurrence...

FWIW, it's a community of user to user support - Apple isn't here.

  • Slow rate pass on 5 GHz Band [e3200 + macbook pro osx 10.7.3]

    Ok...

Just got the e3200 dual band about a month ago and today he just started in place.

The 5 GHz band has a bit rate of about 25% of what makes the 2.4 ghz band.  It's funny, because 5 GHz is supposedly less interference to treat.

I thought it was a problem with osx, so I upgraded to 10.7.3, but always with the same result.  Then I played a bit with the different settings, but always the same results.  I gave and got on a chat session with the support that brought me to Flash the e3200 with the firmware file, reset and reconfigure.  Guess what... 5 GHz still slow.

Someone at - it suggestions?  I've tried everything under the Sun - software/firmware is all current, no major obstacles blocking the router, tried them all not mixed Firewall [-n] has, power modes, different bands... am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated before going it one out of warranty.

    Thank you.

I know that other users say that the 5 GHz band is weird then call Cisco would probably be your best option. Generally, if there is a real problem, you'll have a case manager who will work with you to get a replacement, see if the issue must be examined, etc..

  • W540 - CPU stuck at slow rate

    Hi all

Had a w540 for a few days and so far, it would be nice.

This weekend I used the laptop on battery power for a long time and thus to define the bottom of the power management to save energy

However, today have switched back to power and power control performance max CPU is always concerving power.

Its operation (according to the Resource Manager) at 29%, and little matter how I do it sticks to this percentage.

The laptop feels his market at this clock speed too... everything is super slow... can watch programs drawing on the screen...

    Someone knows what could happen?

    Thank you

Weird, removed the power cable and replugged and kicking suddenly back to life.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9300 - slow rate on EDGE

My 1st question is: is the BB 9300 3 or EDGE. Whenever I go on facebook it takes time for comments/photos to open. I don't have a lot of music on my phone. Last night I had bluetooth 25 songs on my phone. I don't have 8 photos and videos on my phone. I don't have other unnecessary applications. I noticed that this phone going between 3G and EDGE. When his EDGE on so I can put the phone away so I can't do anything.
My 2nd question: why when I download "free", as world radio applications, and when I use it, I have to pay. My service provider is unable to know that this is an application of BB.
question 3: if I have audio listen to a local radio station (www.lovefm.co.za) then I experience constant buffering. According to the radio host, I'm the only one that this experience. What can I do?
One of the reasons why I got the BB9300 is because there has been problems of slow response. And now with the 9300 it feels worse. Can someone help me please?

You can assign this slow, Standard and quick.  This dictates the way the camera set your ISO - or rather your shutter speed - mode Av and P.  In SLOW setting, the camera will keep the ISO lower, sacrificing the shutter speed - slower (at the standard) and likely to be moved from movement.  In the FAST, the unit set the ISO high (closer to the Max ISO setting) so that the shutter speed will be faster (in the standard).

If you use a tripod or light is so abundant, together to Slow rate change.  On the reverse, the QUICK value for the action scenes (where you need the speed higher shutter).  For the rest, the STANDARD value.

  • 2012 the Mac Mini has sluggish 5 GHz Wi - Fi

    OK, this is weird.

Suddenly, my Mac mini is to have WiFi connections intermittently slow on the 5 GHz band, a router Linksys WRT-1900AC.

I have a 105 MB Comcast connection, and usually tests Speedtest.net Mini cede passage on 100 Mbps results, usually in the 120 Mbps.

This morning, I started having intermittent slowness. Sometimes I would grind to a halt, or there would be a long time to connect to a website. Speedtest pings during these episodes would be too high that 990 - in general, they are about 14 ms.

The 2.4 GHz connection, which generally gives me a slower rate in the range of 50 Mbps, is fine. The only issues I see are at 5 GHz, where I have the chance to get a speed in the range of 30 to 50 Mbps.

All other devices - iPads, iPhones, MacBook Pro, 4th-gen Apple TV, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - connect at 5 GHz very well. I get my gears zippy on other devices. Just not the Mini.

I rebooted the router and the modem. I emptied the cache DNS on the Mini. I deleted the Linksys SSD in Network preferences then reconnected. I removed the Mac Mini map of the network of the Linksys firmware and restored. So far, nothing works.

One thing to note: a few weeks ago, I installed a couple of SSD in the Mini, replacing a single stock of HARD drive. Which is to remove the antenna plate (and everything else inside the Mini). But I re-assembled very well, and it has been working fine since then. I think that if there is a problem with the antenna, it would affect the 2.4 GHz band, too.

Also, we moved into a new apartment in the same complex, taking our Comcast service with us. It worked fine when I put in place Sunday and worked a lot since then. But the Mini is in a new location on the block.

Any suggestions for what to do next?

If possible, please connect to the router with Ethernet and see if there is an improvement.

  • PCI-6602 Initial delay

    Hello

Currently, I use the code below to run counters to a frequency fixed/market factor.  After the first counter triggers the rest of the counters, take turn of shooting using the terminal of initial delay on the creation of the channel vi.  It works well and keeps them all to shoot at a time.

Now, I need to change the frequency/duty cycle once per second for 70 seconds (70 different points table) and repeat until I want to stop.  I'm able to do it without any problem.

My problem is to put my initial delay each second based on my frequency to keep a nice ripple effect.  In order to define the initial deadline, I have to stop the task.  Is there another way to keep the evenly spaced counters (a beautiful ripple) depends on the frequency without stop the task?

I'm assuming that your need to stagger the injectors 'cooking' means that you are concerned by the timing of the active edges of the pulse.  Whether rising asset or fall may not be particularly relevant if we can just make them very short duration.

    1. I would like to begin by suggesting understand you the max freq reasonable you'll never need to host and then plan to stagger the firings through this same interval of time even when you operate at a slower rate that will simplify things considerably.

2 configure all of your counters in slaves to be redeclenchables (as you already are), but REMOVE the call to Timing.vi DAQmx they will all then be generators of redeclenchables pulse.  Keep have triggered them by CTR0, the master clock.

3 set the slaves in terms of time of low / high time.  Assuming the State of inactivity which is low (the default if I remember correctly), each 'initial period' equal to this unique 'small time' counters and define the minimum 'big time' can accommodate your system.

Note: unless the behavior has changed in more recent versions of DAQmx, the value of 'initial period' is used after 1st relaxation while the "small time" value is used for all of the following triggers.  Don't ask * me * why, but NEITHER people have weighed in on this subject in the preliminary discussions, calling it of "expected behavior".   EXPECTED by which is exactly what I wonder.  I have yet to see a single comment saying: ' Yes, great, that's just how I * wanted * he behave. "   IN ANY CASE...

    4. start all your slave counters before you run the master.

    5. the freq of the main counter can be changed on the fly without stopping and reprogramming it.  All counters of the slave will continue to draw a single impulse per side assets of the master.

6 speculative idea, I haven't checked.  You can * probably * update of low time / pairs high time the slave of counters on the fly as well.  If so, this will allow you to broadcast the 'ripple' overall most of the available range during operation at low speed.  It seems that your application can live with the possibility that these updates of the slave synchronization cannot occur in the same cycle of pulse master.

  • Period measurement error 20308

I'm trying to measure the period of a very slow rate (Hz 0,083) to come to my DAQ (6009).

However, it comes with "error-20309 occurred at the" NI_MAPro.lvlibulse measures 1 chan.vi:2 "when it is called of" NI_MAPro.lvlibulse measures N chan.vi:1 "(waveform index 0 1)". "

DQA captures method is set on "on demand" however I also tried various (frequency + buffer) such as 10 k by 2 k.

but it always comes up with the error.

I know why it comes up with this error but do not know how to fix it.

I have attached the vi (the signal to simulate reply my DAQ)

Because you'll probably want at least 2 cycles whole to your measurements, and each cycle lasts approximately 12 seconds, I would get 25 seconds of data at 50 Hz (1250 samples)

  • sbRIO-9642 digital input maximum input frequency

    Hello

I would like to know what is the maximum frequency of entry for the 24V sbrio 9642 DI.

    Thanks for your help

    Gil Maor

If you use the NI CompactRIO (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7338) scan Mode, then your maximum update frequency is 1 kHz. Scan mode still uses the FPGA, but it does not need to write the FPGA code. To learn more about scanning interface, read the link above as well as this one:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7693#toc1

Now, if you use a meter with scan mode, he can read entries counter at a high rate - it will just update the code in real time at a slower rate (up to 1 kHz).

  • Problem error 200019

    Hello

I use simple vi to acquire the data of 4 analog inputs (photo attached), but I get this error message 200019. I use PCI-6251(16-Bit, 1 MS/s (Multichannel), 1.25. MECH / s (1-channel), 16 inputs analog) card. At lower rates, it will work perfectly, but when I try to acquire samples of 5 M to the sampling frequency of 1 M I get this error. I tried the internal/external clock / ref 10 Mhz clock / and different combinations but problem still presists. Even at a slower rate (900K / 800K) the same thing happens.

    Help please,

    Sine

    Hi Sine,

I'm not surprised that your device will work slightly above the rate in the specifications.  Remember, though, that your device has an ADC.  As read you through several channels, they must obtain a dial both to the ADC.  The reason why that unit has a lower rate specified for the case of using several channels is to give time to this circuit to settle during the passage of the channel on the channel.  The ADC itself can operate at the same speed (a little above), which is consistent with the behavior that you saw.  Regarding the unit I have recommended, I simply looked at the DPI of the device that you use (16 bits) and the rate / number of channels that you were trying to get data from.  If you do not need 16-bit resolution, a cheaper alternative can be the PCI-6132.

To answer your question concerning the size of the buffer.  To do this, I think you'll need to use VI lower than the DAQ Assistant.  To do this, I recommend one of the two methods.  You can view the examples provided with DAQmx (Bar Menu of LabVIEW--> help-> find examples-> hardware input and output-> DAQmx-> Analog measures-> voltage).  In this list, I would recommend selecting Ack & chart voltage-Int Clk.vi.  The other method is to right click on your DAQ Assistant VI and select generate DAQmx Code. In both cases, you will see lower level DAQmx VI and how they are used to set up a task.  To change the size of the buffer, you must insert DAQmx Configure input Buffer.vi before you call on your task.  This VI allows you to specify the size of the buffer that DAQmx acquires.

    Hope this helps,

    Dan

  • AVI check and incompatibility of FPS

    Hello

My vi takes pictures of the camera, now when I try to save an avi file for future reference that does not match the frames per second avi and the FPS from my main software causing black frames in the avi. I was wondering what is the best approach to capture an AVI while software major changes FPS? Is it possible to remove the images of an avi file or is it possible to save just an avi just relevant frameworks?

    Thank you

    Hello

Did you look in the help file on AVI functions? Here is an excerpt: "Note   images / second indicates the rate of reading of the AVI you want you create." AVI may play at a slower rate according to the performance of the system on which he plays. "If you have lag, I would recommend to intervene on your software and the camera settings to the match. If you want to keep your current FPS, you can take a look at the architecture of producer/consumer for your images. Your producer loop would make the acquisition of the images and your loop of consumers should save images in an AVI file. Here is an example of such an architecture with pictures: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5859 .

  • HP pavilion G4 Notebook Power Performance related issue

The product name and number : hp Pavilion G4 - 101 5 dx Notebook PC

    Operating system : Windows 7

    Question:

When I plugin the power supply, I play the game smoothly. BUT when I unplug the power supply the game starts to run slowly. The frame rate starts to become slow. The game is fully compatible with my computer. I have also kept the power to high-performance, but still does not work. Can someone help me with it? I can't afford to play the game in such a slow rate, when my computer is running on battery. This issue is not only with a single game, but with all of the others also...

This issue could be due to the switchable graphics on your laptop. As soon as you unplug the device, the laptop uses the graphics card integrated to save battery, which reduces the FPS in the game and it starts the slow race.

Open Catalyst Control Center and configure switchable graphics to use the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card even when you run out of battery.
