• Equium A100: Crisp & slows down sound while the use of CP's high

  When I play a cd/dvd, or extract the contents of cd for laptop, or whatever it is which includes the use of the D: drive, the sound is all distorted and crunchy and slows down. also, the CPU usage is very high, and it won't let me write anything on disks.

  This has happened a few months now, it was workin perfectly before hand and I've only had the phone since Christmas, so it is still under warranty. It's an equium A100 series.

  I've been looking around on the forums and found athread on a similar problem but on a laptop satellite, and which was resolved by a new drive being installed because the original was defective. the link to this thread is:

  so is that what someone had the same problem? does anyone know if a new hard drive would solve the problem on my laptop? and if not does anyone have any suggestions?

  Equium A100 is very similar to the Satellite A100. So maybe it's really a problem even as described in the other thread.

  But listen David, before you send the laptop and want to replace the HDD try first to reinstall the OS from the recovery CD!

  Try everything first format the whole HARD drive, erase the partitions and reinstall the OS.

  If this does not help, it would be wise to check, if the same thing would happen with the new HARD drive!

• Pavilion 15 - ab219tx: Internet slows down after connecting the mobile to WiFi.

  Previously, I had a problem where internet connection slowed down painfully when cell phone charges. I tried to reset the power settings. Now I can connect to the laptop... However, now the problem is that if connect you to WiFi via the laptop, regardless of if its loading or not, the internet becomes ridiculously slow. And if the wifi is turned off, it returns to normal. Help, please.

  Thanks for your reply. I review the post. I understand that drivers are a bit old. I first want to eliminate hardware issues with the computer's wireless card by performing all the steps which are associated software.

  I understand perfectly that WiFi and wired Ethernet connection both seem to be slow.

  A few steps to try:

  • Disable all firewalls and antivirus, including ten windows programs have antivirus programs and firewalls.
  • Try mode safe mode with networking to check if the Internet connection is fast. Try the wired and wireless options.
  • Link to the safe mode with networking is given in my previous post. Please try this.
  • Uninstall the existing network adapters and update the bios chipset network adapters and (wired and wireless) from this link: http://hp.com/drivers
  • Please try to change the channel of the router with another value. Try different channels work. that could help for the wifi only.
  • Try to perform a clean boot in windows 10 using this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/kb/929135

  • Then create a new user profile and try to connect wifi french and using a wired connection.
  • Then as a last resort try to restore system to factory setting and check if that helps after you back up all your files.

  Does anyone else have a problem with Creative cloud slows down the entire computer. • Slow down and mix the effect works only together

  I have 2 footages from 2 different cameras that recorded the same event and I use Premiere CS6.

  I each sequence of a video track and slow them down to 40%. So I want to use the mixing effect, so in the last third of a scene, the other comes into play, since the camera 2 was set for a close shot.

  However, although mix effect works fine with scenes that are in the original speed, I couldn't make it work when the speed is changed! It seems that it goes with a totally different clip - that exists in the timeline and is in the same way that I wanted to stage 2 to blend.

  For the moment I change the speed setting (or time-remapping), loses the stage 2, in which I applied the effect mix, is the reference for scene 1.

  Any thoughts on how mix slowed the scenes without having to export the first slowed then merger of the output files?

  I see that there is certainly a problem. I put one clip on another and used the mix to 50%. Worked well. I changed the two clips to 40%, and the clip with the effect looks like it's on the frame to hold on to the last image. A bug for sure.

  Perhaps you'd be happier with a cross dissolve transition between the two elements? At least until the bug is fixed. I suggest that you put in a bug report. I'll do the same.

  Not sure if this should be posted in "performance and maintenance", but since these updates, my boot time slowed. My computer is a month and must not already have these problems of law?

  Please type k in StartMenu Searchfield, click keyboard. In the window that opens on the speed tab you can set how fast the keys are repeated.

• Color Laserjet 5550dtn: slow down communication with the configuration of the printer

  My Color Laserjet 5550dtn suddenly lost the capacity of its network - as evidenced by the disappearance of the network address in the printer display panel.   I replaced the jetdirect 615n card, and I could then access the installation of I/O again and set the address of the printer that it had before (192.168.1.106)

  The printer seems to work OK, but when I try to access the printer via my browser, using its address, screens appear, but after a very long delay - sometimes up to two or three minutes.   Similar delays occur every time I have change the Access tab.

  I put the mask 255.255.255.0, and the DNS server on 192.168.1.1 (the address of the router system) and have disabled other protocols except TCP/IP.

  I don't remember the exact settings I had before, so is there anything else I may have missed that causes this extremely slow response?

  Sorry for not answering before, but my wife is damaged the problems of column vertebral too take precedence over all the rest for a while.

  I started to have more problems, leading to no communication via the ethernet card at all and only work with USB connection.   I bit the bullet and bought another printer of opportunity - without the cartridges of ink, which works very well, and commicates quickly to local net address.

  I saved some of the components of the old machine, so the expense was not so bad really.

  The original machine was always a little suspicious, but it was also used, maybe, I had a bad Control Board.

  I cannot save files from Photoshop on my internal HD on a 24 "imac with 4 GB of RAM. This problem started only recently and is happening in CS3 and CS4 on the same machine. HDD internal 1 TB and has 380 GB of available space.

  If I save on a HD external and everything is fine and the files recording within seconds, as expected. I did drive repairs and permissions controls / repairs using disk utility and all are ok.

  Any ideas as to what could be causing this? A kind of preference which is perform both CS3 and CS4 maybe?

  Hi, I couldn't follow it all, but

  How much space do you have

  Highlight the icon for your hard drive and command + i (get info)

  How many GB are available

  Then,.

  you have booted from the installation DVD and ran

  Disk utility > repair disk

  you have all the results (errors) in red text

  If disk utility can't repair their departure DiskWarrior (or erase, restore backup)

  have you created a new and updated trial user account

  did you run the last Apple COMBO UPDATE for your operating system

  did you run all the Apple and Adobe updates

  have you used a utility like OSX Cocktail to release your caches and run all your maintenance scripts

  have you given zero (ZAP) the LANDAU and rest the logic board (which can be called a PMU reset on an iMac, not sure)

  have you added any 3rd party software that may interfere with the operating system Finder

  have you added photoshop plugins

  (can check you put a similar screenshot of your plugins):

  (to take a capture of screen, Option + shift + 4, then do drag the area you want, and then insert a picture on your answer)

  

  Finally, if nothing else works, you can better served by erasing your hard drive and starting over (backup Time Machine can save your bacon, unless the problem has been saved to your backup)...

• Slow down execution of the program for a home network

  Can anyone help? My Satellite Pro A60 short on my network and everything is fine but when I connect it to my network wireless home any program (and anyone) takes about 1 minute to open, once the open program this program will work fine and fast. If I eject air wireless is fine and all other programs very quickly. This delay occurs for ANY program that you care to open - Solitare even!

  It will be interesting to know if this happens right at the beginning or all the time so that the WIFI is enabled. If this happens right at the beginning, it may be possible that the unit will search automatically for certain network files or even printers. • Envy 14: HP Envy running very hot (slows down periodically during the video)

  I would like to get information on how to properly clean my HP Envy 14 laptop fans, number of product B4B14UA #ABA. I tried to use boxes of air through the ventilation openings, but I'm able to accomplish turns too fast the fans. I'm unable to remove dust. It is a laptop I've owned for about 2 years.

  I suspect that the fans/vents are blocked because the winds blow warm air and the base of the laptop is almost too painful to sit on my legs. The upper part of the keyboard runs hot along the strip of aluminum above the function keys.

  Although the use of the battery for several hours, now it takes an hour, running minimum settings due to the heat. In addition, while playing video, the computer will freeze and cause the video to stutter occasionally. I tried a computer laptop cooling pad, but it doesn't seem to be the problem.

  So, in summary, I would like to know whether or not to clean my laptop fans would void its warranty (if it still exists) and whether or not fans of cleaning would be possible for a layman.

• Move image image in the develop module slowed down considerably in the last version of LR

  I am a user of long date LR and use a fast PC Win10 (32 GB DDR4 RAM, SSD, GT 740 video discs, CPU i7 etc.) and the last LR update (or is this the one just before it) has radically changed the speed I can go from one image to the image in the develop module.

  I read about a memory leak problem but with 32 GB DDR4 memory 2133 speed I never noticed the RAM usage (perhaps 25%?) so I don't think that is the question.  Something has changed in LR and Adobe to remedy.  The downturn is really affecting my work and I make my living in this way! Adobe, please help us!

  Try to uncheck the option preferences > performance > CPU graph use.

• Video games slow down the computer even when closed?

  Recently, I replaced the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE with a 8400 GS PCI Express so that I can play Call of Duty 4, Fallout 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, etc. After installation of the new equipment, several problems came. I have a 32-bit of Windows Vista Home Premium.

  1. the "Windows experience index" could not evaluate the 8400 GS.
  2. Windows could not find the driver for the 8400 GS software automatically, then I found myself from www.nvidia.com.
  3. Although games played much more quickly after any where between 5 and 30 minutes of games, the computer goes REALLY slow. Yet once I close the games via the Task Manager, the computer continues to accuse. Icons highlight more slowly, for example. It remains for 5 to 10 minutes before returning to its original state.

  It could have been a problem plant material so I reinstalled the driver/3 times already.
  I have cleaned the registry of the computer, defragmented it and the two drives C and D.
  Problem persists.

  Help, please? Otherwise I'm going to get a new video card that is not too good.

  Looks like you're having overheating problems. Everything works fine until the internal temperature reaches a certain point, then the system slows down to protect the processor failure. When you leave the high demands of the games that you play, the card can cool down a bit and things pick back up. Take a look at your map and see if there's a fan built in. If this is not the case, try to join one. If so, try to take the case out of your pc to see what happens. If it works fine, then you must install some additional cooling in your case to dissipate heat coming builing. The other scenario is that you could have a defective 8400 GS. You could try to Exchange if it is still under warranty.

• Firefox slows down for several minutes, as if (possibly), it seems "reoganise".

  Hello!

  Every once in a while, Firefox slows down a lot, the use of the CPU (for Firefox) exceeds to 95pct and there is a lot of drive actuvuty. Then after a minute or so, it starts again to normal.

  What does Firefox do? Is this normal/expected behavior? 'Help' Firefox if it needs to have something cleaned?

  I use Archlinux.

  Some quick ideas (in the order that I would try them):

  • Clear your cache. It is possible that some of your cache files are corrupt and Firefox chokes on them.
  • Try to disable the Flash plugin. My experience with Flash on Linux has been less than stellar, and I would not be surprised if it causes problems. If it turns out that the Flash is the issue, you should try grabbing the newest alpha/beta 10.2 and see if that fixes it.
  • Try to open Firefox in safe mode. Which will disable your extensions and many custom settings.
  • Try to start a new profile (be sure to keep the old). There could be something wrong with your current profile (which contains all user-specific data).

  It will obviously be a pain to test if it happens only once a day or two, but that's all I can think about. Best of luck, it attaches, and with a little luck, someone else will have a more specific patch.
