Smart cover

I have a smart cover for my ipad, 3rd generation, can be used on the 9.7 pro?

I would check the specifications. I think not possible, there are differences in sizes. I found this with my iPad Mini 4 compared to the original iPad Mini.

    Hi all

I noticed that there is no rust on my iPad Pro 9.7 "Smart Cover.

I know, it's just a little place, but I'm still worried because it happened with my previous of the Smart Cover iPad (iPad 3).

My previous Smart Cover is not only damaged, my previous iPad has been damaged. This is why I am so worried about it.

I really want a solution for this, is there a way to prevent it from rusting?

Please, if you can answer that, let me know!

Because it contains no iron, it cannot rust. Can't tell your out-of-focus photo is that this little finger. Have you tried to wipe off with a cleaner appropriate? Which side of the cover it is activated, the smooth or blur?

  • New iPad 9.7 Pro smart cover feels cheap toxic plastic

Feel a little ripped off having bought a product 'Pro '. All this experience on their new 'pro '?

Each Smart Cover I ever owned (since my first Pad 2 and until my most recent mini iPad 4) had a separate 'smell' he who eventually dispersed over time... I say just give it time to "ventilate".

  • How to clean the rose Smart Cover for mini iPad 4

    Nice day

I've got this mini iPad in a pink box Smart Cover 4. I used to use the stand many times because it's much pleasant to use in this way. However, after a few days, I noticed that the inside part of the cover of the screen picked up dirt and got more dirty so I stopped to use it as a stand and when I do, I put in something like cloth to cover the support to the surface where I'll put it on. How to clean it? As it seems to be a real leather or Microfiber, or what they call this, in my view, it is dangerous to use cleaners or detergent or alcohol to clean. I tried dry cloth, but it is not effective.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Z2 Vibe Pro Lenovo - Lenovo Smart cover

Anyone of you has the original cover of lenovo for Z2 Pro?

It is true that the phone automatically recognizes that the cover is closed and swithces on the clock for the small mode window?

If I pull the phone out of my pocket to watch the time, the phone screen would probably turned off. If I press the power button, it will turn on the entire screen or the only clock in the little window? It would be nice of defiting the purpose of the small window, if you know what I mean.

I saw in the previous version of the coverage you might swip on the cover to receive calls, now with teas new cover Z2 Pro you have to physically open the lid to take the call?

    Thank you.

    Hi Pat,

Sorry - I misunderstood your first post. Of course, when the lid is closed, it is useful that pressing the button power turn clock mode. However, it may be as well to have the possibility of opening the lid (not in clock mode but asleep) passes the phone directly to the home screen, if you do not have to press the power button.

Perhaps that this is impossible (as I know) because the cover doesn't seem to work by a magnetic mechanism therefore can actually open up quite easily when it's in your pocket. I also imagine that it can drain the battery.

What is also strange is that when I move the lockscreen in settings to 'none', then without the cover, that's what I get: no lockscreen - pressing the power button goes straight to the home screen. However, with the coverage, if the screen is off and you open the cover and press the power button, you still get a lockscreen and therefore have to swipe to get to the home screen. Therefore, in general, it is better to wake up to the phone with the power button before opening the cover.

The cover is very thin; the outside is made of a kind of mast very plastic faux leather that has a sense rather similar to paper. The Interior is made of textured rubber. The quality is quite good.

    1. the window is made of clear plastic (which attracts fingerprints).
    2. the window of the camera is just a hole and the more coverage it raises before the camera sticking out (which is a good thing).

Overall, coverage picks up the phone to 7.7 mm to 12mm, which is acceptable.

I bought it on alza. lenovoonline.SK has it, but for a similar price. I'm sure you can get something similar considerably cheaper on aliexpress or amazon, but I couldn't guarantee quality, functionality, delivery times and costs, etc..

    Kind regards

  • Lower angle of view on smart keyboard

Is it possible to fold the new smart keyboard for the iPad Pro at a lower angle to the drawing?  All I can see on apples site are angles for viewing and typing.  It would be a shame if, after spending so much money that I had to use anything else whatsoever under the iPad to support up to a lower angle.

    N °

The smart keyboard cover have only two fixed positions.

It is because the cover design and the way it folds for use.

If two angles are too extreme for you, you will have to find a way to support the iPad at an angle more natural for the drawing.

I, personally, did not like the angles for the smart keyboard cover.

Your only other option is to return the keyboard cover, if you have had this less than 14 days and buy the plain ole' smart cover and buy a Bluetooth keyboard to separate to use with your iPad Pro material.

That's exactly what I did so I could have a folded in a blanket a lower angle to the drawing.

If I need to type, I have the ability to use the software keyboard when my iPad is still stalled in the lower position to angle for the drawing or sketch, OR I can support for visualization or homonyms with my separate Bluetooth keyboard or with other devices that I use with my iPad Pro.

    Good luck.

  • Keyboard Smart Corrosion on the side of the tape?

    Hello

Wanted to see if anyone with iPad Pro and Smart keyboard has had the same problem. Today, I removed my iPad case protection Pro to clean a bit and also removed the smart keyboard which I had not removed since purchased. approximate, 2 months ago. When I removed the part of the magnetic strip on the keyboard, immediately noticed two spots with brown "corrossive' as of the tasks in the right part of the intelligent connectors (if the screen of the iPad in front before). Past my fingers on top of the magnetic stripe and brown spots came to my finger exactly as corrosion. It is that some types of build has happened during these two months. It wasn't there at the time of purchase. Immediately checked on the side of the iPad to see and it was worse. Some how this 'corrosion' is also a place on the side of aluminum ipad, she was a brunette too and if I pass my finger nail through it, it feels as if it caused a rift in size very micro in the surface of the ipad. This product is relatively new on the market, came here to the Commission to see if it had happened to someone and see if it's a problem. Your comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

    BestRegards, David

This also happens to my Pro keyboard Smart 9.7 iPad. I already traded once at my nearest AT & T store (in addition to the one year warranty) and I'm going tomorrow to exchange it again since presents the same rust spots. Before the smart Apple keyboard, I used the Smart Cover (color of the stone) and always as new as the same day. I wonder what is happening with the quality of the Smart keyboard.

  • iPad Pro cover/Stand for movies in bed

    Hello

I got my mom a Pro iPad mainly so that she can watch movies and tv shows on netflix. And usually, she likes to watch in bed. It allows to use his Macbook, which she lay on the mattress or uneven rugs and just look.

Now, with the iPad pro, it's more complicated because the Smart Cover requires a flat-ish surface so that it can act as a stable support. The bed and covers with one person changing the position sometimes makes the iPad tilt to the wire and in the fall with the Smart Cover.

There really are tons of products out there. If anyone has experience with specific coverage or support or the lid/base that works well in bed with iPad pro, let me know!

    Thank you

  • How to disable the Smart Slate screen 8.

I have a slate of 8 pro with a smart cover which is not so smart. The magnets are continually turn on the screen and my battery is drained.

I want to disable Smart mode of the screen. I don't want to have the Tablet without cover.

Hi dharo, welcome to the Forums of HP. According to me, the idea of a "smart cover' relies on a proximity devices sensor. When it is covered, he must put the unit in standby, and vice versa. In theory, you can disable the proximity sensor should remove this behavior. I don't know if the option is directly in the settings, but there are many applications 3rd party that allows to disable the proximity sensor. I have not tried any of these applications, but I suspect that some would require root access. I hope you can find one that doesn't work. Read carefully, because you are looking for available applications. Let me know how it turns out.

  • After IOS 10.0.2, camera will not close

Just did the upgrade to the new IOS, and now everytime I open my phone or my pad, the camera is open and will not close. Reboots do not help.

Hello. Can you explain more? You open the smart cover or click on the Home button and immediately see the camera? You should see the lock with a message screen to press home to open. The lock screen is now configured with the page today (widgets) on the left and on the right camera, so you can drag to get access without having to open the iPad. If you enter the camera, by error, by clicking on home leaves you.

  • Magnetic detector

My locking/unlocking of my ipad air sensor 2 no longer works so I was wondering if there's a failure or the screen in tempered glass protector can cause this. (it covers the camera picture and everything)

    Hi MahmoudFarag2,

It appears from your description of the issue, that the sensor that would detect a Smart Cover on your iPad no longer works. I know it's important to have your iPad lock automatically when you close it, so I'm happy to help you.

To start, make sure that you have turned on to lock/unlock. You can find it under settings > brightness and display > lock/unlock.
