Smart way to propagate the IP address addy?

OK, so I got my wrp400 mostly working. The problem I am always face is that incoming calls always have an audio course. They can hear me, I can't hear them... so after a bit of research and testing and reading and manipulation, I found that it worked:

Setings SIP...

Substitute VIA Addr--> Yes

EXT IP--> my.public.ip.address

I don't have a public static IP, however. So it's not a long-term solution.

The problem, of course, is that the vocal part of the wrp400 sends its local IP (10.0.0.xxx) on as its public IP address even if the wrp400 full DMZ, all ports for the public IP assigned and are opened through the wrp400. Basically, he doesn't know the IP address of the real world.

Why this only happens on incomming calls mash (IMO) revealing some automatic detection that allows the external network router to do with outgoing calls, but on specific incoming calls it internally... it shows just the wrong addy.

Is there a setting that will force the use of external vs internal IP information?

I'm not sure that differences with a WRP400 and other Linksys/Sipura devices, but the WRP400 is described in the Guide of Administration of ATA even it should be similar to other maps.

The NAT Mapping Enable parameter causes the adapter to use its external ip address, if this address is known. The key word here is known. If she does not know the external address, it will use the address he knows, the local network address.  There are several ways that the adapter can discover its external ip address.  One way, as you have learned, is to hardcode the address in the IP EXT: field.  This announcement DogFace05 describes two complementary ways:

I have found that if you have a proxy configured to register and the registration is successful, if he has received = and a rport = on the sip 200 OK message in response to check the adapter will save the external address and port number back if you asked to do in the receipt handle VIA: / handle VIA rport: the Sip tab settings.  Some voip providers do not include these parameters, others.

You use a server STUN is a common way to determine the external ip address and external port numbers.  With a STUN server adapter sends several messages on the server and the STUN server sends back indicating the port numbers and the external ip address received.  You can use any STUN server that responds quickly.

With a STUN server, you usually include substitution VIA Addr settings: and RESP to CBC Send Port:

A good description of the Support of the NAT settings is located here.

  • Is there a way to find the IP address associated with a device that is currently using my Apple ID?

Hi, is it possible to find the IP address associated with a device that is currently using my Apple ID? There is a device currently using my Apple ID, and I would like to know its IP address. When I connect to appleid.com, the device is listed. The device is an iPhone. It is an emergency situation. Thank you.

Unless it's on your local network, the IP address won't be useful to you in any way. (and no, you can do that)

If this is really an "emergency", inform the authorities.

  • An easy way to get the IP address of a VMware Player running?

Hey guys, need some help to get the IP address of a VMware Player running in windows & linux. An easy way? I search on google. I saw someone said how to limit the selection of the IP address, but this isn't what I want. I want to get the IP address of a VMware Player running in windows & linux. Thank you.

    Hi Badboy,

    Welcome to the forums.

VMware Player has no IP address, but the guest inside the VM systems have not one.

If your virtual machines based on the internal DHCP server of the player, for example if they are bridge now or NAT network, then on Windows, you should find information useful in the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\VMware\vmnetdhcp.leases. There is such a file on Linux.

    Good luck.

  • What is the best way to change the IP address of management vmkernel on a vDS?

    Hi all

I'm changing the IP address of the management interface vmkernel with as little downtime as possible and markets.

The interface is part of a distributed switch and the host is part of a cluster on the vCenter server.

As for now, here's what I do:

    (1) to migrate all virtual machines on the host and put it into Maintenance Mode.

    (2) remove a vmnic from the vDS and add it to the standard switch (which guarantees access to the management of VLANS).

    (3) move the core of the management of the vDS to the standard switch.

    (4) remove the host to the switch of the vDS.

    (5) remove the host from the inventory.

    (6) change the IP address, then make the changes in the DNS in accordance.

    (7) re add the host to the cluster of vCenter.

    (8) apply a profile of the host with the previous configuration (config vmnic, vmkernels, etc.).

    (9) correct the host profile.

    How do you do it?

    Greetings,

    RO

Take a look at the post of Chris Wahl

Application of new IP addresses to vCenter, hosts of ESXi and Plugins - network Wahl

As long as the hosts are connected to vCenter using their FULL domain name, you wouldn't remove them from vDS, etc..

  • There is no easy way to copy the group addresses to express group.outlook is much easier

I propose addresses into different groups, and I see no easy way to copy and move. your program brings you to retype and then it will be able to move to other groups

You can drag and drop contacts between address books and e-mail lists.
If you want to copy a contact instead of move you maintain them control until you release the mouse button after dragging them to the new location of the key. You will see a + signs seem to indicate a copy.

  • IOM 11 GR 2 - way to propagate the password reset to target resources

    Hi experts,

While during the creation of the account, IOM login ID and password are correctly used to set up accounts,

I've done a few passwords reset on users of the IOM, and I found that the new passwords are not automatically propagated to resource accounts.

These resources are provisioned by standard STANDARD connectors as DBUM.

How can I work, so all the passwords on all resource accounts are synchronized down to resources of the IOM during password reset?

    AAMT

Looks like change it user password process task is not defined for this STANDARD connector.
    As a solution, we can:

    1. create an adapter named ValueCopyAdapter of type "process task.

    2. in the adapter, add a string named 'pass' variable and set it as resolve at run time

    3. Add a 'logic' task in the adapter of type 'SET the VARIABLE.

    4. map of the "return value of adapter" to the variable 'pass '.

    5. build the adapter

6 open the definition of process "Oracle DB User", add a conditional 'Change User Password"process task, and plug the adapter (adpVALUECOPYADAPTER) created earlier on the integration tab.

    7. also need to check "allow multiple Instances".

    8. on the integration tab, map the adapter of the variables as follows:

Map the input value 'pass' to the qualification of the definition of the user password.

Map the return value to the qualification of password process data.

9 save the task in process

  • Can I get the IP address used by other devices for synchronization?

One of my machines was stolen. I wanted to know if I could find it using the synchronized information. I hope that there is a way to determine the IP address, and then contact the owner of this IP block to see if they can help me more. Is this is possible, and if so, what steps should I take? Thank you.

It is a question that we receive from time to time, and no, this is not possible. Please contact the police for your inquiry.

  • The IP address of the DHCP assigning

I have a WRT54GS2. Devices can be assigned to different IP address when power is droped then restarts. For example my printer can have an IP address of 192.168.1.101 and when the power is droped and the printer can get an address to 192.168.1.103. Is there a way to get the same address every time? I use OS X 10.6.3 on my Mac and Win 7 on my PC. The printer is HP.

    Jim Smith

I have not which option of your choice. I suggest, can connect you to your printer, assign the IP address and that's it. No need to spend a penny. It's like the assignment of an IP address of your computer in the network adapter properties.

The other option is a router with the DHCP reservation capabilities.

  • Reset the IP address on Photosmart D110a

I had to update my wireless network and I forgot to update the IP address of my printer.  It connects to my wireless but I can't print or logon to it because the IP of the printer is in another network (10.0.0.235).  My new network is 192.168.2.100 - 199.  Is there another way to reset the IP address of the printer?  I tried the factory reset and that did not work.  Thanks for any help!

    Hi jpmccarth,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you experience a problem when you try to re - connect to the wireless printer.

I suggest that restore us the default settings of network on the printer and then run through the Wireless Setup Wizard.  To do this, simply use the wrench on the printers screen to get the Setup Menu and then use the right arrow to access the wireless menu.  Scroll down until you see restore default network settings. Once completed reset, return to wireless Menu and select the wireless configuration wizard.

If you have any questions, feel free to write me again.

    See you soon,.
