Smart webcam touch HP 610

Smart Touch HP 610

Windows 7 64 bit

Where can I find the settings, etc. for the built-in Webcam?

Should I have the third-party software to use the webcam?

Thank you...

Hi, Maud.

I have a TouchSmart 510, so I hope it's on the same Webcam experience as your 610, but I'm not sure.

After you find HP Webcam in the start menu and opening it, I see in the upper right of the camera, a small button or bar to click that says settings, and it is not very big.  The opening I found some settings.

In addition, he hit with a variety of features and on the left is a selection of emoticons.

On my laptop, it has a different version of the Webcam.  At the top, next to the where it says hp Webcam, there are a couple of buttons with icons on them, the first is a little image of a file and the second I do not know what it is, but by positioning the mouse over it, it says Menu and in the list is a selection of settings.

I don't know if your camera is one of the two I have, but I am able to find the settings that I have described.

I have a 610 to see exactly what you see.

I hope this helps.

  • Touch TouchSmart 610 not recognized once win 8.1 upgrade

Have a 610-1030f TouchSmart.  With Win7.  Updated to Win 8.1, and everything is fine except the system now reports "no pen or touch input is not available."

Device Manager reports a HID Compliant touchscreen

There are three entries in mouse/Pointing Device - all permit.  One is the mouse, to be the touch screen and the other?  All use the same driver.

The touch screen is actually functional.  I can click and double click, but the old press/hold for menu right click does not work and I can't drag to open the charms.  (I have a touchscreen laptop running 8.1 so I know not how it is supposed to work).

The monitor is generic PnP.  I tried to install other recommended on the site of HP with no result.  I installed the drivers of Elo, but the configuration screen says no detected Elo monitor.

I found the TabletInputService did not work in the Services (from the Task Manager), but start/restart does not help.

    I restarted the countless times

    So what don't understand me?

What you might consider is do a refresh Windows 8.1 or reinstallation of Windows 7.

I suggest trying the update without losing the files first. If this update version does not help, then try the version that makes a complete refresh.

  • Icon missing in HP Media Smart Webcam

Hi, I've recently updated to Win7, but now have a webcam problem. The software is considered to be installed, the webcam is listed in devices and works with Skype. Problem is that I can't access the webcam via CV SmartMedia as it is not listed (only DVD, help and TV). Can someone help to create an icon for my web cam or at least add to the MediaSmart menu. Any suggestions appreciated!

    Hello

Once again thanks a lot for your help.  I also discovered that the webcam is available with Cyberlink Power Director, software which came pre installed, so at least I will be able to use the facilities of wedcam, even if it is through a Mediasmart.

If anyone has a similar problem, use Cyberlink!

  • HP Media Smart Webcam does not

Hi, so I have the HP Pavilion dv4 and my webcam did not work. Everytime I open the application for the webcam it will open and then freeze, then a window opens and say "HPMediaSmartWebcam has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. "I clicked on"search online for a solution and close the program"but that it is to close the program. Can I use my webcam on websites like cameroid or seenly but not the installed program. Please help me, thank you!

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download the latest installer of HP of Cyberlinks YouCam on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56980.exe

When the download is complete, open windows panneau Panel configuration, open programs and features, right click the entry for HP MediaSmart Webcam and select uninstall - once this process is complete, restart the laptop.

When windows rebooted, open your download folder and double-click the installer for Cyberlink YouCam start the installation.  Once done, check if this contributed to the issue.

someone can help me or has had the same problem?

    many greetings

    Nilli

    Hey there,

Thanks for all the tips and tricks - in the end I discovered on my own:

It seems that there are two kinds of adjustment: the windows ones like the Samsung ones. Not like WiFi, where they are connected and power applications light / each other, those for touch are not.

I accidentally turned off the touch in settings of Samsung (which were hidden in single applications, not visible at first glance that I have disabled the 'Samsung Quick Starter') and I only checked the windows ones, which were very good.

But maybe it helps other people!

    See you soon

  • What pen would work with the touchsmart pc (TouchSmart 610-1031)? any recommendation?

I like the table (or digital pen) would work on my smart touch computer (610-1031F).

I would like to use for drawing/painting...on especially the touch screen and writing.

I saw the small number of products HP online.  They don't really explain a lot... and I can not really compare how these products work differently. They show the compatible products and I am not sure that they only work for the specific products or prodect smart touch in general.

No, as indicated above a pen would change nothing, you want to really does not work with this method of contact, there is no definition that will never make these "touch sensitive" this touch detection method is great for many reasons, but it won't replace something like a Wacom tablet for drawing.

You really want a tablet that uses a touch of pressure, not a desktop Touchsmart.

    Hello

    Troubleshoot camera connection
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Troubleshoot-camera-connection-problems

You probably need to recharge the device drivers and camera control software (usually included
with the drivers and installed at the same time).

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot and then HIDE it and watch manually to see if their
really is a more recent version (at the time system manufacturer and the sites of the manufacturer of the device).

can you give me the steps to format the laptop, because I don't know how to do it.

I really appreciate a response, any help you can give me.

    Thank you

Here is the easiest way to move to W7 without creating the old "windows" folder It's the method I want to use, there may be others, but this works well for me.

Create your original OS system recovery discs using your recovery manager. Here is a link on how to do it:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00809678

After that, you can delete the recovery partition, but it is later cleared any way with this procedure.

Also, go on 'C' drive, expand this and burn it on a DVD "SwSetup" folder. This folder has all your Vista drivers and all the software you need, whether those on the HP website will not work. It is a precautionary measure in case W7 and software drivers do not work, but you should have no problem.

Down load and install Partition Wizard Home Edition (it's free):

    http://download.CNET.com/Partition-Wizard-Home-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.HTML?part=DL-6285158&Subj=DL&tag=button

This is a basic tutorial on what we're going to do Partition Wizard:

    http://www.partitionwizard.com/video-help/delete-all-partition/delete-all-partition.html

In the case of guide_1, there are two partitions, drive 'C' with its main operating system on it and its Vista recovery partition. We will delete everything on the hard disk to perform a new installation of W7. This goes beyond formatting where they may be files hidden Vista that could give problems when installing W7.

It's a little different from what it shows in the video, but it does the same thing.

Right-click on 'disc 1' and choose 'Remove all partitions' and apply the changes. It will give one or two warnings that you are about to delete your active OS system and you won't be able to boot your machine. It's normal.

When you get to the window where it asks you to restart, open the CD/DVD tray and let it open.

Restart your computer. When it starts the HP logo will appear and down into the lower left corner of the screen, it will say "Press esc. button"press the button. You have only one second. This leads to a list, Press f9 to Boot Device Options.

This will give you two choices here, use your top and bottom keys management to choose "internal CD/DVD ROM Drive.

At this point, insert your W7 DVD and close the drawer. Let it load a bit if she wants to and press 'enter' to boot from the W7 DVD.

Follow the instructions until you get to the window where he gives you two choices "upgrade" or "custom". Choose custom. In this case because there is that a single hard drive, you have no choice but to choose that one. It will be labeled as "unallocated space".

Go ahead and complete the installation.

After that, I recommend the first driver you are installing is for your video driver that your screen at this stage can be large and somewhat blurry.

I'll give you the link for your video driver, and I'll leave the rest to you. If you have any problems, post again, and I will be to take care of you through this.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-80855-1&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&lang=en&OS=4063&product=3860622

This method to make a clean install works as I have just done my dv8. I'd rather wipe all traces of Vista, when you go to W7 and the deletion of all the disk hard drive works well.

  • Pictures of the camera shows a white background

I have the iPhone 6 s and wondering why my photos (say for example of a person with the ocean in the background) appear as the person is too dark with the ocean looking perfect in the background or the person lit up fine, but the background is bright white.

Is there a setting to fix this, so that the subject of the image (the person) is properly lit and the background appears correctly?

    Hi DavidG21,

    Please visit Apple support communities.

Looks like areas of the photos you take with the camera app on your iPhone to appear more or less clear that you are pregnant. This happens because the unit automatically adjusts its exposure (the amount of light in the scene that reaches the sensor of the camera) based on what is photographed. It is more noticeable in high-contrast environments like photographing a person in front of a bright ocean.

You can use the HDR setting in the camera app makes up for it by taking pictures:

HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows you to get great pictures in contrast situations. When shooting with the iSight camera, iPhone takes several photos in quick succession at different exposure settings - and they are based. The resulting picture has better details in bright areas and half-tones.

Use the HDR. (iSight camera and FaceTime camera on iPhone 5 s and later versions) Press the HDR. For best results, keep the iPhone steady and prevent the movement of the subject.

On the iPhone 5 s later, you can choose Auto HDR and iPhone uses HDR when it is more effective.

Keep the normal picture and the HDR version. Go to settings > Photos & camera > keep normal Photo. The normal and the versions of the HDR photo appear in the pictures. Versions HDR photos in your albums are marked with 'HDR' in the corner.

The iPhone user guide - HDR

You can also tap on different parts of the screen when taking a picture to adjust the exposure manually and see how the photos will change depending where the image is sharp.

The exposure is automatic, but you can adjust the exposure manually for the next shot by tapping on an object or an area on the screen. With an iSight webcam, touching the screen defines the focus and exposure, and face detection is temporarily disabled. To lock the focus and exposure, touch and hold until the impulses of the rectangle. The screen indicates to what exposure and focus are locked. Take as many photos as you want. When you tap the screen again, exposure and development of unlocking and face detection and automatic settings back on.

The iPhone user guide - take photos and videos

These two tips should help you to take great pictures with your iPhone 6s.
