Smartphone blackBerry BOLD 9000 battery

Hello

My 9000 "BOLD" after a year and a half of good work, do not charge the battery, the battery icon may have lightning yellow, sometimes, it is not, in any case, do not charge the battery, I tried with a new (original) charger and a new battery (original), nothing to do, in very rare cases, the battery seems to load 20% (old or new) after with yellow lightning relative to taxation will not on. I also tried the PC the yellow Flash appears but nothing.

Now the warranty is still valid, that I can do something or it's better to send the phone to support me?

Hey namesake.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

When you try to load the BlackBerry® the unit please go into the Options and status, the battery percentage increase? If so, I'd say backup and complete a clean reload software f of the BlackBerry® device as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

If the percentage has not increased for warranty, please contact your point of sale and repair options.

Thank you.

  • Smartphone blackBerry bold 9000 locked, numlock on, problem of PIN entry

    Hello

Last week, I have a BB Bold 9000.

I have a problem when my BB is locked.

I try to unlock with my PIN that contains characters.

The number lock is enabled, while the numbers are entered, which makes it rather difficult to release.

Someone has any idea how deselect numlock when the BB is locked?

    Hi Tanzim

I tried again and now I understand what went wrong.

normally when I unlock I have to put my password after the BB asking me to do.

I did it when the BB requested my PIN, but obviously this is not equal to my password...

I typed the generic PIN for BB and it worked; Deselected NumLock and I could enter my password.

Thanks for the reply. It opened my eyes to try something different.

  • Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9000 on typing and camera issues

    Hey there

I bought a Bold 9000 3 g not even a week ago and I met 2 problems so far.  First and most annoying is more type (I've owned 3 bb in the past and I am very experienced with keyboards) while writing an email or an SMS, it is constantly adding too many letters.  I tried the fast light pressing of a letter and he still added multiples of that letter.  Its about 50-50 chance he'll do it.  This does not happen to all the specific letters, but rather all the keys (including the space bar), I gave the phone to a few friends who have a bb to see if they have the same problem, and of course they have.  It got to the point that, whenever it happens, I jump on AutoText and enter the type and the correction more so I won't reproduce, but let's be honest that, there are many words in the English Dictionary.  What could be the problem here?

Also my camera sometimes displays the view in lines with different colors?

Is my "BOLD" just a piece of junk or have I missed something?

    Help, please!

    P.S., absolutely no moisture damage

    Ryan

You can go to Options > screen/keyboard and slow down the speed.  Which may or may not help.

Where did you got this "BOLD"?  How do you know that it is "absolutely no moisture damage?  This all looks great moisture.

  • Smartphone blackBerry bold 9000 error 507 help needed:)

Hello great people of the Ant to blackberry,.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you can see your PIN listed, or you might see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9000 memory integrated improvement

    Hi guys,.

I was wondering if there is a way to improve the 128 MB built-in memory for applications of BB. I have 2GB micro SD inserted and Im would not be used except to store music and video files. Is it possible to use SD Noor for the application memory, or the memory of 1 GB on the "BOLD" which I NEVER USE at all!

PLEASE HELP, as I am running out of memory when I download new applications on my "BOLD"...

    Hello!

The quick answer to your question is 'no' - the amount of AppMemory is fixed and no another type of memory can be used to increase the amount of AppMemory. This is a physical limitation that cannot be overcome. There are tips and Add-ons that will swap apps in and out of AppMemory if necessary, but the application can be run within the AppMemory.

As a result, the long answer...

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Best!

    Good luck!

  • Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9000 - installation Assistant Email Error Message

After you migrate my contacts and applications of a Storm 9530 to a 9000 "BOLD", I get the following error message when I try to use the "Configure email" element of the installation wizard:

    Any ideas?

Did not help.  He said he didn't have not been updated for my "BOLD", using 4.6.0.167.  I solved the problem by wiping the device and just import my contacts without any of the apps of the storm.

I just changed from Treo 650 to a BB 9000. After you have installed the BB Desktop Manager, I opened the switch device manager to transfer my data. But the transfer usually stops after 230/250 of 1700 Calender entries (?). I deleted the Calendar database according to the instructions given in the knowledge base, but still th eproblem. What can / should I do to transfer the data correctly?

As I have all my data in Outlook too, know the BB DTmanager somehow to use the database to outlook?

You can check if you have any file attached to an entry?, disable the connection and synchronize again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9000 and upgrading to OS 5.0

    Hello

I tried to upgrade my Blackberry OS to 5.0, but it ends with the dialog box (see picture below), who presents information to upgrade 4.6 to 5.0 OS I must have an active subscription to Blackberry. Well, I'm not 100% sure what the Blackberry subscription is, but when I went on the link available in the dialog box, that is www.blackberry/service, it has been said that I need a data plan to upgrade the operating system. On the Internet there are a lot of people discussing the similar problem...

What can I do? Is this means that to improve my OS I need to contact the service provider (mobile network operator), pay to the plan data (which I didn't need), allowing the Blackberry subscription and after that it will be done, I'll be able to upgrade the operating system?

    Thank you very much

    Kind regards

    STeN

    Hello

Everything you have interpreted this message is correct: it must have an active Blackberry package given their business to upgrade to OS 5.0.x.x. device check out this FAQ for the different features available with different data plans:

Personally, I see no reason to have a BB without a data plan, but that's just me I guess.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9000 Dead

UH when I try to restore it by the i went a youtube I use a thing call Loader.exe to make when it come to update to put files on the phone, it says some message saying a word on the password and try again

    Hello

Normally, the password is password locking device - exact same one you have to use, on the device, the unlock when you have locked yourself or the timer has reached a maximum you put there, and it auto-verrouillé. The password you enter on the computer is the same exact... but, if you have special characters (for example, caps, numbers, etc.) in your password, you need to be very careful about the way you type those on the BB keyboard... e. g, some people think they have a password digital, but only hit the ALT key once which actually translates the first digital character, but the rest are alpha characters.

Good luck and let us know!
