Smartphones blackBerry 507 error (help please before go me crazy)

Hi guys,.

This morning I tried to update my Curve 8310 on the latest operating system, using BB Manager.

He kept coming up with an error... "Application cannot connect to your device" I clicked retry again and again but nothing. So I click on cancel, and now I have no OS on my BlackBerry.

Sometimes just with a logo of the application with 507 under him on the screen.

I downloaded the latest OS and tried again, but it won't work.

I tried an older operating system and it will not work.

I tried to restore a backup, but it won't work.

IM completely lost on what to do... I need this work on Monday

1. connect your USB cable to your PC in the BACK port, or another to the back of your PC, not a hub or the front USB port.

2 here is a link to the latest OS released for the 8310. Use it.

507 number only means that the Desktop Manager does not see any OS loaded into the device. Log on to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the operating system on the device.

    A 507 error means that there is no OS on your device... so you can do nothing about it, since there is no OS to run it. But, it can be retrieved. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Now go forward with the use of these tips (if all you ask to use a site update, replace it please the Desktop software installed on it):

    Hey people: I get an error "http 504 gateway timeout" on some pages. For example, I do a search on the web and you find on wikipedia. If the wikipedia page has more pages, I click Next and get the error message. This happens on other sites with many pages. Please help me! Steph

    Steph, to do this: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Now, try these sites for browser again.

    Given your situation, I recommend first this method... from a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

    Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    It is possible that may still fail and you will need a more radical WIPE and RELOAD method available via these tools:

    I have the curve 8520 5.0 OS running. Just downloaded and then deleted an app called vM eyes (for display DVR camera on the smartphone). Since then, the phone displays "app error 523".     (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".

    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

    I tried pretty much everything I can try in this thread, and nothing seems to work! It is very probably the the most annoying problem that I experienced with windows! I can open all the files and programs it is just that the 'Windows Explorer has stopped working"error appears literally every 5 to 15 seconds!  I click on cancel, and the other appears which says "Windows Explorer restarts" help please, I've never been more ready to give up on windows for good!

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows

    There are, I don't know what I thought, but I deleted my BB Messenger.  I lost my list of phone, but the phone actually display my numbers at times.  I went and everything reinstalled (after I saved the info), but now when I go to restore on my Office Manager, he doesn't let me select one of the icons... now I can't restore my phone list in my contacts.  It should automatically start the backup and restore process when I plug my phone into the computer, but it is not... I am very frustrated.  If you know how to help, please do, but use normal information (not a Curmudgeon).  Thank you

    Open your Desktop Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.

    In the left pane, choose file > open and navigate to and select your most recent *.ipd backup file and open it.

    THEN see if you can click to select the database to BlackBerry Messenger and then click the right-pointing arrow in the middle to move the database on your device.

    BBM contacts are not saved with Protect. However, using the same BBID, they will be restored if your previous 9790 had BBM 7 installed. Your BBID restore BBM contacts.

    I'm at my wits end with my Blackberry Torch 9810.  I have very little text messages in my Inbox, I lost the lot for some reason my phone has decided to change some date & in the future and trying to resolve that, in my opinion, I wiped everything, do not know what I did a few weeks ago, but they disappeared.

    Now I get notifications that my SMS Inbox is full and I need to delete messages.  Can someone help me I have a lot of messages on the handset and cannot believe it is complete unless there is an option I need to select/deselect.  The user guide is useless.

    I changed a parameter in the past as text messages seem to be endangered if they were in a month or so old, but all that I did I can't and don't know how to handle all my text messages myself.  My old iphone allowed me to keep the text as long messages I wanted with what appeared to be a very large storage area, now I just want to throw this thing in the bin.  Unfortunately I have 18 months remaining on my contract (business) so I can do nothing about it.

    You've restarted the unit? Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.     I am a customer of T-Mobile. (Prosumer)

    When I try to synchronize my contacts with my Bold 9700, comes after a few seconds, the message "sync error has occurred - you try to synchronize again.» But a resynchronization does not help. A couple of contacts (20%) are transferred, so the process is canceled again and again. undecided
