Smartphones blackBerry email settings AND Message option Services

Hello

QUESTION 1:

I have my BB Storm connected to my outlook (aka my work email) and two 1) to gmail and 2) MSN personal e-mail accounts. And on the screen of the main menu of my blackberry, I have three icons labeled as:

Messages (outlook), Messages (gmail account) and Messages (MSN account)

But what is a little irritating, it's that the emails sent from Outlook (running on my PC at work) to my Gmail or my MSN account, ALL themselves in my icon of Messages (outlook) on my BB Storm. I put the 'Save copy in sent folder' to no.

2ND QUESTION:

In addition, I can't understand the purpose of the drop-down list "Messsage Services". There are three items in the list:

(1) Desktpo 2) my MSN address email and 3) my gmail address. I know that when I select MSN or gmail as the 'Message Services' the available options for change. But the global options? or are they specific to the 'message service "I chose?".

I hope I am clear. I could not find much support DOCs or on the BB site.

Thank you

Mark

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

1. your key messages folder will get all THE electronic, all. We cannot dissociate the BIS personal mail out, but you can BES email (work) to help empower BES Inbox. Google for more information.

2. the "office" is your work email. The options change whether you use your work email account or accounts of the persona that the first is BES and the last two are BIS accounts who have options and different functions.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry emails sent by message

I could not find in the search, and perhaps that it is not repairable. When an e-mail is sent

Since the Blackberry, a row is added by saying:

"Sent from my BlackBerry on the Bell network wireless.
Sent by my BlackBerry mobile device on the Bell network wireless. »

Note that it also adds a version in French!  (Only in the Canada, that you say!) I understand that the carrier is adding data

to allow more expenses but 2 lines?

A way to remove one or both? I'm guessing that this is not exclusive to Bell.

Hi Dennis, you must change the signature, go to the page web support, go to edit the e-mail account and to change the signature, van you delete all signature and insert what you want.

  • Details of Smartphones blackBerry to each new message auto

Hi guys, how can I configure my 9000 "BOLD" to automatically add my contact information at the bottom of each new e-mail or forward has responded or mail?

Do you mean an AutoSignature? I think that's what you're looking for.

For BIS, go to the home screen > Setup > Email settings and change the account... in the screens for the account is a section of signature that will automatically add each email you send. Alternatively, you can access your BIS account from your portal of carriers and enter the information to:

For BES, go to the home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > E-mail... for the "Desktop" settings (usually... yours might be different) parameters, there is a "use Auto Signature' arrangement... to change this to 'Yes' and you will then have a box to fill.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Email - shoot Office Outlook read messages on my phone

I don't know much about the operation of the e-mail servers and the subtleties behind e-mail, so I find it very difficult to deduct my answer to previous messages.

I can't seem to solve this problem and it has troubled me for a long time now.

I have a blackberry curve 8310 and a microsoft exchange e-mail account. When I get an email, it goes to my outlook Inbox and my phone which is normal. I read it and it shows as read. Fine. Everything is good.

But when I look at an email read more later on, no matter what age the enamel is, it transmits to my phone again. And once again. And once again. Whenever I simply click on the email to open it, it sends to my phone as if it were a new email.

Also when I was not in the office for a long time I had to access my email via the web. When I can finally go back to outlook, I get a load (bad word) of new messages on my phone. This is of course all read messages of all the days I was away from the office, I ALREADY RECEIVED.

Any advice on where to go with this will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    BIS is Blackberry Internet Service

This is how you integrate e-mail through your operator accounts

need to connect to your carriers BIS site (if you don't know, in my opinion the best way to find it is... to search google for "carriername" BIS)

    example: verizon BIS

first link will be your carriers BIS of the site, click top and you connect.

Here you will see your email address, you want to delete

then follow the instructions in the article to reinstate it below

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB03133&sliceId=SAL_Pub...

before you do anything however, make sure you checked on the size of your Inbox in outlook

You have hotmail or MSN? These accounts must be re-activated every 90 days.

  • Smartphones blackBerry email does not

I have just git back to Britain. While there I was using the text and electronic control. 3 days ago I got a blackberry message that my yahoo email account should be verified what I did. my yahoo account works on pc but no electronic mail works on my "BOLD". any suggestions?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Give the Unit 5 to 15 minutes to start to push email to you.

    If still nothing happens:

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. on OS5 devices: Options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register. On OS6 devices: Options > device > advanced > host Routing Table
2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830North American carriers - scroll to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Email help please!

    Hello

Recently, I had to send my curve away from setting the led screen and received the same phone as a loan. She has set up my e-mail account and everything worked fine and dandy.

Now, a month later, I got my blackberry back. The woman at Sasktel backed up the loan and restored it on my Berry. My bbm contacts, everything has been restored correctly.

But I get no emails. Both my accounts are set up and all my previous emails are there until she me back on since the article ready to mine. How can I fix it? What I have to go to Sasktel and ask them to do?

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

  • Smartphones blackBerry email reconciliation

    Hello

My Organization recently upgraded my phone to a Blackberry Bold 9650, OS v5.0, BIS. I have had some problems with my e-mail address and have been unable to find solutions by searching the forums.

    (1) my new messages not immediately reconcile my BB when I have Outlook 2003 open. It will reconcile only manually or once I close Outlook.

    (2) deleted emails or read in Outlook 2003 will not change their status on the BB. I have to go back into the phone and manually or delete, either open the emails that I've seen.

As far as I can tell my settings on my BB are all correct:

    Wireless reconcile - suite

    Victories of conflicts - Mailbox

I deleted and referred the service two times books.

Any help you could provid would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

The first thing to understand is that what you do in Outlook and what's happening on the BB are not at all directly. On the contrary, each closer to the mail server with whatever they each capacity. For the BB, it will be governed by the present:

    • KB05133 Features of the BlackBerry Internet Service email reconciliation

For Outlook... Well, that depends on a bunch of other things... it can be configured to delete emails from the server when it is downloaded or leave them on the server (in a couple of different ways). If you delete them from the server, this could completely explain why your BB gets nothing while Outlook is running (because Outlook is to remove server, nothing for the BIS to find when it checks then new things on the server).

This Ko has some advice for the configuration of Outlook:

    • KB12283 How to leave or remove copies of e-mail messages on the mail server

  • Smartphones blackBerry email problem after upgrade

Hi everyone, I just spent my Bold9000 of 4.6 to 5.0.0.82 2 (at & t) and I'm having a problem with my 2 email on my BB (Hotmail & Gmail) accounts.  Before the upgrade, when I delete an email on my device, I would ask if I wanted to remove the "mailbox & Handheld" or "handheld" or "Cancel".  Now, when I go to delete and email I get only the options "Delete" or "Cancel".  I checked my email settings to ensure that reconciliation is on, and it is.

I have searched and cannot find the solution.  Does anyone know what to do or change?

    Thank you very much.

To get this option back try the following steps:

    1. go in the Messages, press the menu key and go to Options > Email reconciliation.

    2. in the 'Message Services' select one of your e-mail accounts.

    3. in the section "delete" are defined at the command prompt.

This should give you the option to delete on the "mailbox & Handheld" or "handheld" or "Cancel".

    I hope this helps.

  • Transfer to Smartphones blackBerry email account

I recently moved from a Pearl 8130 with Telus Mobility to a Pearl Flip with Bell Mobility. The transfer switch and the unit went a lot, but he sent the account I had thanks to Telus ([email protected]), also. Because I'm not with Telus more, I thought that I delete it and be down with it all, but it doesn't give me an option for. I tried to make it through the old handset, online messaging, BlackBerry, new handset, etc.. I have even sold all together before forwarding the e-mail account. None of this has worked. How can I get it my phone?

Have you tried settings folder > manage Internet e-mail > e-mail accounts, and then delete. If you are unable to access this account that way then maybe you can remove the service for this account books, options > advanced options > service books > and find the books of two services for this e-mail account. Select one and click the menu button and select Delete.

  • Log of calls to Smartphones blackBerry email inbox? How to remove?

    HI - need help!

In my blackberry email inbox, my call log also shows. This is annoying - how remove?

    Thank you

Hi there and welcome to the forums!

You can resolve this problem by following the steps (I did the same thing on my Storm for the same reason you):

    • Open the phone application, then press the BB Menu key and select Options
    • Select Call Logging and then change the calls to zero logging options.

This will still show an icon for missed calls, but it will remove the calls to your main message folder.

    I hope this helps!

  • Lack of Smartphones blackBerry email account icons

I searched for a while and have not been able to find the answer to this one.

I wiped my Tour 9630.  Then I transferred to my address book and messages and signed up for my BIS account.  It displays my gmail and hotmail accounts, but I have not all the icons on the home screen for e-mail accounts.  How can I get back them?  Is there something more easy to delete accounts and recreate them then?

    Thank you!

    Hello!

Since wipe you the device, you must get things on it before continuing.

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > Fockedey now

    (2) Service books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

With these two steps, you should be in business.

Good luck and let us know!
