I have the bold 9650 unfortunately got hurt and enterd over mep code 10 times as result is blocked... now I'm worried wt to do I have hepatitis also lost his guaranteed card me plese help to find a solution simple and best...

After ten attempts have been used, you must get the RIM to unlock the device.

There are two lanes and two only, to achieve this.

See the information to reach us from the Web site: http://ca.blackberry.com/contact/ the options that you want to select to talk to the BlackBerry customer service are 3 (for requests of information, orders, billing, e - RMA etc.) then 5 (e - RMA and warranty).

    If you obtained your unlock code from somewhere, but it was incorrect, that your remedy could be with them - however, they may well wonder why you exhausted all 10 attempts before contacting them.

    If your BB was already locked MEP and you got it from a source that represents as that can be unlocked, then your recourse would be with the seller that you got it.

    FYI - these forums are a chain of support to users, not a conduct of user-to-RIM. Frontline for BB is, contractually, not provided by RIM. Companies and authorized resellers are responsible for the front line of official support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and request direct assistance from the RIM, but this generates costs, since you are without your support contract with your carrier. The "Support & Services" tab to the top of the forum pages provide information on this subject. But, if you go through your carrier for support, they can degenerate into RIM without cost to you if they choose to.

    So, with all this, your line must stay with your carrier, so that they can worsen your case for you and find the answers you want without incurring costs to do. Don't forget to worsen after their initial support and up to their people to support BB... they generally have the best information that people from the front line.

    I have BB bold 9900 I want to unlock to another service provider. The number of MEP code is up to 0 tests (long story why that happened). I understand that service providers are unbale to unlock and this because it is possible that now by RIM.

    Who do I contact in order to unlock the network stuck in idle.

  • Update 5.0 - network MEP code blackBerry Smartphones

    When I'm moving my 9000 "BOLD" to version 5.0, the update works fine, but when I turn on my phone, I got a MEP Code of network.

    I downgraded my phone then the 4.86 version once again and it works fine, no network MEP Code. My blackberry wonder only this code when I installed version 5.0. Is there a reason why I can't upgrade my phone?

    Another weird thing, my IMEI number has changed to something like xxxxx1234560!

I went back and read all correspondence related to this, and it seems that I never received.     I have double/triple checked this several times and I put in the correct number. I have same box the package originald BlackBerry which is the correct PIN code. How to solve this?     In some cases, it was discovered that updates (from got AppWorld apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please try this:

    1. Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the app > > remove
    2. AppWorld > MyWorld > Login > highlight the app (if she shows at all, in any State) > > remove
    3. Use your PC (via the mass storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find all references (folders, files) to the app delete everything you find. Search the memory of your device and your press card as well.
