I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

(1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

(2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

(3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

This notification stays on the screen, then it goes to the home screen where the unit is locked and shows "new messgae" notes. But Im not able to touch anything, cannot. What should I do?

    It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, try to reverse what you did.

    I have a 9850 which freezes when I go to App World and try to do anything in the App World. If I click on 'My account' or 'My World', it freezes and says please wait with the Green wheel. I left this appointment for 2 days and no progress.  Even if I click 'Download' for an application. Only way to unlock is to remove the battery.  Very frustrated to say the least. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    To make sure that it is not a problem with your version of BlackBerry App World, delete App World, restart your BlackBerry when you are prompted, and then reinstall by going to http://blackberry.com/appworld on your browser of the torch.

    There is sometimes a long delay in the passage of the orientation from portrait mode to landscape - or vice versa.  I can do anything to force it to quickly switch the orientation, or should I just wait.  I tried to switch the phone back, side-, but not always help.

    Start with a battery pull. It should solve this problem, which is more than likely software-related. With your phone, remove the battery, then replace.

  • Cannot open the e-mail from Adobe Acrobat application

    First of all, let me say that was exceptionally difficult to find somewhere I might actually post. I don't think it should be that hard, either I've missed the easy way. Eitherway, let me know if this is in the wrong place, because I am posting this now that I finally found somewhere I can actually post.

    I use adobe acrobat X standard v10.1.2 (I think, should be fully updated without worrying) on windows 7 pro - x 32. I can open a pdf file and then click on the envelope to send by e-mail, and it brings up a side panel. When I tell the email attachment, it seems that if she does something and then disappears without notice. I tried as admin and same result, I troubleshoot compatibility and it came with xp sp2 and when I did, it says "cannot open the e-mail software" and when I run in administrator mode and xp mode it says always 'impossible to open the email software' on other computers it would be perfectly fine without a hitch, even if they are 64-bit could this be the cause? Also already tried to reinstall Acrobat and it did not help and tried to do a "repair" and that did not help either. So I'm really at a lost, unable to find any documentation on this error if were just troubleshooting using my typical procedures. I hope someone can help out me.

    You are most likely in a problem with Win7 email client number. I'm not sure about AAX, but for older versions, the e-mail was through the interface MAPI Ms. Most of the time you simply make sure that your default e-mail client is specified in the default Windows programs. For some clients, you must enable their ability to use MAPI.

    Not sure if this will help, but it is typically a Windows problem to solve because of the way Acrobat trys to interact with mail.

    6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

    6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

    If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    You must also use these tricks, but please substitute 6a or 6b above if all load allows you to use a Web site:

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    Well, the preinstalled wallpapers are not on the map, they are in the device memory. and you probably would have to transfer the pictures from your PC to the memory of the device as well.

    Unless I missed a SIGNIFICANT part of the RIM announcement, there is only one model of the torch, the 9800.

    To indicate which version of any BlackBerry phone you have, open an application to write a new message (text, email, facebook, etc.).  In the subject line, type "myver" (without the quotes) and a space.  Your phone model and the version of the operating system will appear.  Typing "mypin" (without the quotes) will show your PIN.

    Hi, I received an email supposedly from BlackBerry to my phone at 01:04 titled Action required: update password.

    The message told me that I had to update my password on one of my email accounts in the BlackBerry internet service. HE said that Email from that address were not distributed to my phone (I only noticed at this point that they were not because this isn't used much e-mail) and to resume the service, I needed to update my passwsord.

    He went on to give me instructions on how to do it. He said to open my BlackBerry Internet service account is by opening the configuration of email on my device application or visiting the BlackBerry Internet Service site then to go to the page e-mail accounts, choose the option change the correct email address, update the password field and then save.

    Depending on my device, the message has been received using the email as needed update account and has been in my Inbox and came from "[email protected]."

    It may seem silly, but I'm always a little kept when I get emails about passwords, I still did nothing, but I connect to my e-mail account online and there are 3 messages in my Inbox that indeed did not come to my phone, but no messages from blackberry.     Had the problem after upgrade to OS 10.11.6. Many applications open. "cannot open application Notes.

    After McAfee Internet Security setting. Disable the effective Protection has allowed the Apple software to open. After turning on the return, applications, always open normally.  Thanks gang!

    As a suggestion, I would UNINSTALL the McAfee software at the same time. Things are unnecessary and cause problems on many systems.
