  I have Storm1 with OS v5.0.0.419. My problem is that a new message (message 1) icon in the home screen. I checked my Inbox, Inbox SMS and MMS. There are no new messages.   Did you go in the actual application of the Messages? Or just the icons for individual e-mail account? Messages collects messages from many lines, some of them are led not by e-mail and therefore the message appears in the Messages. Starting in the Messages, try the search function - there are options to set which make global across all lines and for unreads only... I hope that it will find it.

• BlackBerry Smartphones new Blackberry "BOLD" will not be on

  I got two last week of new Blackberry "BOLD" for a couple of patterns here.  What I was thinking that it was the right thing to let them via a USB hub over the weekend to ensure a full first charge.  Today they turn on.  Rear left the battery out in both entities for about five minutes and put it in and even they will not be running.  The USB was powered by a UPS so power would have been clean.  Seems strange that both units have the same problem.

  This yellow envelope is the new icon of Hotmail for BlackBerry.  You will have a red star indicator that appears when you have a new e-mail message.

• BlackBerry Smartphones new mail icon does not

  I have a strange behavior suddenly with one of the e-mail on my Blackberry "BOLD" accounts.  The account is a gmail account and never had any problems until today.  I noticed this morning that e-mail has not been pushed, despite the fact that new messages were in this mailbox.  I removed and re-added the account, as well as return service directories.  Now, mail seems to take place at the account again, but the new mail indicator (red asterisk) does not work for the account, even if I get a new mail on the main 'Messages' envelope icon indicator when the mail comes in this account.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

  It looks like the Update icon AppWorld, telling you that the AppWorld himself or one of your applications that you got from the AppWorld has an update available. Go to AppWorld...   Highlight the icon so that it appears highlighted, click it and press Menu > hide.

  You can not remove it easily... It is pushed to your BlackBerry via a service book. You can remove the service book, and it will be pushed again.

  So just hide it.

  Why do I get 2 new icons on my desktop once I connected my 9800 by USB. I have a "Blackberry1" icon, which I know is from my phone. But I also have an icon of 'No name '.   An icon is your Media Card torch.

  The other is the memory of your torch "on the device.

  So you have spaces in fact two 'media' on the torch, non-removable memory of "the unit" and a removable media card.

  Look at the Options > memory on your torch and you will see three listed... the two above, and your memory of the Torchj Application.
