Smartphones Yahoo blackBerry email account will not delete

My Yahoo email account will not erase.   I wanted to delete my Yahoo account on my 9780 and entered the installer to remove.  It no longer displays as an account listed in the Setup menu, but it still appears as an icon on the home page.  It is always active, retrieving messages.  I tried rebooting by removing the battery nothing works. Any help much appreciated.

Go to Blackberry Internet Service account and delete it. Then go into the Service books and delete the one for this email address.

  • The Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop software will not connect to 9700 Win 7

    Recently, I lost my 9800 "BOLD" and had to go back to my old 9700.  When you try to resynchronize the 9700 for the desktop software, it started the process but then stopped.  Now the software connects to the device even if the device shows connected to the desktop computer.  In addition to the software crashes and cannot be closed.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the desktop software but no improvement.

    Interesting... the only time wherever I got a message like that is when I am attached to my PC and using the AppWorld on the web from my PC browser... a plugin is installed on the PC so that it works. I never recall a message as you describe directly from the desktop software.

    There is no need to use the older Desktop software... in fact, under Win7, it is even probably not supported. So, now I suggest the following steps (reboots insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, under Vista/Win7, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    I have 4 email accounts and one of them the Inbox won't download any new messages.  The other inboxed works fine and the email that is not work works fine on my other devices. This is not a new e-mail account, he worked many years. the problem just started yeaterday.

    Yesterday, August 22, Mozilla has undergone a massive rupture and complete in the treatment of Yahoo. Initially I thought it was a virus.     I got it! I had installed the program Microsoft parental control on my computer and things seem to start down. I uninstalled the program, and everything seems to be working again!

    If it helps, try the step below and check out them.

    First log on as an administrator.

    Go to start > Control Panel > user accounts. Disable the guest account. Go to start > right click on my computer > in system properties go to Advanced tab > user profiles > click Settings > highlight guest account > click Delete > click OK.

    Close System Properties. Back to start > Control Panel > user accounts turn guest on account. Log off as administrator, and then log on as a guest, check to see if it helps.

  • Email application will not retrieve email

    I added an imap account, and Yes, the parameters are defined for the extraction, however the mail app will not retrieve email.  It's not until I have actually go into the email app that new emails appear.  I never close the app and simply let it run.

    Also the email application will not recover email because they arrive - it gives a sync error.  So, I put it to fetch every 15 minutes.

    My Surface behaved in the same way. It worked fine on my desktop of Windows 8. I tried everything I could think of including the removal and the addition of the Gmail account, making several updates to the full, etc. Nothing seemed to work.     I uninstalled the mail (and related) app, then ran a cleaning disk and reinstalled the mail application.  So far so good.
