  We enter the season of budget and in our society, the forecast is built from the bottom upwards and registered at a very detailed level. Our planning application has 11 dimensions.
  Is there a way for the users using Smartview to upload their forecasts in planning, using a free-form? I tried to find information on the subject, but were unsuccessful.

  For planning restrictions, you can use the planning forms, which is not the same thing as the free forms Essbase.
  You need to give users write Essbase access.

  But you take essentially the power and the entire purpose of the planning application... If you plan to use free-form, why bother with the planning

  I am currently working on Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1.

  I am interested to know the size of construction planning.

  1. What size technical construction available for Hyperion Planning 11 other than DRM, FDM and technical manual?

  2. I read in a blog this load utility contour doesnot work with Hyperion 11 x for dimesion building and "Hyperion Dimesion Library" is available in its place. Is this true?

  But we use the contour load utility to load exchange rates in our 11 version application.

  3. I worked on the ODI 10 g and 11 g with Hyperion 9 x

  Hyperion provides 11 compatible x in dimensions of building using ODI from scratch and also adding members to an existing hierarchy according to the evolution of the business?

• Hyperion Planning Dimension Build?

  I have a working ODI Interface for a type of plan/application.   However, we now have a kind of additional plan and there are two shared dimensions.  We use classical planning as EPMA is not in scope.  ODI, I perform a reverse engineering on the target model.  It adds the aggregations for the two Types of Plan.   How exactly to get where it will update the two lines at the same time for both plan types of work.   It is similar to the charge utiliy outline?  If so, how / what I need to do?

• How to remove the EPMA planning dimension

  I have a deployed by EPMA planning application. I have also some web forms and BRs in the application. I have to delete 2 dimensions of the application. Is it possible to do this through EPMA or SQL tables? I have found a method which talks about the deletion of references in the planning tables, but they are applied to conventional planning. Someone at - he had experience doing in EPMA?

• How to remove memebers then 5000 more employee planning Dimension

  I added 10500 employees number as a member names and used as an alias in the Employee dimension in Hyperion planning. Now, I'm learning all delete and add new employees with roller ID. as child of the dimension an employee and roll name became alias instead of the name of the employee.
  
  Can help me or guide me how delete those already all members added. Our current system information the following...
  
  1-hyperion 9.3 planning
  2. we are loading the metadata using HAL
  3 - employee planning resembles dimension ' employee > existing employees > employee number as a child and used as an alias name.
  
  In the future, we will be following the same process to load data / metadata but we load roll id instead of name of number and the role of the employee rather than the name of the employee.
  
  Could someone help me remove these 10500 members? any line guide and way... It is difficult to remove each Member one by one!
  
  I'd appreciate if someone can help me here.

  You can set the column of the operation to one of the methods for example delete

  Update (by default) - adds, updates, or move the Member being loaded.

  Remove the level 0 - removes the Member if it has no children.

  Delete Idescendants-removes the loading member and all its descendants.

  Remove Removes Descendants descendants of the Member being loaded, but does not remove the member itself.

  Please follow the steps below to delete a dimension of planning an application. I hope it helps

  MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF YOUR APPLICATIONBEFORE TO TRY THIS PROCEDURE.
  You need to remove all the children first, then the dimension.
  If you have the dimension of forms, you may need to also (after step 5) go in the hsp_formobj_def_mbr table and remove the allreferences of this ID of the object. Then delete the low id in the thehsp_form_layout table. Recycle planning services.
  Procedure:
  If you create a dimension in planning and you want to delete, here's how you can manually remove SQL. We recommend that only someone familiar with relational databases attemptthis.
  The following assumptions are made on thedimension:
  * No form were all references to thedimension.
  * Any attribute dimensions have beenremoved of the dimension.
  * All members have been removed from the thedimension.
  * All access security has been removed fromdimension.
  * Any aliases associated with the dimension has been deleted.
  In this example, we created a dimension called DummyDimension.
  1. Open Enterprise Manager for SQL server
  2. open the database with your planning application
  3. open the HSP_OBJECT table
  4. you need to find the line that carries the name of dimension, that you want to remove
  5. take note of the OBJECT_ID
  6. open the HSP_MEMBER table
  7 find and remove all lines that have an equal MEMBER_ID to the OBJECT_ID of step 5
  8. close the Table HSP_MEMBER
  9. open the HSP_MRU_MEMBERS table
  10. find and delete all the lines that have an equal DIM_ID to the OBJECT_ID of step 5
  11 close the HSP_MRU_MEMBERS table
  12. open the HSP_DIMENSION table
  13. find and remove all lines that have an equal DIM_ID to the OBJECT_ID of step 5.
  14. close the HSP_DIMENSION table
  15. also delete it is the reference to the HSP_UNIQUE_NAMES table.
  16 remove the line in the HSP_OBJECT table that you found in step 4.
  17 close the HSP_OBJECT table.
  18 open ASA for the application and remove the size of the necessary Essbase outline.
  19. restart the application of Planning Server.
  Now when you open the application in the planning dimension is removed.
  The next step is to perform a refresh to do of course planning and Essbase are synchronized.

• Option to create new planning application not available

  I recently installed all EMP 11.1.1.2 components into a single system on windows XP system.
  Installation and Configuration succeeded. But when I login in the workspace I do not get an option to create a new planning application.
  IAM opening a session with the default admin user name and password.

  Also, make sure that you put in service the admin with the user with HSS from the creator of the Application and the Dimension Editor roles.

• When will I see as project planning in HSharedServices?

  After you install planning 9.3.1 server, I had to set up by registering with Shared Services, configure the database and deploy to the application server. Would I be able to see as a project in HSharedServices planning at this stage? Or should I create an application?
  
  After the above steps, I'm not able to log in as admin in App Wizard to create a new planning Application. Can connect to HSS as an administrator, I'm not able to supply the admin to admin rights planning (which I don't see as a project planning).

  You will not see the planning application shared services until the planning application was created.

  Make sure that the user has shared services of the creator of the application roles and dimension editor, admin users do not have these default roles.

• Opening to the Photos: what extensions do I need?

  Hi all

  I see the time will come when I'll need to leave the opening. I am using as almost day 1 and I am quite satisfied. But the writing on the wall. I'm a serious amateur, work with RAW and make especially nature photographer, landscapes and animals. Does not suggest that I go to Lightroom - not interested. I have Photoshop but it's more that I need for 90% of my photo editing. I really like the manipulation of file opening but I do a lot of tagging, etc.

  I played with Photos. Simplicity is nice, but it's not opening. I don't see that I can load in Extensions, and I've been surfing on the App store to see what's out there.

  So my question is simple: I want to add in the extensions in order to reproduce the tools, controls and treatment that I have had with Aperture. I can learn a new interface, if that's what it takes to get the fine-grained control that gave me opening. I am particularly interested in the exhibition order and usual settings for tone, contrast, etc. Can I use curves if the extension gives me this opportunity.

  So - what extensions? I don't want to buy more than I need (of course) but I'm willing to pay for the real tools as opposed to fluff. What extensions to give me the command that I had with Aperture?
