  • keep the mouse over an area

I create graphics for events (shows, meetings, etc.). I have a flash game where an area of the screen is the real game projected on the screen and the rest of the screen is for the person who manages the game and not seen by the public. I want to prevent the mouse from the operator to enter the space of the game board (and be seen by the public) while they manage the game.

Is there a way to define a rectangular area where the mouse can not enter?

    UPDATE:

I could make a replacement of slider and adjust its position after a hit test, but it was not a good solution because the cursor Flash image works as the post has been re-evaluated. This code to hide the cursor when it passes over the area 'no cursor' works:

  • Keep the Focus on the button after mouse click

    Hello

I have a button in my VI that triggers a function. I would like to know how can I keep the focus on the button after clicking with the mouse over it? I ask that because I want that after the first click, the focus is kept on the button then I can activate the button with the space bar.

I know I can hit the button with "tab" and then use SPACEBAR, or I can put another key to toggle this button.   But the behavior that I'm trying to get is: 'after the first click on the button for the first time, emphasis is stored on it and then I can use the space bar to activate the button.

    Ideas?

    Thank you.

I found the solution. Using a property node, set to True KeyFocus.

  • Why should I keep the click mouse to keep typing continue offshore assistance

Keep going off will not be on when you type, have to keep clicking the mouse

    Hi Tweetysweet2,

    1. What do you mean when you say ' keep the click mouse to keep typing "? Is it the cursor jumps around on the page when you type?

    2. using a laptop or desktop?

    3. this happens with all programs?

    4. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

    Method 1:

If the cursor jumps constantly as you type, then make sure that the mouse pointer is set to hide when you type. Here are the steps:

    a. click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and other devicesand then click mouse.

    b. on the Pointer Options tab, under visibility, select the Hide pointer while typing check box.

For more information, see the article:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/win_pointer_hide.mspx?mfr=true

    Method 2:

You can refer to the computer or the device manufacturer's Web site and try to install the latest version of the drivers for the Mouse/touchpad:

For more information, see the article:

How to manage devices in Windows XP

    Method 3:

If the problem persists, try to perform a clean boot, and then check if it helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

Note: Make sure that you put the computer to a Normal startup once you have completed troubleshooting.

  • the mouse keeps jumping to the right.

    Separated from this thread.

I use a Surface of 3. Windows 8 and now the mouse keeps jumping to the right. It's terrible and I can't work again. Can someone from Microsoft troubleshoot?

    Concerning

    George

    Hi George,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forums of community of Microsoft.

If your mouse cursor is jumping or jumping around the screen of your laptop, the first thing you can do is wipe the touchpad with a wet washcloth. If you use a laptop computer external mouse, you'll want to make sure to clean that, as well.

A laptop external mouse with a rolling ball will have to be cleaned regularly to aid of peroxide or rubbing alcohol, rub the ball down with a wet washcloth later and then let it dry. Same laptop external optical mouse should be cleaned from time to time, but not nearly as often. Simply wiping under your optical mouse with a wet washcloth will suffice to clean that up, but you want to make sure that any visible dirt is removed.

Method 1: Adjust your mouse settings: repeatedly jumping mouse cursor can be fixed easily by changing the settings of the mouse on your computer.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, go to the control panel in your laptop and click the "Mouse";

    2. You can change various settings, including sensitivity and speed of your touchpad and external mouse speed.

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

Method 2: update your drivers: another good idea when you are troubleshooting a jump or jump the cursor of the mouse is to make sure that your mouse drivers are up-to-date. To do this, go to the site Web of the manufacturer of your mouse and search for most recent and updated drivers and install them on your computer surface.

    Download and install the drivers

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/all-drivers

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

Method 3: Windows 8 and later operating systems come with a built-in option to prevent the cursor move accidentally while typing. You can find this option in the settings of your laptop (Metro-Panel).

    1. open Bar of charms by moving your mouse cursor to the top-right corner or bottom right of the screen, then click on the settings option.

2 then click on the 'change PC settings' option given below.

3 it will open the settings of PC or Panel of subway page. Now in "PC and peripherals-> mouse and touchpad.

4 now you just need to change the value of the option "to help prevent the cursor to move accidentally while you type, change the delay before clicks work." First change its value to "No. delay (always enabled). If she does not work for you, try changing its value to 'delay'.

Permanently disable the problem of boring cursor jump!

I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

    2. replace the mouse if it does not work.
