  I am looking for previous discussions and haven't seen much on this particular issue. My wife 6 IPhone (9.3.1) can not send (or apparently receive) SMS text messages.  iMessages work very well.  I confirmed that SMS messaging is enabled in the settings of course.  She took him to the AT & T store and they tried to change the card SIM, but that did not help at all (and for some reason, pretty much completely reset the phone settings).  They suggested that it might be a hardware problem... ?  Is there a separate or similar SMS radio chip?  Any ideas as anything else, we can try or check?  Thank you.

  Because they were not delivered for some reason any!

  Make sure that you connect to your cellular network (if you are using SMS), and that you have a data connection as well (if you use iMessage).

  In addition, call the intended recipient and ask that they check the same.

  You can also turn off and on your phone.

  Then test some messages.

• Copy and paste - can not copy parts of an SMS message

  I'm really frustrated with the part of the copy of and paste in a text Message. In the SMS.

  If I press any number or a word = nothing happens (if nothing is underlined),

  If I want to copy some text (e.g. address, phone, nothing else) but not the SMS all I don't find a way to do it.

  Anyone else having this problem with SMS messages? Sometimes you need to extract the info from the SMS to stick in a box on a Web site, for example, or add to contacts etc.

  Hello and welcome to the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have checked our Forum.

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy parts of a text message in the messaging preinstalled application. But if you press a number, you can open it with the phone application and copy number of the Dialer. And if you want to copy a URL, you can open the page and copy it from the URL field.

  If you want parts of a text message, my best advice would be to copy the text in a Notepad or similar and then change the text. For example, you can copy it with the text you want to include.

• BlackBerry Z10 Do not receive SMS Messages in my charger to 2013 with Uconnect

  I have a Z10 paired with my charger of 2013 with uConnect (RE2).  I can make calls, but I don't get notification of SMS messages through the system.  My old Curve 9360 used to work properly with my Grand Caravan 2012 and uconnect for texting.

  Is there an incompatibility between BB10 and uconnect?

  I have no way of knowing... I don't have a UConnect system, do not not an identical experience. But on my Honda Civic, 2013, everything comes through in the car very well display/voice system. Thus, one could guess that indeed there is an incompatibility between your specific UConnect system and your specific version of the BB10... but, as the KB has suggested to, check the compatibility of Chrysler could be a useful thing to do for you.

  I am writing an application that sends a text message to someone... the application successfully, the SMS (no exception is thrown) and it works perfectly in the Simulator, but when the app running on my everything and he do send a txt message to a storm the strom (the phone which supposed to receive the response) never gets the message text... heres the code

• BlackBerry 8300 Smartphones do not receive SMS messages

  Well, my Blackberry has been upward since Sunday, do not receive SMS not, deletion of my Inbox all, very slow execution times and loading is painful.

  I thought it might have been a problem of memory, so I removed my pictures and deleted all my emails that are not needed, but yet I don't receive SMS messages.

  Anyone got any ideas here? I really don't want to send my phone off for repair, so if there is a simple solution, I would be grateful. I have far too many people form calls, thinking that I am ignorant, I do not answer to their messages.

  IM back with a solution to my problem. I did switch the phone off, remove the battery, leave it for a few minutes and then back up the phone. I then asked someone text me and it came, not had a problem now all night.

• Smartphones blackBerry SMS message will not erase on a 8330

  I have a Curve 8330.  There is a SMS message that appears on and opens on my home screen but does not appear in one of my message folders.  I opened the message and tried to delete the message menu and pressing the delete key.  Which closes only the message, he is still listed here in my home screen message list.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  The first general fix for strange behaviors became the battery pop reboot. It will not hurt anything and you lose nothing of what you have saved. With the machine running, remove the back cover and pull the battery. Wait about a minute and reinsert the battery and replace the cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long long long restart the process (can be as long as 10 minutes). See if it normally again. As all computing devices, a normal restart can be a healthy thing... and there's a thread in this forum recommends to restart the storm in this way every 4 days.

  I used a Torch 9800 since January this year.  When I send a SMS to a number of mobile special person never receives the message.  My phone displays the message Bill goes to the New Zealand.

  I just bought a second Torch 9800 and having the same problem, the phone does not send SMS messages to the two mobile numbers in particular.

  Thanks for your reply.  No receiver only is not in New Zealand however I sorted out now the problem.  I had to delete the contacts numbers that SMS would not that country codes were incorrect.  Have entered into contracts and all good.

  Hello, I just changed a Pearl to a Curve 8900 and I'm having a bit of trouble getting the same functuionality.

  My messages folder only shows emails I sent and received and not SMS or MMS messages that I've sent and received.  This means that when I receive a TEXT Message, I have to go in the main Blackberry screen and highlight the icon 'SMS and MMS' but I think I should be able to access the SMS messages sent/received from the "Messages" icon on the home screen.  I can create the "Messages" icon SMS messages, but they do not stay there after that that they were sent.

  I could have explained this poorly, but any help would be popular.  The only thing I did to try a fix is pull on the battery, to no avail.

  On the Blackberry go to the queue main, menu, options, general, options.

  Scroll to SMS and Email in the boxes, select handset. Now SMS will appear in the main queue

  It's an interesting question you asked who had me try a few options. Just to clarify, you want to be able to send one group SMS message where others can not see the contact information of someone else, and responses are not sent to everyone in the group. I tried a few different ways, so I'll share what I found.

  To send a message to group with these settings, you disable iMessage and group messaging, but you will have to leave the MMS messaging on. When I sent a group text to my brothers and sisters, she didn't until I switched back on MMS. In my text, I asked if they could see all the coordinates and both answers came back that they couldn't. In addition, their responses are returned to me.

  Insofar as an app that you can use instead, I searched on the App Store by using the words "group message" and a number of pieces came. For those, you need to test them individually to find the right one for you.
