  If the Internet in your entire House crashes because you have started a program, wouldn't you say that the program is the cause? That would be my first guess. You have 2 pair patch activated for World of Warcraft? This can cause some modems and routers to crash because of the number of sudden connections, it must manage. Any torrent application is the same way. Try to disable in the patch and see what happens. I really doubt that Win 7 * only * is causing your whole House to lose internet.

• Whenever I play a game explore HARD drive go all wacky. Never seen this problem before today.

  This NEVER happened before a few days ago. Don't know exactly when that I didn't play for a few days. I could alt tab off games, whenever I wanted to before that without any problems whatsoever.

  Explorer keeps jumping from memory use normal and low of 10 MB and 30 MB, to the use of 500 MB, 1 GB, and slightly above, the use of half of my ram to 2 GB. Explorer goes from normal to that in a moment, when this occurs. That cannot be good. I just noticed that this happens when you do something more intensive you use Firefox or playing a video. First of all, I thought it was just when I alt tab out of any game, Mass Effect 2 in particular right now. When I alt label off ME2 it takes a few minutes for the drive to stop thrashing and to explore to stop using as much ram. Also, everything goes very very slow, virtually frozen since a few minutes. But I also tried a much much much less intensive game (Halo 1) and the same thing happens, it stops just less than a minute. It shouldn't happen even for a few seconds.

  I just downgrade my GPU driver to see if he'll fix it (did not help) and I noticed the Explorer do the thing of the use of huge ram for a few seconds during the driver installation. That is how I know that it is not just about games as I thought initially. Also after I alt tab out ME2 after that I'm able to do things again once my HDD will always continue to do things for more than a few minutes. I have screenshots of the resource manager of the monitor and the task during the activity. Look at ways out of whack to me. If you need I can post a hijack this log journal and combofix.

  Certainly a SCAM, you have made the right choice. Never to give them information and never leave access to your PC.

  It is difficult, if not impossible to remove your number from a list of scam once its on it. And it's hard to know how they got it in the first place. It could be a list simple phone book. Recording with things like Telephone Preference Service (United Kingdom) and asking to be made "Red" (BT - UK) can make it harder for them to get a number in the first place, but once they have it probably wont help. It can stop any other do however.

  There are devices like Call Blocker, which can be programmed for their calls not ring your line, but it depends on what number they release when they call. If their number is "held" and then some providers have a service to stop calls "deductions number' to ring your line. ACR service (BT - Uk).

  I tried to recreate the mailing list (49 names!), no change. I used this (and other mailing lists) for years, so I'm positive, that it ruptured during the last update to Thunderbird. More I do several mailings a month to this list, and typing in 49 names each time by hand isn't funny (just finished with the message of today ' hui).

  I had a problem sending mail to a list that I had used successfully in Eudora. Imported from Eudora and it has not been accepted in Thunderbird with the above error message. My name of the list was of 2 words. I deleted the space between the 2 words and can now send mail to this list successfullly.
