  After recovering disk space, I tried to run BCA. I used a 64 bit Win10 .iso downloaded from Microsoft. BCA created the installation disk, downloaded media files and allowed me to choose my size of the partition (same split) on my merger of 3 TB drive. Then I got the error.

  I repaired the drive in disk utility, and restarted in single-user mode and made a repair of the AF - / sbin/fsck.

  As you test, use utility disk to create a FAT of 1 partition to or more and check the result of diskutil disk1 and sudo fdisk/dev/disk1 list and check if it works. If so, you can always delete the partition and use wizard BC.

If play you Spider Solitaire on it the sound does not work, instead of cards with a "rat-tat-tat-tat", etc. they are all face and you hear just a 'splat' on the end. I took it back to PC world that it two-way for another who was similarly... I've tried 2 others at an another PC World (Exeter) - still.

  It s very strange that the sound is working and it seems fine with all other applications.
  Maybe the sound drivers card is damaged or is not compatible with Windows solitaire and spider games.
  I recommend you visit the page of the Toshiba driver and first update the sound card driver.

  Solitaire game isn't at HP, it's a game of Microsoft. You can use Windows Store to install Solitaire on your Windows 10. I do not install on our Windows 10 laptop computers but on our Windows 10 phones.

  This sounds like it may be more a video problem then a solitary subject.  You see this behavior with other programs at all?  First thing to do is to update your hardware drivers.  You will want to start first with the video card driver, but make sure you check on your other hardware as well.  Get the driver directly from the manufacturer of the equipment and make sure there is a Windows 7 driver.

  The files that contain the statistics are:
  C:\Users\(User Name) \AppData\Local\Microsoft Games\Solitaire(or spider, chess, etc..)

  You will not be able to add colors for maps or background, but you can change the color of background and maps and also to enlarge the maps.

  You can re - install Solitaire by going to control panel-> programs control-> activate Windows features turn on or off.  You will get then a window will open that will take a few seconds to load completely.  One of the options will be games, you can do that by clicking on the icon to the left of it and little, which lists all of the games that come with Windows, with boxes to tick to turn on or off.

  Found an answer for Vista, that should work for you in Windows 7.

  To reset the game statistics, you must delete some files. These files will be re-created automatically the next time you play the game. The files are located in the following location: 'C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft Games\ [game]", where [username] is the name of your account and [game] is the name of the game (in your case, Solitaire). Just delete the contents of the folder, but DO NOT delete the folder itself.
