• SPEED LIMIT OF DOUBLE CLICK KEY

  I have a HP Probook4540s runing Windows 7 Professional. Last night, he started a speed limit on double substitution in a screen or program any key.   Please check if you face the same problem when recording in safe mode. It is a possibility that one of the non-Microsoft application or driver is causing this issue.
   
  Step 1.
  a. restart your computer.
  b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
  c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.
  d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
  e. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
  f. do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.
   
  Step 2.
  If it works fine in safe mode try performing a clean boot in order to find the cause root.

  I bought a touch screen of Windows 8 Sony Vaio Duo 11 as a tablet of Ms Surface.  Scrolling on the Vaio Duo 11 has much less inertia and acceleration then on the Surface.  If I flip through a Web page, or scrolling on the Start Menu, there are several films on the Vaio, versus a quick shot to the Surface.  How to set the scrolling speed in Windows 8?  Vaio Duo has nTrig touch, but there is no any arrangement applicable in Panel.  Are there registry changes, what can I do?  Help, please.

• WiFi speed on mac mini is wildly inconsistent

  I have Uverse internet.  The modem is also a wifi router.  I also have a range extender made by amplified wireless.  I use it for awhile.  This weekend the most bizarre behavior began.  WiFi directly to the router is, not always but a significant percentage of the time, crazy slow.  Less than 1 MB. And connectivity watch bars full.   Here's the weird part: with other devices, the speed is very good.  Well more than 15 MB.  And the strangest of all?  If I'm on the Extender, the speed is better.  Not full bore (which is normal), but a lot better.  Say of the order of 7 to 10 MB.

  I restarted the modem, but as I say, it's well on other devices.  I ran Diagnostics on the Mac Mini and he told me that everything was fine.

  So what I didn't know when I bought my dm4, it was that the regular F keys functions would be available if I hit the function key at the same time.  Personally, I have almost zero use for easy access to the volume conrol and screen brightness, for example.  However, I use a transcription software that uses the F keys to control the program.  Except that now I have to press the function key to operate.  It is, as you can imagine, incredibly aggravating.

  Example: normally, pressing F10 will begin recording in my software to transcript at normal speed.  Now, if I forgot to hit the function (or I get bored, which is much more aggravating), the volume increases instead. This becomes especially problematic when I want to hit the F4 key to stop the recording of the game.  If she does not soon, I have to go back.  And since I'm typing while playing, press the function key gets a serious exercise in acrobatics.

  Is it possible to reprogram this thing to ensure the functions in the reverse order, essentially?  i.e. If the volume will go up if I hit the button and function the F10 at the same time?  I know almost nothing computer, then maybe this is a stupid question...
